Green Frog

just spent 2 weeks in argassi and ate every night at the frog,brilliant food and entertainment.watched all the footie swigging a bottle or 2 of Mythos .will be back next july.all the best to John, Alex and Al from lin geoff and tyler x

Food was pretty good have to say wasnt overly impressed with the staff came across like they couldnt be bothered with us.

My best friend and i have just returned from a weeks holiday in argassi. Once we discovered the green frog (our third or fourth night) we returned every night for the rest of the holiday for cocktails and a game of pool. The staff are unbelievably welcoming and friendly, the food is lovely, there is entertainment every night and Alex's cocktails were delicious. I highly recommend "sex by the pool"  I miss the green frog already and can't wait to go back next year!
honestly, try it...you won't regret it.

We only ever tried the breakfasts here and if your looking for a typical english breakfast, look no further.

Hmmm...ok if you like your food of an English pub grub variety. We tried here on our first night in Argassi and were disappointed to find they had run out of Moussaka. Tried the Greek meze for starters which was nice (even the octopus in vinegar) but overall, this wasn't my kind of place. I can see it would be popular with its quiz nights and karaoke evenings for someone who is looking for that kind of thing. Service was unsmiling and generally of a who-gives-a-damn attitude. Maybe I chose the wrong night? 

Visited Green Froggy back in June. Iwill be biased in this view as Im obsessed with frogs!!!!!

Go here for your breakfast and you will not need anything else till your dinner - great food and very helpful staff 

i stayed at the windmill studios just up the hill from the green frog and we often ate there on our 2 week holiday! and you couldnt fault anything! the food was very nice! i reccomend the thai chicken or the village sausage! all the staff are very friendly and the shop next door is also very reasonable! look forward to going back there next summer! missing it already and have only been home 4 days! the best holiday ever

the green frog has a new chef and the meals and staff are excellent,looking forward to eating here again on sun 16th september. regards david campbell

Still one of the best places to eat in Argassi - with added bonus of play area for the kids.  Super hosts and relaxing atmosphere.  See you all next year!!!!

we went here most nights of our holidays as it was great food, service at all times, well worth a visit and we will be there again.

new york chicken is worth trying, realy nice meal.

great food and drink and lovely hosts.

Great play area for kids out the back and good service. Food not as great as I remembered it being when they were located next to Courser but hey ho.

Excellent food and service and the combination of shop, cafe, restuarant, bar and internet cafe is great. We had the Light breakfast a few times which was only 3.50 Euros and we had take away which was lovely. Only thing I didn't like was the entertainment 1 night was very Butlins, making grown up adults sing teletubbies is very sad!

place is very nice. drinks are very expensive lower your prices and stop ripping of us holaday makers

Hey Everyone, i went to the Green Frog nearly everynight! Its an amazing place to eat , listen to music or even sit down and have a drink with friends or family! i made some good friends over in Zante but the Friends i will never forget are the family that own the Green Frog, i highly recommend this place! Thankyou for all the Great memories!!!!!

I Miss You All

Heard great things about this place but was slightly disappointed after visiting. Food took a long time to arrive and the surf and turf was very poor. Ok for a snack but wouldn't recommend it for an evening meal

The Green Frog is great, we ate there four times in a week! Staff nice and helpful. Food excellent and the home made chips fab. The play area for the children is fantastic anybody visting Argassi should try the Green Frog at least once.

How long does it take mail posted in the UK to reach Zante? Does it go via Athens? Thanks

this season 2005 i had all my meals here by the green frog,  i could not have picked a better place, the food is the best the view is beautifull and the poeple are the greatest on the island. mandy and nick i want to thank you for all, not only this year, but the 15 years or so i know you all, you have done so much for me, i really want you to know i really apreciate everything.

We went to the Green frog and it was OK. If you are staying at the captains hotel or admiral its quite a long walk. The service is brill and the food is delivered quickly.

Proper english food is served here, if this is what you are looking for then youmust go, the food is delicious and plentiful.

food was brilliant ate here most of our holiday , our young 7 year old daughter loved the bouncy castle.
very friendly, lively atmosphere.
i would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys great food

 The Green Frog! John, Natasha, Alex, The Owner and the rest of the staff were great! The Food was amazing, we enjoyed it and miss the food. We ate their the seven days we were there from lunch to dinner. We didnt get up in time for breakfast! The service was excellent from all the staff including John who helped us alot, he took us to get a stereo, very friendly guy. The Owner was good and his son Alex very helpful, a very nice place in a great location. The price was also good too, it was well worth it. The pool table, air hocky table, table tennis, football pitch was great, along with sky sports news and mtv base. Last but now least Natasha was terrific, a very nice person and a really nice friend. She was good with all of us boyz and helped us alot (she knows who we are? The boyz from room 15 and 16). We wont forget her definetly! From Da Boyz of London (12th July to 19th July 2005)

Have to disagree with the last comment.the Breakfast is very below par compared to alot of the other places in the resort and you wait forever to be served and even longer for the food.

only visited the frog for brekkie or lunch(about 10 times)but every time was great.by far the best "fry up" we found.2 egg,2 bacon sausage,fried bread,toms,beans,black pud & FRESH MUSHROOMS!!!! all that plus toast,tea or coffee AND orange juice. 4.50 euros.if your wondering why fresh mushrooms is in capitals it's because most places used tinned ones for more than one dish ie garlic mushrooms & pizzas.i now despise tinned mushrooms!

the green frog is better than ever this season. there is lots for the family to do like quiz's and games but new this year is the giant bouncy frog (bouncy castle) table tennis, giant jengo and not forgetting the 5 a-side football pitch. so while the mums and dadds relax and enjoy their meals the children can play the night away

Bah, how dare they move this pub and not tell me!  Last time I was in Argasi was 2003, and it was near the 'Shroom.  Now it's moved to a more remote location outside the resort.  Didn't get to the new Frog, but I remember it as a decent little place.  Always remember it was there that me and a mate heard the news on the TV "Chelsea have been bought by Roman Abramovich......"   If only we'd known....  7/10

Food was terrible and service average.

Not bad at all, this place. Had great music on screen, was loving it til they put the footy on, arrrggghhh. Hubby had the mixed grill, he loved it, I had the Peppered Steak. Both great, with REAL CHIPS, methinks !

On arriving back to Zante we found the Green Frog had moved so off we went in search of it, and as before it failed to disappoint, beautiful place, excellent food and service, (just a tip - knock the apartments down over the road and the view would be fab).
