Hellenk Taste

We went here on one of the last days of our holiday. The Food was great, the waiters were really friendly and the price was superb. I would reccomend everyone to go and try it out. The big guy out the front was fine. The greeks do speak in a tone that does sound like they are in a mood, but they are not at all.

 didnt go in as the fat man on the doo r called my brother a malaca !! he ought to look in the mirror ! (this means w*nk*r ) just because we wouldnt go in !

The big greek man and the little bald one were arrogant pigs who were only friendly if they thought you'd go in. They should be charged with serious harrassment 1 plus the small bald one was extremely rude to my boyfriend when he told him that we were eating somewhere else.

me and my partner have just got back from laganas, and i am disgusted by the way the big bald greek man spoke to me. he was hassling us to go in and i got a bit peed off with it so said to partner to walk away. the bald guy then ripped the card that he had given us out of my hand and then said "this card is for nice people, not you....i dont like your face".
what a great way to gain custom eh?

Went here twice and the staff are quite friendly only they do really hassle you when you walk past even if you ate there the night before, I found this really annoying.

The food was good but not the best we had sampled, although on the second visit I had to visit the little girls room, to get there you had to walk through the kitchen and once I had seen it, it made me feel sick and I decided at that point I would never go back. There was raw meat out just left uncovered and it all looked very very messy and unclean (I'm not saying that it was unclean it just looked it, enough to put me off anyway).
Oh and the Lamb Kleftiko was the fattiest lamb I had all holiday.

Would neither recommend it or say avoid it - try it if you like and make up your own mind!

I've just got back from Laganas and felt the need to inform people not to go to the 'Hellenic Taste' restaurant!!! We went there for lunch on the 1st day of our week long holiday, the food was ok. But we wanted to try different restaurants every day, so when we politely said 'No thanks' to the bald guy outside the restaurant, all we got was a load of abuse!

You could tell by the tone of his voice that he was having an evil rant at you for not eating there. On my last evening, he really started laying in to us, and I had a go at him back, as I was that mad! That man is a vicious thug and a bully, and I think it's disgusting how he spoke to me and my friend (both girls).

So, please don't go there!!!

the food in this restaurant is disgusting we had to send my girlfriends meal back as it was (frozen) cold.

Went away for 7 nights, ate here 5 of those nights. Food was divine, especially the "Home made desert"! Atmosphere was good, laid back, friendly, you could take ya time to enjoy. We tried another two places that week, but it just wasn't the same.

The big greek guy who tried to drag us in every night is a complete asshole. We gave it a try within the first few days of arriving in the resort. Although the meal was ok, we didn't return. Me and my mate wanted to try different places each night and when you said no, you can tell he was insulting you in greek by the tone of his voice. This put us off going back and the offer of free wine each night isn't worth it as it tastes rank!

worst meal we have ever had in laganas and we have been here two years running first time we have been to this restaurant and we were served very slowly and the food was terrible.

Went for Breakfast on our last day there in October... Food not cooked through , Omelete swimming in oil... all 4 of us left everything , we just ate the toast!!! Gave us some crap that the chef was off so probably got anyone in too cook....Been goingto Laganas for last 7 years and 1st time tried here..Stick with Paula at Last or Robin Hood for a good Breakfast.

Good Place To get drunk, as you dont pay for the wine, not that good but its FREEEEEEEE.
Food very nice,try the lamb kleftico realy tasty.
2 meals with rolls and wine cost €18.00. got drunk as well.

well besides getting free awful wine the chicken was not cooked and i felt very ill avoid if possible

The guy on the door hassled us every night to go in, we eventually went for a meal there on about the 8th night, it was a big dissappointment, also the free wine tasted like viniger

The guy on the door is THE best hustler in Zante. Worth going in just to watch him in action as he never flags as he works 16 hours a day. And it istn even his restaurant.

Gave us a treat when a snotty English couple refused to pay for their meal because they didnt like the look of it. He got his money!

Don't take any notice of the bloke with the menu the food's crap.

on the main road in laganas on the same side and near to the go/cart.very clean very friendly and the best moussaka in laganas. highly recomended.
