we went to moby d**k a couple of times for breakfast and a couple of times in the evening and we couldn't fault a thing ..the food was lovely everytime and the staff were great aswell.its right down by the beachfront.its lovely well worth going to and the kids love the playground there.

Barbara G  (17 October 2004)

We went here first night of our holiday, and kept going back. Good food, very good prices, especially for drinks. Kids play area to keep the young ones amused, and excellend service from all the staff, especially Karen, she was great! Its a bit out of the centre but you must try it if you go next year, we stayed at Tom and Johns which is just a few yards away, so okay for us. Love the litle cinnamon shots you get at the end of each meal!! Karen , sorry we couldn't make it the last night, the weather was just too bad to be so close to the sea, (from the large group of nutters, and the guy who has a main meal for starters!!!)

Katie A  (17 September 2004)

Really good breakfast food, dont know bout the dinner side of things? staff really friendly, right on top of the beach too, i would recommend it!

Matt F  (10 September 2004)

i though it was Average wouldnt reccoment it but it was ok

Jacey X (07 September 2004)

we loved moby d**k snack bar> staff were very attentive & welcoming. our photos were ruined does anyone have any pics?

Jodi M  (23 August 2004)

i love moby d**k and the service is great karen speros mickey and marios and the other waiter made us feel welcome xxx

Sian G  (16 August 2004)

Nice to go and have a drink after just coming up off the beach. Friendly staff there. Also, they have a child play area and a concreate version of a whale...with "Mopy Dick" on it. Slight Mis-spelling I think.

Jean B  (09 August 2004)

Ate atlunch time when we were wern't out and about doing other things
The food was good and the two waiters really nice and helpful. Great view of the sea. Never quite made it here in the evening but some of my family who did really liked it

Valerie W  (25 July 2004)

I liked the Cocktails at the Moby Snack Bar and if anyone is visiting there soon could you possibly find out what is in the cocktail Zante Dream as it is the best one i have tasted.

Nicola   (24 July 2004)

This was one of the cheapest restaurants we found in Tsilivi. Went for lunch quite regulalry - just rolled off the beach, but actually preferred it in the evening - sunset on the beach and a beer in an ice-cold glass - difficult to beat! The food is not out-of-this-world, but I enjoyed everything I had; the pizzas are great as are the Greek dishes like Stifades. Also liked their hoummous starter. The service was always great - everyone was really friendly. I would recommend this place for the atmosphere alone.

Audra S  (12 July 2004)

visited twice during our stay, both times for dinner, beautiful setting at the seafront, karen very nice and hospitable, and the reason for which we went back for another try, other waiters a bit slow on the service. both sets of meals were served cold and had to be re-microwaved, so didn't bother going back for a meal again, only a drink and ice-cream and to see the lovely karen.

good childrens play area.

Tony H  (09 July 2004)

Good for brecky but poor for dinner.

Jean M  (25 October 2003)

Went here mainly for lunch. Good food and a great view of the sea

Angie H  (22 September 2003)

Great place to relax and unwind. Beer in tall iced glasses, just what you want after a day in the sun. Bacon butty for breakfast is a must. Staff quick and friendly. Food good. Great if you have small children as there is a play area.

Jenny M  (12 September 2003)

cos it is so close to the beach, and so hot you just fall into here wanting to be re fuelled great for kids, with play area and hammocks to mess about in, fairly average food and average price.

Emma C  (11 August 2003)

We went here for breakfast, as it is next to the beach - can certainly recommend their bacon sarnies!!!!

M B  (23 July 2003)

Good place for a snack with friendly staff. Had a pizza which was really nice. Good location also. XXX

Maria E  (17 July 2003)

we have been visiting tsilivi for fice years now and have spent every evening in moby d**k for 'one for the road' (or 10!!). all the staff are great - especially spiros and karen and we have eaten there often and never had a poor meal (my fiancee swears they do the best stifado in tsilivi!!). if you're missing your veggies then just let karen know and she'll sort you out! yes there are kids running about but it is still very peaceful and relaxing and the measures are huge!

