Tom and John - (Accommodation in Tsilivi)

Jim J

First of all in answer to Craig the sunbeds were free round the pool but you have to pay for those on the beach. We returned from Tom and Johns last Thursday the 8th August after a wondeful 3 week holiday. First time in Zante but we will be booking same next year. Tom and John are two great guys and all their staff are polite and courteous. The accomodation was Greek and no one should expect English standards or even the standards of Spain and Portugal. We were happy with our studio and large balcony. A must was the air conditioning which cost 8 euros per day. The resort is full of excellent restaurants and bars. We have no critisism of any of the bars and eating houses. The 2 earthquakes (5.2 and 4.7) were a bit worrying but a great experience. All in all a great time for me my wife and 6 year old daughter Beth. A final word for the Manos rep. Claire. She dealt with problems as though they were her own. Visited twice, the first was the night of the 5.2 earthquake. Food was good and price first class. The waiters were excellent with our 6 year old.

Will eat again when we visit next year.

We ate here twice and chose it for our last night meal which says a lot when you consider the excllent quality of all the other places we ate.

Contessina - (Restaurants in Tsilivi)

Nice location to eat on the busy Popeye corner, watching the world go by.

Gyroland Menu - (Restaurants in Tsilivi)

Unfortunately my wife's meal had not arrived when I had almost finished mine. I stopped eating, being a gentleman and enquired where my wife's meal was. Clearly it had been forgotten but instead of admitting that the waiter who took the order tried to tell us they were waiting for the chicken to cook. This despite two tables, who ordered after us being served before my wife with the same meal. Ah well not bad as this is really the only complaint out of 21 nights eating out.

Koukos - (Restaurants in Tsilivi)

Jim J

We chose to eat here on a Tuesday not knowing it was Greek night. What a bonus the music and dancing was first class. Beth our 6 year old was mesmerised and loved the bit where they dance out on the roadway. Recommend the lamb chops.

Lifetime Beach Bar - (Bars in Tsilivi)

Jim J

Excellent for snacks whilst on the beach. Also a good shower at the back to ghet rid of all the sand.

Majestic - (Restaurants in Tsilivi)

Jim J

Ate here twice and enjoyed all put before us.

Moby Dick - (Restaurants in Tsilivi)

Jim J  (11 August 2002)

Our 6 year old Beth loved the swings which gave us chance for a relaxing drink. We ate there first night (180702) and found it a good intro to Tsilivi

Passage to Asia - (Restaurants in Tsilivi)

Jim J  (11 August 2002)

It was ok but more interest in clearing tables for next sitting when busy. Most expensive place we ate in.

Popeyes - (Restaurants in Tsilivi)

Jim J

Take no notice of the quality gradings as we never ate there. With so many excellent eating houses we did not feej inclined to queue. We did have morning coffee before being picked up for a trip. Proper percolated (sic) and free refills.

The Cats Whiskers - (Restaurants in Tsilivi)

Jim J  (11 August 2002)

Only went once towards the end of our holiday on recommendation of people we met who dined there most nights. Found a good varied menu and the food we had was good.

The Troc - (Restaurants in Tsilivi)

Jim J  (11 August 2002)

Only found this place towards the end of 3 weeks eating greek food. Excellent though our food had been I had steak pie chips peas and gravy and my wife had bangers, mash and onion gravy. Excellent but I think they should advertise more as we only found it after being given a flier on the beach.
