nice people running the show,they try very hard,my friend was quite hungover one morning and paula sent over good old scrambled egg on toast-it worked!i have little kids and she was helpful and gave us plastic cups(instead of glasses)and proper toast-well done!

just got home yesterday and i am missing my fave cocktails already(furry sausage wallets)everyone in heatwave is great and tassi was one of the only men in alykes that my 2 year old would chat to!it was my fave bar in 2001 and it still is! keep up the good work!xx

just returned home from 2 weeks staying at sydney and we thought they were very good,there were five of us so it was a bit cramped.best location for midnight strolls on the beach and very,very clean-they even washed up anything(unintentionally)that we had left to wash up later!I would definately stay there again!

i would consider the Apollo for my next stay in Alykes but the big apartment is up a few too many steps,but the pool is great and Dimitri is such a top bloke(good geezer!)he likes lots of noise so we abide!we had a day of rain this year and we spent it round the Apollo pool bar and still had a good laugh!(even if he does like to get you drunk by offering free tequilla!)if you want peace and quiet these may not be the right apartments!if you want noise,fun and laughter-they will be!

great food here and you don't haveto go too far for cocktails after!we had our cheapest meal here,for 3 adults and two children it was 29 euros!and that was with wine aswell.too much choice not enough time!thanks all for a great time!

service was great-they even had little kids size cutlery and plastic plates,chilled red wine was gorgeous and the best mashed potato i've ever had!super!

we ate here 3 time in 14 days(it was quite a long walk from apollo 1 in alikes near our apartments!)the food was gorgeous-our friend nikos(chef)recommended Kleftiko but we couldn't face such a huge amount of food so opted for sole(yummy!)great value for money,very welcoming staff-good to see them all again!kids loved it and so did we.

we had bit of mix up on our return because greek coach boss forgot to tell driver where to pick up rep-but the driver was very good on his own!you haveto go with the flow most of the timeand some of the reps are quite young and don't need grief over silly things.the egg and chips brigade should stay at home!i'd go with manos again!

ended up most nights in the apollo pool bar and even manged to end up greek dancing with a couple of locals,i'm not going to miss campari or sambuca that's for surenot too convinced about the eye candy for the guys behind the bar-especially when it means you wait longer for your drinks because she doesn't know what you want.it's always better when dimitri works the bar.hopefully back again next year(with the apartments full up with partyloving english!).wendy,steve,samantha,lily,lucy
