THIS CHINNESE YOU MUST TRY NICEST ONE I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE WHAT MORE CAN I SAY

Decorus   (03 August 2003)

It was quiet when we went in, but the staff got it just right, they were always there when we needed something, but didnt pester us. They were also really helpful.

A bit pricier than some of the other places, but worth it, as it was the only place we went to that had branded napkins and little wet wipes.

Food was good, but I had so much I couldn't finish mine. Then when we were done - we didnt have a long walk to the best of the night life!

It was the best chinese I went to on the island.

Helen K  (02 August 2003)

We ate at Bee Garden on a Friday night. Granted, it was very busy but all the staff worked their socks off! I food was lovely, better than some chinese meals I have had back home. We almost went back another night but we try not to eat in the same place twice.

Generally good food, good service and very reasonable prices.
Only down-fall (although we did laugh about it at the time) was the 2 dogs walking around the bar area when you're eating your meal- doesn't always install you with the greatest confiedence in their cleanliness.

Karl T  (27 July 2003)

The worlds best chinese restaurant. The set meal platter for one is unbeatable. Please open a branch in manchester. Staff even remembered us from last year.

Smithy S  (22 July 2003)

absoulty delicous food. probably the most expensive meal ud eat in zante but so worth it esp if u get the platter! shame bout t dogs running round!and very hot without a/c. all in all super!

Claire   (14 July 2003)

A brilliant chinese restaurant!

Anne S  (13 July 2003)

We returned home on 7th July after spending two weeks in Laganas. We ate at the Bee Garden at least four times and found the food, service and surroundings were excellant. There was six in our party and we all enjoyed the varied menu available. My favourite was prawn in oyster sauce.

Jill S  (10 July 2003)

Again one of the best chinese reataurants i've been to. portions are just the right size. staff are lovely and friendly and leave you to enjoy your meal without hassling you all the time.
definitely recommend. maybe a little more expensive than other restaurants but the standard of food served is well worth it.

Julie W  (09 July 2003)

My boyf and i ate at the Bee Garden twice during our holiday this year - after one of the guests staying at Tassia Studio's recommended it.
The food and service were both excellent and we will defo be eating there again when we return.
Many thanks to all the staff!

Shanne W  (30 June 2003)

Meal was too salty but overall the staff price and the food was good

Katie R  (23 June 2003)

All i can say is great great great!!!! The staff were absolutly lovely and the food was the best on the island. U have to try it, but beware once u'v had some ur gonna have trouble going anywhere else - it's that good!!!! Try the Bar-B-Q ribs!!!

Mick H  (27 May 2003)

Went here 17/5/03 and thought the food was fantastic. The service was very quick and the staff polite. In fact we like to take a while over our meal and so we just ordered drinks and staters first of all. The staff were OK with this. We later ordered out main meal which was on our table within 3 minutes of ordering it. Food here was much better than the Indian/Chinese restaurant on the Kalamaki road.

Mark N  (24 May 2003)

Thought the food was good until later that evening.missed a days holiday due to sitting in the bathroom. Also heard other people suffered the same peril that week. BEWARE

Faye H  (11 October 2002)

The food here was WOW!!! We came here a couple of times on our holiday. The service was great and the food was lovely. I definately would recommend the Szechuan Beef!!

Louise P  (06 October 2002)

We went to the Bee Garden for our last meal in Laganas. It was the end of the season so it was relatively quiet. We had a fantastic meal, the service was excellent. We had the meal deal for two which was about 35 euros. This included Spring Rolls (4) or Chicken Corn Soup. Beef Curry, Chicken Chop Suey, Sweet & Sour Pork, Special Fried Rice & Jasmine Tea. For the two of us it was too much to eat but we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Susan E  (18 September 2002)

Very nice, bit on the expensive side mind you, but hey I was on holiday!

Jakky M  (17 September 2002)

The comments below are spot on. We had a similar experience. Waited for about 20 mins for a menu, then left. We went back on a quieter night and actually got served. The food was quite good, but don't expect it to be like a decent chinese at home. (The Regent in Stirling).

