Only managed to eat here once during our 2 week stay (little girl had other ideas) but would have happily ate here everynight the Kleftiko is absolutely gorgeous it just melts in your mouth, the waiters are friendly and offer an excellant choice of meals. For a taste of real Greek food you must eat here at least once during your stay

Ann D

we went 29th july to 11 august had a meal here the setting was magical..think shirley valentine watching the sunset whilst eating the best lamb kelefitko ever..then being serenaded by two hunky greek guitarists perfect......

Paul H

Excellent place to eat,so good infact that we hope to hold our wedding reception there next year (if I can get hold of Peri to arrange it). Missed not being there this year. :-(

Jon H

We eat at various places on our holiday in argassi but none were anything like the granada ,the food was excellent and the staff were even better keep up the good work Peri and family

Kate H

Delicious food, great service and a really nice atmosphere. The Lamb Kleftiko (sp?) was absolutely delicious.

Lee C

Loved this place, great food, really nice people, and great with kids

Barbara H

To Peri and family and  Nicole thanks for the excellent food and entertaining company. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone especially on the Greek  music and dancing nights.  Personal favourites were the beef stifado and the lamb kleftiko and I don't think we are the only ones to have enjoyed them.  Hope to make it to Zante and the Granada again one day.

Paul K

My partner Steve and I absolutely adored the Granada.  Perry made us so welcome.  Our friends Charley & Marlene, John & Diane, Alan & Sue all ate there on a regular basis and we will be back (Eat your heart out Arnie!).  Mamma's cooking cannot be beaten, roll on September.   If you read this Perry - get the whiskey out Steve and you have some serious catching up to do, we missed you last year but will make up for it this year.  Looking forward to a fabulous holiday, see you in September.

We stayed in Argassi the very last week of the summer season.  We ate at Granada on 3 different occasions, each time trying something different from the extensive menu.  All were excellent!  The service and the friendly staff made the restaurant very very welcoming.

Hey Guys only me again. Got our holiday pics back and there are some fantastic ones of us from the Cameo club. ENJOY!!

Kate G

Hi Guys!!! How are you? Remember us? Kate, Katy and Michelle?   - Its only been a week since we got back and the tan is already fading! I'm not impressed!

For anyone other than Piere and Nicole reading this and you are visting Argassi in the near future i would most definately recommend that you visited the Granada restaurant! The food is fantastic and is all cooked by Peire's mother. Therefore all the food is like a home cooked meal! Amazing!!

I was in Argassi in the last two weeks in August and during my stay i visited the restuarant about 5 times. This was due to the Thursday entertainment (Traditional Greek night - plate smashing and everything!) the hospitality that Piere and Nicole showed and the family atmosphere that Piere and his family showed. Plus all those free shots that Nicole were throwing down our necks!!

I've not got a bad word to say about this place it is fantastic! If you are going to visit the restaurant i would recommend the mexican pork it is gorge!!! You can find the restaurant about 50 yards past the green frog away from the other restuarants and bars.

Nicole if you are reading this ... your hamster ball is on its way!!!
lol kate xx

Definately one of the best places to eat in Argassi. Brilliant Greek night on a thursday.Perry the owner made us feel so welcome was even happy to change our meals if we didn't like what he recommended,Needless to say he didn't have to do this as the food is superb.Well done to perry and all the staff there.

Declan M

Granada is without doubt the best restaurant in Argassi, with exceptional food, great friendly service and great prices. We ate there 6 nights out of 13 and had superb Stifado, Lamb Chops,Kleftico and Beef Stamnas...not all on the same night. The Greek Night was great fun and the Greek Musicians on Tuesdays and Saturday nights gave the place a lovely ambience.

The staff were brilliant and we will definately be back next year....might even have the wedding there!!

Andrew M

Turn right at the bottom of the t-junction, past the Red Lion, Green Frog etc.....well worth the walk.  Lots of locals eat there (always a good sign), plus if your in the area out of season, the owner informed us the Granada is the only local taverna open all year round.
Apart from the food being excellent, the owner also offered advise on other places to visit/eat on the island, if you were out and about in a hire car/bike.

Paul K

well this taverna is in my opinion the best taverna in argassi by far food is unbelievable prices cannot be beaten perry who runs this taverna has everything perfect keep it up guys .ps try the t.bone steak divine

Clare & Clive

Lovely genuine restaurant on the outskirts of Argassi. We went here on our first night and wasnt very hungry because of pigging out all day!! so we only had starters of meatballs and garlic bread, however, it was really lovely. Waiters were chatty and advised us not to do the excursions - very true - hire a car from Moto Sprint just down the road from this place. Excellent.

Fred G

What a great place to eat.The food was out of this world, we tried several other restaurants before we found this one and ate there exclusively from then. Peri the head waiter was great, he explained the menu with gusto and made our mouths water. All the food was "made to Mama's recipes" and once tried you would want to adpot his mum !!
Do not miss the Greek night on Thursdays and be prepared to join in, including dancing in the street

Frederick W

The food, service, price and atmosphere all excellent. I went to this restaurant 4 times. I could go on, but tickle those taste buds - you won't be disappointed. (August 2004)

Allan B

The best restaurant by far!! We went to a different restaurant every night and this was the only one we returned to. The staff were friendly & the fooddelicious - I would highly recommend the Kleftico!

Chris B

Ate at the Granada three times on our holidays cannot fault it at all you were never harrassed to go in, the Kleftico was out of this world.
The Greek nights were not to be missed and were extremely enjoyable. Well done!!

Rachel R

The granada was gr8 especially the greek nite... and tha main waiter was brilliant he made sure you had everything you needed. one of tha waiters always wore a vest underneath his shirt ...did n e one else notice that lol it was tha chubby one he musta been hot.... if you cant decide what to eat try the specials of that day and you will not be dissapointed

Lorraine B

We went to a different restaurant every night and this was the best best and the only one we returned to. The staff were really friendly and the menu delicious, especially the Greek food. The Greek Night was very entertaining. I would highly recommend it!

Paul K

excellent restaurant fantstic food fantastic service

Andrea S

As a family of two adults and three children under the age of 12 we found this restaurant both friendly and inexpensive the food was top as was the entertainment especially the Greek Night - it is a must - gives you an idea of how the Greeks eat everyday

Sian F

Just back from Argassi and can highly recommend the Granada Restaurant. Nikki was outside every evening chatting to passers by but not trying to force people into the restaurant. We had to try the restaurant as she was so lovely!! It turned out to be the best meal in Argassi for choice, quality, service and price. We ate there two nights in a row and wished we gone earlier in the week. The Greek night on a Tuesday was excellent too. Can recommend Lamb Kleftiko, Beef Stamnas, Steak Granada and Swordfish. If you go there tell Nikki she is now famous! Sian and Richard

Nigel C

We were sent here by Spiridoula at Zakantha Beach Hotel. Walked to the other end of Argassi to get here. Our favourite place in Argassi (we spent 2 weeks there and ate at 10 different places). Food is the best. Entertainment is better than the "professional" stuff we saw in Athens. Went there 3 times for Greek night and Music nights. You've got to go there. It's past the end of town, just past the "Green Frog" - opposite end from Zante town.

Lesley B

If you like a typical Greek evening then Granada is excellent. They have live music on a Saturday & Tuesday and a Greek Night on a Thursday.

Denise J

The Granada was our fav. restaurant. The staff were very friendly, the food was great, great menu, great service and agood price. Would reccomend it to any one.
