Angels Bar - (Bars in Kalamaki)

Nicky D  (24 July 2002)

We went to Kalamaki on 2nd July to 16th July 2002. We had been in the Angels bar one night and had quite a good laugh. Stuart and Steve were on form. We then went a second night which was a good laugh, me and my friend Emma got rather drunk and Emma took Stuarts cap and we ran off with it that night. Emma took it home washed it because it smelt, and we took it back to him the next night. Stuart then barred me and Emma for the rest of the holiday from going in to the bar. Which made us laugh, I think Stuart needs to get a sense of humour, it's wasn't the end of the world. He did do us a huge favour though as we discovered the Down Under Bar which is without a doubt the best bar in Kalamki, Angels bar doesn't come close.

Michaelos - (Restaurants in Kalamaki)

Nicky D

Didn't find this restaurant until the second week, a couple of friends that we had met took us there. This place is definately the best restaurant on the island. The food was outstanding and the service was great. A definate place to visit if you go to Kalamaki.

Down Under - (Bars in Kalamaki)

Nicky D  (24 July 2002)

Hi guys hope you are all well. Anyone that goes to Kalamaki has to visit the Dowm Under Bar, all the lads are so friendly and entertaining. All the guys, Leon, George, Carl, Nick, and Ziszis made our holiday. Have to say Leon and George made our holiday abit more special as we spent more time talking to them than the other guys. Myself and Emma will definately be coming back. None of the bars back in England come close to this bar, (we keep waiting for the ice cubes) and they don't have men as georgous as Leon working in them. I don't think I can add any more that hasn't already been said. You will be really missing out if you don't go and visit this bar, and anyone that doesn't like it must be mental. If you get a chance email me back please all our love Nicky & Emma. Nicky.Davies@odpm-dft.gsi.gov.uk

White House Apartments - (Accommodation in Kalamaki)

Nicky D  (24 July 2002)

I can't believe these comments. The appartments were so small we were suppose to have three people in them, unfortunetly one of the girls couldn't make it. We had two beds and a camp bed, which I couldn't quite work out where it would have gone if we had needed it. We arrived on Tuesday 2nd July 2002 and we didn't see the cleaners until the Saturday, and it was really hot. The next time the cleaners came was the following Tuesday, they then came to empty the bins every day after that but we didn't receive clean sheets or towels until that Sunday and only because we had a moan to out rep. The cleaners left the patio door wide open one day and then on a seperate occassion they left the front door open. The toilet was disgusting it never flushed properly. I would recommend you stay well clear of these appartments.