Clare   (17 September 2002)

Was in Laganas for two weeks in August, went here on our third night and it was delicious, the prices are no more expensive than you would pay at home for a decent chinese! Well worth visiting, I can reccommend the Beef Satay it was lovely, quite spicey though compared to home! Service was second to none, meal was ready on the table in about 15 mins!

Toni C  (15 September 2002)

Dunno if it was because it was busy BUt it took us 20 mins to get a menu let alone anything to eat or drink. Our table was tucked around a corner and it felt like we was forgotten. When we did get to order a drink the waitress was a bit snotty about the wine we ordered but we got there in the end. The food was good but have eaten better out of 4 main course dishes 3 were served together but the last one took about 10 mins to arrive. The spring rolls were over cooked on outside and prawn crackers were ok for one person only. Nice place but I would try to avoid busy times and make sure ya get a table in main area of resturant.

Katie M  (09 September 2002)

This food was really excellent - if you like Chinese then you you'll love it here. The restaurant was full when we arrived but a table soon became available. It is a bit more expensive but worth it because of the quality of the food.

Greg H  (08 September 2002)

THE ABSOLUTE BEES KNEES ! WHAT A SUPERB RESTAURANT. COULDN'T FAULT THE FOOD OR SERVICE. I RECOMMEND THE MOOSHI PORK IT'S ABSOLUTELY DEVINE. A GREAT ALTERNATIVE TO HAVING THE LOCAL CUISINE. THIS PLACE IS A MUST !

Andy W  (02 September 2002)

This is the best chinese meal i ever has!! went three times in two weeks. my girlfriend said exactly the same. staff really friendly. not too pricey in my opinion,

Princess T  (30 August 2002)

Yumyumyum! This place is a bit pricey but well worth it. I recommend prawn crackers, egg fried rice and mushroom chow mein. Lovely food, lovely staff. They do take away too.

Katie J  (23 August 2002)

This place was brilliant, although a bit pricey. I recomend the spring rolls for starters and the jasmine tea for afterwards. Service was quick and very friendly. I wanted to go back every night, but mum and dad insisted only if i was paying!!

James Y  (23 August 2002)

One of the best meals we had in our 2 weeks, Tad expensive though.

Roderick J  (23 August 2002)

We ate here on our 2nd night, and loved the food and the promptness of service. We had starters and a selection of main courses to share between us. The Hot and Sour soup was brilliant, as was the Crispy duck and the pork dishes. A bit expensive, but well worth it as we left virtually nothing. I don't normally rate Chinese food, but this place is quality.

Paula J  (21 August 2002)

This was by far the best meal we had during our stay in Zante. There were ten of us and not one complaint.

Alex L  (08 August 2002)

Great, great, great. Ate here 4 times in 2 weeks - and my girlfriend is a fussy eater. Try it without fail. Staff were really good.

Gemma W  (07 August 2002)

lovely food and service, very well presented, and good value for money.

B J  (07 August 2002)

Sorry forgot to change the hand thing!!

B J  (07 August 2002)

This place is a must. The food was soooooooo nice.

Steven W  (05 August 2002)

couldn't agree more justin. the food was excellent and the staff were very friendly the wine flowed and the price wasn't to bad either

Justin G  (04 August 2002)

We visited the Bee Garden on two occasions during our trip to Laganas (after reading reviews on this site) and each time we were not left disappointed. Both the food and the service/friendliness of the staff were top draw. We sampled nearly every starter from the prawn crackers to the barbacue ribs and all were excellent. For the main meals we mostly stuck to the chicken dishes (ie with black bean, cashew nuts, lemon etc) and found them all to be really tasty. You can expect to pay the same for your meal in this country as you would there and admittedaily you can get food cheaper but if you want chinese food then this is the only place to go!

Suzanne F  (10 July 2002)

just come back from a weeks holiday, had a brill time. this restaurant was gorgeous and great value, one problem was that i was facing the kitchen door and a small white curly dog came running out!!!! - so someone didn't have their tea that night!!!!

