Rachel S

we ate here twice in 2 weeks. i had the same meal which was veg enchaladas they were scrummy a must for any1 who is a vegetarian! the service was good but quite slow but like other restaurants it wasnt there fault that it was so busy and not enough staff. had 2 wait a while for the bill but the food was well worth it and made up for the wait!

Gary C

Just back. Great VFM. Try the Mexican Ribs- bet you can't them all

Johanne D

We were in Zante last August for 2 weeks and ate at Pieros 4 or 5 times. It was excellent everytime.  Try it out

Julie M

click to enlargeJust returned from Tsivili and must say that our 4 visits to Pieros made our holiday.  The food was delicious in particular the pieros mushrooms (make sure you have extra bread to mop up the sauce)  the kleftico was superb and the santorini.  Wish we had the time to stay and try the whole menu.  The Pieros chocolate cake is a must.  The two very handsome waiters were fantastic with my daughter Megan. She cant wait to go back and see them (me too)

Lynne C

Just returned from yet another great holiday in Zante, and had several meals in our favourite restaurant. The food, and service were excellent, as always, and it was great to see our 'boys' again, Nikos and Nikos.  Piero's now sell their own brand of wine, and it's really good. Shame we didn't have room to bring more of it back home with us!  We'll be back again next year, so 'thank you' to everyone, for making our holiday so memorable.

Suzanne M

Ate here 3 times during the 2 weeks we spent in Tsilivi and the meal was great everytime.  We weren't even tempted to order off the Mexican menu as the Greek food was just superb - I highly recommend the Beef Stifado and Pieros Stamna and the House Medium Sweet Wine is lovely - but imported from Thassos in huge boxes so you won't be able to buy a bottle anywhere.

Dawn M

We wish we found this place sooner, it was one of the best meals we had while on holiday this year.It was so good we went three nights in a row because the menu was so big and varied we had lots to choose from. The mexican and greek was cooked to perfection. We will be back. x

Mike G

We enjoyed the Fajitas so much here we went back for them a second time later in our holiday.  The service is very quick (perhaps even a little too quick?) and the waiters friendly and attentaive enough.

Yet possibly because we chose from the mexican section of the nenu (the buffalo wings and jalapeno peppers starters were also excellent) we found this restaurant to be the most expensive we ate in - by quite a considerable margin.  Yet I guess we must have thought it worth it, otherwise we wouldn't have gone back!

Would certainly recommend to anyone who enjoys fajitas or is looking for something a bit different to that offered elsewhere.

Elle C

I cannot agree that this restaurant is excellent , I expected lots of fresh ingredients not tinned peas and carrots...
And the sole was terrible, I would say that this was mediocre cafe food, there are some great reataurants in tsilivi but this did not impress.

I would not eat here again

J D

Mea culpa.........almost forgot, the ROQUEFORT SALAD is delicious too, perfect combination of  roquefort, crispy bacon, fresh salad leaves and all delicately drizzled in a honey/mustard dressing.  Brought to your table with a smile and eaten with gusto.

J D

A mouth watering experience in the best restaurant in Tsilivi.  The food was gorgeous, definitely recommend the BEKRI MEZE ( you'll find it in the fillet beef part of the menu).....strips of melt in your mouth steak to die for and cheap at half the price.  You'd treble the bill to get food and service like this in London.  Relaxing surroundings and proper tablecloths...who could ask for anything more?  And a big thumbs up from my daughter for the seafood salad and colouring pictures.

Ken A

We had an enjoyable meal here.

A good varied menu, the waiters were friendly and considering it's on the main street the surroundings are pleasant.

Helena W

been to Tsilivi 6 times and head to this restaurant on the first night every time, and also throughout the 2 weeks of our holiday. We love it here. The menu is extensive and the food is cooked to perfection. The staff in there are great with kids, and remember us every time we go back, especially the waiter with the pony tail.

J D

Agreed! It's the only place in Tsilivi I would take friends to. I have never had a bad meal here. The food is always superb and the service second to none. They make the kids welcome and the slush puppy machine is a boon. Recently a friend tried the cajun chicken and now won't eat it anywhere else in the UK because she knows she will be disappointed...and she is a big cajun chicken fan.