Sandra J  (22 June 2003)

Great play area for children, nice setting just off of beach.Lovely food, great service with a smile.

Liz R  (19 June 2003)

you've got to try the pizzas!!!! never hads better , even in uk.
great place for the kids, they can play on the park while you wait for your meal. Our kids also loved the burgers and chips. give it a try!!!!

Sue S  (12 October 2002)

Ate there several times both at lunchtime and in the evening. Tried a variety of meals which on the whole were generally good whilst not being exceptional. What was very good was the service and attitude of the staff and owner. Really nice people and very friendly. Would go there again if only for the company!

Matt N  (04 September 2002)

Great location near the beach. Ice cold Mythos at a good price. Varied menu offering something for everyone. Food is of a consistent quality without being exceptional. A reliable place to eat. I found the level of service to be exceptional - the best on Tsilivi (except for Candita's, of course).

Kevin H  (12 August 2002)

Great for families with young kids as they have a nice playground, but the food aint nothing to write home about & toilet seats were broken and shabby, certainly would'nt eat there again

Jim J  (11 August 2002)

Our 6 year old Beth loved the swings which gave us chance for a relaxing drink. We ate there first night (180702) and found it a good intro to Tsilivi

Michelle G  (11 August 2002)

Okay if you have very young children - lots of screaming toddlers ! Had cold moussaka which we sent back to be -re-microwaved (dodgy tummy next day). Lovely outlook but would stick to a drink only.

Mark J  (29 July 2002)

Just got back. Went in the lunch time after eating Tsilivi Restaurant night before and found the service very good. Great location by the beach and the Chicken Salad was good. The only downsider was there was a storm whist there so we weren't going anywhere for an hour or so. Def go back

Jennie H  (19 October 2001)

OK if you want to drink while the kids run wild but ordered the crab salad - turned out to be very expensive chopped up crabsticks, grilled salmon, over dry and tasteless and meatballs - ok but certainly not the best. As I said earlier maybe ok for parents looking to offload the kids but food and service definatly below that of all the other restaurants we visited

Michael W  (01 September 2001)

This place was fine, the food was good and there was a decent play area to keep the kid(s) busy as well. Watch out for the Metaxa Brandy at the end of a meal if you have one...or two. I'm sure it came in a pint pot. I can't really remember.

Emma T  (14 August 2001)

very good food by greek standards - the chicken slouvaki is wonderful and they do the best tomato salad in tsilivi Good for kids because there's a play area to keep them amused in the evenings, avoid if you don't like kids running around while you're trying to relax though

Des W  (08 July 2001)

Busy at lunchtimes as near the beach.

Gareth W  (08 July 2001)

GOOD FOOD QUICK AND FRIENDLY SERVICE WORTH A VISIT

Lynda F  (29 June 2001)

Didn't even get to try the food, waited ½ hour to be served then got up and went elsewhere.

Marilyn K  (23 June 2001)

we went there a couple of times and loved it there was places for the kids to play ... so you could eat in peace while the kids where happy.ID RECOMEND IT TO ANYBODY THAT ASKED!!!!!it was lovely!!!

Eleanor M  (12 June 2001)

We came here for breakfast most mornings, while we woke up, the kids played, ideal for lunchtime snacks and late afternoon beverages and a perfect way to finish the evening off, best place for the kids to meet local schoolchildren. Language is no barrier and Spiros and his staff give service with a smile.

Ian G  (02 June 2001)

The main reasons for going here are that its close to the beach, and it has a great selection of little Tikes play equipment. Food is pretty ordinary, but you could always just get a drink and let the kids run wild on the swings and slides.

Pete L  (14 May 2001)

Good play area for younger children if you want a bit of peace. Just by the beach and I had a go in a hammock. Chilled out 4 a bit while the mrs was on watch. Bliss!

Jennie B  (21 January 2001)

Just off the beach - £2-00 for full English breakfast- very nice.
