I may never forgive you for being closed the one day I managed to make it for breakfast, but otherwise you guys have done a fantastic job with the bar, it's now a Real Strings-Themed bar with guitars poking out oif every orifice.
If anyone's not been it's well worth checking this bar out, just off the main drag but lively as anything. And a Real stage with Real musicians! Every Night!

you really have to check these guys out, the music is Excellent and spanky the monkey on drums is just a must to see?.the drinks and cocktails are good and the cute blond bar maid is an angel. they do an Excellent English breakfast as well.
so if you like a good verierty of music and good beer and a laugh then pay them a must visit.

What a fantastic bar - Music brilliant (even better when Roses added to playlist) , Barmaids - best on island without exception. Cocktails - Had so much Sex on the Bar I should be added to sex offender register. If you are looking for a bar in Laganas to chill out in look no further. Look forward to seeing you all next year.

That must be Ben & Sam?? You wish you had more birds that Bernard Matthews - if I remember rightly you waited until the girls went home and then just told everyone you'd been with them! You know who I mean Sam! I think poxy office work is what you both deserve - have fun. I'll give Laganas a 'Hi' for you when I get back.

I happend to love the bar, as Myself and Sam used to work here and we got stuck into more birds in one summer than Bernard Matthews manages in a decade of Christmases. We're still both working together, but it is in some poxy office in London these days - nowhere near as many tarts and they're a bit funny when we whip out the tequila at 5 o'clock on a friday.
Go here as often as you can - lovely peple, great laughs. If anyone remembers us, get in touch as we're desperate for contact!

i love la bamba!!! its ded good! i went when i was about 10/11 and we know mike (the owner) now - we've been there 3 times and this is our 4th time. im 16 by the way....17 nxt yr. im goin with my m8 and my mum n dad nxt yr, shud b really good! i will have a fab time!! ta - see ya! xxx.

Hi Katie, I've never beento Jimmy's Apts or the Aries pool but if you don't like it try the Havana (just past Reptile Saloon & take a left, I've heard it's nice there and it's central. If you're quite a distance out, try the Blue Lagoon pool/bar just up by Dia supermarket. When Strings shuts at about 2.00 am(ish) try La Bamba, then off to Chiellos and then Ocean. By the time you get there you won't know if it's any good or not!!! I'm so jealous - have a fab time.

Oh right! cool, i'll have a treck down there then and have a look at it!! Should be a great laugh. Got anymore bars or anything that you reccommend because we are deciding to go to more places than strings and rescues this time!! Have you ever been to jimmy's apts at all? Hi Katie, head along the Kalamaki Road, it's opposite a restaurant called Georgio's (don't go - the staff are obnoxious!). If you can't find it ask anyone in Strings (Russ, if you can find him he works at Travellers through the day). Say hi to them for me!

Hi Katie, Just to let you know Scott & Neil are leaving Zante at the end of October this year - they'll be a big miss in Laganas! Strings still lives on though - pop down to see Mark and the boys from Bomba Blue. Have a great time!

Went to Laganas in july and september this year. Yeah Neil and Scott do still work there.

This place is class. The fishbowls are the way forward, a bar mans special is all you need to start your night! Free shots are a bonus

The beer and cocktails in here were cheap,so we liked it and the location as it was the first pub by our apartments- the cheeky vimto's are totally wicked. The lads in here were cool as well,the free shots just topped it off.

Go to this place for really strong, cheap drinks. We got totally hammerd in here every night!1 The staff inside were great butthe PR's outside were full of s**t and only after one thing! Don't bother though, my mate did and was well disapointed!! See you next year Neil and Scottxxx

Sam here! worked here last year PRing for this place. Go and have a drink here - great live music. Give Baz a game of pool and tell Neil he looks like George Michael...guaranteed to get you a few free shots. A big hello to Baz, Jill, Terry, Sandra, Scott and Neil from Woody and Sam. Well worth a visit to listen to the band Bomba Blue.. every Tuesday and Thursday from 9ish. This band were total entertainment and very good on their guitars. Strings is quite small so its very intimate which adds to a great atmosphere. The cocktails were cheap but some did taste watered down.... dont let that put you off! Pay the place a visit... Go on, you know you want to!

not a music filled pub but the owners and staff seemed really nice and the coctails were strong, especially washed down with three free strong shots each!!!

ello!! just got bk from laganas and it was totally wicked! i wanna go bk, n e way, strings has got 2 b the best bar in laganas and if u go u have 2 try a creole (cocktail) they r gorge! and as 4 the barmen! well they r the best ive ever met! if u c this neil n scott hiya! its jemma n katie (u no the creole's and aftershock girlz!) neil is very very very fit, and so is scott and whatever u do neil, stop begging 4 a s**g! n e ways got to go, plz go here its really great (if u go tell neil n scott hi! thx) love katie n jem.

always went there after midnight so there was no music, apparantly side show bob played there and sang cheesy boyzone and rod stewart songs. the boys that work there are quite funny but don't be fooled into going to cameo with them! top tip: don't beg for a s**g, it doesn't work - you know who you are! the couple who own it are lovely and the drinks are nice and strong - free shots too, which is a novelty!

This club is brilliant and if you come from Wolverhampton and you go in there it is even better, the staff are really friendly. Ian who worked on the street last year for them is really cool hope to see you there next week Ian we will be coming on the 24th June and i am celebrating my 19th.

This bar is a must if you visit laganas.Try the long island ice teas if you dare!!!!

Black country hospitality par excellence, Good friendly atmosphere due to family ownership, Maitre D' Festus on the door, The only bouncer paid to throw people in! Plus Neil & Scott to keep the young Ladies moist...