The fajitas are gorgeous, the steaks are melt in your mouth...I could go on and on, have never had a meal that I wouldn't order again. I'm starving now just thinking about the place.

Aoife

I lived in tsilivi for Summer 2003, and i absolutely lived in this restaurant!!!! Even when friends and family came to visit, this is the place I would bring them to.....Ive been home nearly 2 years and I still cant find a restaurant that lives up to Pieros standard.....lush food, and fab prices.... xxx

Stu J

Mixed Fajitas were beutifull ( No Mayo or  Tomato ketchup!) friendly Staff and all at a good price.  also the greek food here is good and well worth trying plus you get a card for a free carafe of wine if you go back

Roxanne H

Had THE WORST  meal here i have EVER had, absolutley full of grease.  Not sure quite how mexican the chefs are but dont ever remember fajitas coming with mayonaise and tomata ketchup (weird).  The service was awful, waiter snatched menu's out of hands v v v rude .  If you actually want a nice meal and an enjoyable evening i dont recommed it.  (however because of its central location its quite good to park your car in front of)

Andrea B

Myself and fiance have just returned from 2 weeks in Tsivili. We visited Piero's three times and had a great meal every time. Went with another couple, one of whom is a vegetarian and there was a great selection of food. We were well looked after and there was a great selection of food - both tradional Greek dishes and also the old english favorites and Mexican food also. Would definately recommend this restaurant for a meal out - very reasonably priced and the desserts are great.

Sarah-jane M

Really enjoyed eating in Pieros. Went there three times in one week!! Smile You have to try the chocolate cake!

Samantha H

Greek and Mexican.  We went mexican.  Excellent couldn't believe the amount of meat for the Chicken Fajita - I managed it though. Daughter struggled with the amount of pasta - massive plate full.  Staff really friendly -love the kids brought our 5 year old, crayons and paper. Very good, would recommend.

Lynne C

Sorry - forgot to say 'thank you' from kevin, as well. He recommends the steaks(and the coffee and brandy - and the house rose wine). Love to you all.

Lynne C

just got back from another visit to tsilivi and went back to our favourite restaurant. Nikos remembered us, which was great, and made us very welcome, as usual. The food was fantastic, the waiters are WONDERFUL, and so are the rest of the staff. Don't bother eating anywhere else, if you want good food and a relaxing evening out. As in previous comments on the site, there's no rush to get you out, and the staff are brilliant with children. See you next year, love to Nikos and Nikos and all the staff, and thanks for making our holiday something special yet again. xxx PS. Try the asparagus in cream sauce with ham, for starters - it's lovely.

Gill E

SECOND YEAR WE VISITED TSILIVI AND PIEROS. NIKOS REMEMBERED US, AMAZING CONSIDERING HOW MANY CUSTOMERS MUST COME AN GO THROUGH THOSE DOORS! WE FOUND THE FOOD JUST AS GOOD AS THE YEAR BEFORE AND THE SERVICE IS EXCELLENT, THE MIXED GRILL WAS MY SONS FAVOURITE, HUGE!! THE STAFF AT PIEROS MAKE THE EXPERIENCE DELIGHTFUL AND NO MATTER HOW BUSY IT IS YOUR NEVER RUSHED, MAKING THIS A MUST FOR ANYONE WHO VISITS TSILIV. A BIG HELLO TO EVERYONE AT PIEROS AND SEE YOU SOON X

Damon T

This was the only place we ate at more than once and found the food very good and the service was spot on - not to slow or quick. Had a very good choice for veggies and the Greek meat dishes were very good. Would definitely recommend the place.

Helena W

frequented pierro's again over the course of our 2 weeks stay in tsiliv. The food just gets better every year.Waiters were so friendly and loved kids, and the service was really good. 10/10 for the chef and staff.

Dane Y

This place was our favourite the chillie pot starter was first class as was the fajitas massive portions this is a great place to eat.

They do both greek and mexican menus try it great food.

Helena W

one of the best restaurants in Tsilivi. Their T-bone steaks are huge. We love it there, and ate ther quite a few times during our holiday last year. We will certainly be going again when we go to Tsilivi in September.

