Venus Hotel - (Accommodation in Kalamaki)

My family and I took a short break here for four days and it was one of the best Greek Hotels we had ever been to. The food served in the snack bar was excellent and the staff were not only multinational but polite and very welcoming. The manaagement were very accomodating when we asked if we could eat breakfast in our room as our 2 year old was a little too boisterous early in the morning. Well, this is what you would expect from loyal Panathanikos supporters! Excellent location, room, faclities & pool. Would recommed to anyone and can't wait to back again.

Parthenon Restaurant - (Restaurants in Kalamaki)

Top class restaurant who really know how to look after you, especailly if you've got little ones, they take the time out to entertain them. Food is very good and the service is always with a smile, typical Greek hospitality.

First Restaurant that we went into when we got there and we were not in the least disappointed. Superb food and very good service. Again, patient with little ones and really tried hard to ensure you are well looked after.

Pandesia - (Restaurants in Kalamaki)

This restaurant served the best kleftiko that I have had yet. Not as patient as other ones if you have little ones; our meal was spoilt a bit by one of the waiters chastising another who got the orders a bit wrong (so what? relax?), in full view of all the diners. Apart from that, was quite good.

Kennys Bar - (Bars in Kalamaki)

I have read some of the comments about Claudes and like the previous one, where do you start? This place is like a home from home and just when you need to have some really genuine yorkshire food, this is THE place to go. We had one meal in there and this place puts some traditional restaurants back home to shame. The John Smiths tastes like it is piped fresh out of Tadcaster, the teas and coffees are second to none. Apple pie? beyond compare. The obvious hard work that goes into giving you a top class yorkshire welcome spills over into Claude's humour (check out the storyboard at the front). This place prompted an immediate phone call back home to my extremly hard like yorkshire in-laws as we were so impressed.
If there is ever a corner of England (i.e. Cas) that will ever be green, then Claudes is that place. Check it out, you will NOT be disappointed, must for all Yorkshire folk and them like me that has been naturalised!

We wished to god that we had found this place earlier. As another review wrote. This place is the best if you have kids. The food was really good and the children's play area for keeping our two year old happy was a god send. Please can you have some mustard in next time we come for the already 1st class burger!