Binky M  (27 June 2002)

We went here on our 1st night and had no regrets! Everything was excellent!!! God... I wanna go back!!!

Jill S  (25 June 2002)

It wasn't open when we first arrived in Laganas. My boyfriend go talking to one of the waiters one afternoon, said they were opening that night. gave him a menu and even though the prices were in drachma told him how to work out he prices! went back later that day. the food was excellent we only had a starter and main course but were stuffed at the end. all the staff were really friendly and for the rest of our holiday everytime we went by they would stop to talk to us. recommend it to everyone

Omar L  (24 June 2002)

The best chinese food in laganas,. the service was great. They are my friends now.

Kate H  (17 June 2002)

This was the nicest Chinese I've ever had. I had Chow Mein and my boyfriend had Singapore Noodles which came out in a lovely won ton basket. The portions were just enough and it wasn't too expensive considering the quality of food and service we received.

Joanne C  (14 June 2002)

great food good service and thats what we needed after some of the rubbish we had been eating

Debra G  (08 June 2002)

The food was beautiful, the service was excellent and the restaurant was very clean. It was a bit more expensive than some other places but well worth a visit. We had Spring Rolls,Chicken in garlic oyster sauce and sweet and sour chicken and we both had egg fried rice.

Vicky S  (03 June 2002)

Food really nice, service fast and friendly. Bit pricy though our most expensive meal of the week.

Anna R  (26 October 2001)

The best chinese restaurant we have ever eaten at in Greece, fast service, friendly people and gorgeous food!! We loved it and would have definately gone back if we had another week of our hols left.

Bod B  (11 October 2001)

Five of us went and had a banquet which was very tasty. We included crispy duck with pancakes which was a bit different to how you get it back home. The duck comes as a sliced breast with the fat on, not crispy. Probably the most expensive meal we had whilst there for two weeks - it's about the same price that you would pay for chinese food back home. If you want to try chinese food I would recommend this place. Staff friendly also - get there early as does get busy.

Shab   (29 September 2001)

Sorry forgot to change the thumbs up

Shab   (29 September 2001)

We mainly have the Duck and pancakes but the beef and green pepper is to die for! Very friendly staff but get their early as it get's very busy

Ray G  (29 September 2001)

Out of my 14 meals in Laganas this was by far the most expensive one. The food was good but I've tasted much better back home. The black bean sauce gave me an ulcer because it was so salty. The service was good though and the banana fritters make up for the rest!

Diane E  (08 September 2001)

My mate & I both had vegetarian options which were delicious. As others have said, expect to pay a bit more than anywhere else but it is certainly worth it.

Sarah R  (07 September 2001)

Me and my boyfriend went to the Bee Garden twice. We are mad fans of Chinese food and this was absolutely gorgous, it seemed quite expensive as the rest of the food in Greece is cheapish, but it is no more than what you pay for Chinese in England. Well worth a visit.

Tina T  (01 September 2001)

Went here twice because the fod was gorgeous. The service was spot on and the lemon chicken is a dream.

Rachael B  (27 August 2001)

Absolutely gorgeous food and very quick friendly service.

Chris M  (20 July 2001)

Excellent food, very efficient service, friendly staff, attractive and clean restaurant. Ate their twice even though it was a little more expensive than other places on the island because the food was so good.

Colin C  (06 July 2001)

THE FOOD WAS WELL COOKED AND PRESENTED.VERY EFFICIENT STAFF.NICE AND CLEAN (THE LOOS REALLY NICE...WELL THE LADIES ANYWAY ACCORDING TO MY WIFE).WELL WORTH A VISIT.

Bad G  (03 July 2001)

The food here was excellent - we had a set meal for two and it was delicious. This restaurant is most definately worth a visit.

Matt B  (16 June 2001)

The Bee Garden is a MUST to anyone. The food was absolutely glorious, we both had Sizzling Garlic Chicken a starter each and a drink and it cost 11300dch, about 22 quid, not the cheapest meal on the menu by no means but well worth the money

Cathryn P  (24 April 2001)

The food and the price was just excellent, what more can we say.

Jayne K  (26 March 2001)