J D

Another satisfying visit to Piero's. It is consistently above average in all aspects. Food delicious, the king prawns were of gargantuan proportions and the steak was melt in your mouth quality.
Service friendly and relaxed. Crayons and pics given to the rugrats to colour-in.
It never fails to deliver an excellent meal awash with ambience.

Rob S

Nice food good size portions and probably the nicest 'house white' of the holidays, in all the restaurants in the town weel worth a visit

Jeanette F

The food was excellent as usual, fantastic Burritos, Lamb Kleftiko, and the special mushrooms with cream, bacon and pineapple sauce were something else, Yum! The medium red house wine was great, not like the cheap plonk you get at some of the other restaurants. Left you wanting more. Friendly family service, well worth the wait for the freshly cooked food. Definitely worth a visit!!!

Jennifer N

We've just returned from Tsilivi and ate twice at Piero's. On the first night I decided to have something un-Greek so plumped for pasta with pesto sauce while my boyfriend had chicken fajitas. I have to say he made the best choice. We went back the next night and had chicken and beef fajitas and they were delicious. Try the pistachio ice cream too and the amaretto coffee. Busy but not rushed and the service was excellent.

Jean M

This place was a major dissapointment. The worse meal we had during our two week stay. Waiters were nice enough but the service was slow. Found the whole experience of eating here a major let down

Jim B

Fantastic place, although I'm not sure that the chef looked at the menu when he prepared 'Pieros King Prawns' which was supposed to come with a creamy garlic sauce, but actually came with a tomato sauce. Still, I forgave them when I saw the prawns - far and away the biggest I've ever seen!

Great service too!

Chris L

WE WENT TO THIS RESTAURANT EVERY NIGHT FOR A WEEK, AND I COUNDNT HAVE DINED IN A BETTER PLACE. THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT, THE SERVICE WAS VERY GOOD AND THE WAITERS WERE VERY FRIENDLY TO US AND OUR CHILDREN. WE ARE GOING BACK TO TSILIVI NEXT YEAR AND WILL BE DEFINATLY GOING TO PIEROS AGAIN

Robert C

I trawled this site for eating out information before going to Tsilivi and was justly rewarded.Pieros was rated as a number 9/10 and I agree with that. In the party of four,2 had Fajitas 2 had steak meals no one was disapointed. The service was warm and friendly.Prices were about average.

Stephanie P

We ate once in this restaurant. The moussaka was delicious (unfortunately served with french fries...)and not very expensive. The place was nice as well as the service.

Steve C

We ate there twice and the second time the Restaurant was nearly full, consequently our food took 45 minutes to arrive. Having said that the food is excellent and the Greek Walnut cake for dessert was outstanding the most expensive place we went to. Morale of the story is if its packed go some else as you will wait.

Michelle W

We wnet to this restaurant on our last night, hoping for a lovely meal in a pleasant restaurant. We found the waiters to be miserable and rude. Our main course took an age to arrive and when it did it was luke warm. Be sure to be sitting under a fan as it gets very hot even outside.!!

Andy T

Great food, well most of it was, one starter we had, Garlic prawns was expensive and you could count the prawns. The rest was excellent though. Service was a little on the slow side but not a major problem.

Peter N

The service could have been better. My bottle of beer was plonked on table with no glass. When I asked for one it (warm) was also plonked infront of me by the dude with the pony tail who clearly thinks he is "it". Flat coke for the kids too....but the food was good.
By the way, ref Elizabeth Conways earlier comment how many deaf and dumb lighter sales peeps do you think there are in the world? These are mostly Albanians and what they are doing is begging. They are even stooping so far as to hand out leaflets claiming they are saving money to treat cancer stricken children. Get a reality check woman!

John M

good mexican food , fajitas were first class, a nice change to chips & rice with everything

Ian B

Nice to see a mexican restaurant on holiday. There are hardly any in Cardiff so to see one abroad was a bonus as i love Mexican food!
We were recommended it by our Thomsons Rep as being the best on the restaurant on the island. Wouldn't agree with that but it was nice and worth a visit! You can shoot some penalties next door if you want to burn off your meal aswell!

Lisa H

this was the worst place we ate in during our stay.we waited a good twenty minutes before anyone gave us a menu or asked if we wanted a drink.after ordering it must have been nearly another hour before the food turned up,they neednt heve bothered.my son only wanted sausage and chips ,the sausage was near enough raw, it was disgusting and ours wasnt much better.the service was awful, we couldnt wait to get out of there.unusual, for most of the restaurants in tsilivi are great and we really enjoyed the rest of our holiday.cant understand how this place has got such a good rating ,go to zeus, it was excellent in every way,so were many others but give this a miss!

Elizabeth C

The restaurant, food and service was good. What I did not admire was their policy. The deaf boy who sells cigarette lighters approached our table when this very rude/drunk customer PULLED open the boys bag and THREW the gas lighters in (with no concern for anyone's safety) then he SHOUTED he did not want this CRAP.The waiters then ejected the deaf boy. We complained about their policy to be told they had to keep their customers happy but failed to understand that only one table complained. We saw this deaf boy in many restaurants during our holiday and as this boy was unable to either offend or cause trouble.
Our visit to Pieros was ruined by the restaurants attitude

Sandra J

Brilliant food and service, staff very friendly and very good with children.Would definitely recomend this restraunt to anyone.

Robert C

We ate here quite a few times and enjoyed the food and service. A "must visit" if you go to Tsilivi. The Fajitas and the Fioro (garlic chicken) were excellent, the t-bone was good but a little on the thin side. Since the Cat's Whiskers has closed a good steak may be rare (parden the pun)in Tsilivi.

Peter B

They've done it again. We tried the rest, but yet again Piero's is the best!
The food is great, but it is the service and attitude of the staff that really makes this restaurant the best in Tsilivi. We would rather eat at Piero's than at the best restaurant in London. Well done and thank you to Dennis, Nico, Theo, Roz and Louise. Also, hello to the beautiful Alycia (Dennis's daughter) whom we met for the first time on our last night. The experience at Piero's again made our holiday! We were not as customers, but as friends.
To anyone eating at Piero's this summer (and you really should), please tell Dennis that Peter & Lynn sent you - and tell them to save our table!!!

Julie D

Remains the best place to eat in Tsilivi. The rain was bouncing off the street and the thunder clattered above, but we could not have wished to be anywhere else other than here. The chicken fajitas loomed large in my legend and the T Bone Special was eaten with lip smacking gusto. The staff are warm and the food is hot, gastronomic heaven.

Peter B

Further to our previous comments below. If Roz, Dennis and the rest of the staff read this, we have immediately booked to come back next May, just so that we can give you another visit...every night of our holiday!

Peter B

(second try at comments!) Once my wife and I found Pieros that was it. Fantastic! Every meal we had there was as good as it gets. The meat platter: chicken, beef, lamb, pork, each generous piece melted in the mouth. And as for the chicken kebab with bacon. Aargh!! But a restaurant is nothing without the service. From the very first welcome from Dennis the head waiter, to the handshake goodbyes, you could not ask for more. Nothing was too much for them. We arrived as customers and left as friends. Now that is customer service.

Rebecca C

Mmmmmmmm!!! Best place by far, but too much to choose from, had to keep going back, to try all the dishes!!!

Kevin H

Had a nice family meal here tge steak was good and cooked as ordered which seems to be a rare feat on zante, chicken hoffman was much enjoyed by 2 members of our party, only thing to spoil it was it was the only place in the entire 2 weeks who had trouble with my visa card and they could'nt swipe manually so i had to wait at the bar feeling like a crimanal while my wife went back to the apartment to get money

Laura K

Definitely our favourite rstaurant in Tsilivi. Went there 5 times in 2 wks. The Souvlaki is excellent as were all the other dishes we tried. Not a complaint in sight. The waiting staff are very friendly and make you feel very welcome. Well worth a visit (or several!!)

Ingrid S

Between 6 and 8 in the evening, kids can eat free. this first attracted me to go in to Pieros restaurant in the first place. Well I'm glad I did as the food was lovely and the kids portion quite generous. The staff were lovely too and very attentive. Deffinately 10 out of 10.

Victoria W

Pieros has got to be the best restaurant in Tsilivi. The food is extremely nice, some dishes may be a bit on the expensive side, but well worth it. Waiters/ Waitress' fantastic with the children and provided them with pictures to colour along with colouring pencils, whilst waiting for their meal. This keeps the children busy, so all can enjoy a nice relaxed meal. The rump steak was my favourite, but there is something for everyone. Pieros is definatly worth visiting if staying in Tsilivi.

Manon B

Very good restaurant, good food very friendly service and a perfect loction.

Emma N

What a lovely restaurant this is. Centrally located and reasonably priced, Pieros has everything you could want. The lovely waiter, Dennis is very pleasant and welcoming. The menu is varied and caters for children. The Chicken Enchalada is delicious as is the Chicken in BBQ sauce. This restaurant is very popular and does get busy, so to avoid waiting a while for your food, arrive before 8pm. But even if you do have to wait, it's worth it! And you'll get the customary bread slices to keep you going, brought to you by the lovely George!

Lucie B

This restaurant has to be one of the best in Tsilivi. The waiters/waitresses are the best. Especially Dennis, he will give you the best table and service. If you want a great meal try Chicken Stamna (Absolutely wicked). Prices are reasonable too. After eating in here go into the Joker bar ran by Piero's brother Mario.

Bec H

Very, very nice. Great atmosphere and the fans certainly help to keep you cool to enjoy your meal. The food was really great. Cannot fault it. Well worth the extra money for a wonderful meal and beautiful surroundings.

Ian D

Friendly, efficient staff, great food (especially the swordfish). Only found it with 2 nights to go.

Ken B

The same standard as many others, but significantly more expensive.

Michelle E

we ate at a few other restaurants b4 trying here but once we ate here we realised wat we had been missing. we had found with many of the others that "service with a smile" was not on the menu but at Pieros this was not the case, they were extremely friendly and took time to talk to you. The food, well wat can you say ! TREEMENDOSS !!! try the village sausage 4 starter and if you r feeling a little extravagant go with the chateau briam for main [for two peeps] they also do a corking rose wine look in the back of the menu for the better quality vino's if you can manage a pud definately do, their Ice creams are out of this world Also i would like to say thank you to the waiters who gave me many great cooking ideas - you are stars ! We noticed one nite that a few peeps got arsy with the wait, but wat I would say to that is CHILL ! you are on holiday and whats the rush ?! after all they are preparing quality nosh from scratch so give them a break. If you are off to tsillivi please do check this place out as they are so genuine, it's obvious they are not just after your money

Hedley P

The place looks better than the food and the service. If in town go next door to the Olive Tree.

Charlie B

We found this to be the best place to eat in the town and visited it several times, the barbeque chicken was excellent and the service was great. Tim and Nanci

Dawn B

This was definitely the best cooking in town. Be prepared to have a wait in between courses, not a place to rush in and out, but when you know it is because each meal is being cooked to order, it doesn't seem so bad! The service is first class. The prices are a little more than other restaurants but the menu outside shows that quite clearly so you don't enter unknowingly! Definitely worth the wait and the money. We liked it so much we returned for our last night.

Des W

We went there twice in 2weeks both times were excellent.1 of the best.

Ade

Excellent food (used 3 nights running !) Very authentic, beautiful restaurant, clean. WELL RECOMMENDED.

Lucie B

Great place to eat, prices extremely reasonable and food piping hot and plenty of variety.

Pat

Good service and food. Free meals for kids before about 8.00pm, so it can get noisy - if you want a nice romantic meal - go a bit later on.

Gillian

Ate here twice service very good waiters very friendly look out for jean claude-van-damn look alike. Kleftico not what expected. However considering how busy they get still get looked after and prices are good.

Steve F

Eat here twice both times we were a Family of 15 and the Service was excellent as was the food. The waiters were very friendly. the bald Italian referree look-a-like vey so.

Tracey A

We ate here on several occasions as the food, service and atmoshere were excellent. They were very friendly toward children providing colouring pencils etc. during the meal. Good choice on the menu with efficient service.
