Not sure what happened last time, but there's nothing average about this bar! Ignore my previous comments!!!!!

Athena Studios - (Accommodation in Argassi)

We've just returned from a fab two weeks in Argassi at the Athina Apartments! They are basic, but better than some we've stayed in over the past years! The owners, especially Yiannis and Mika are lovely, takes some time to get them talking, but had a great laugh with them by the second week of the holiday.
The pool area, although quite small, is kept clean and tidy. They definitely pride themselves on the pool!
Only five minutes walk away from the small beach and the same to the shops, bars and restaurants, yet very quiet!

Tried this restaurant the last night of our holiday and had a good meal. The service was a little slow, but quite a relaxed pace.

Enjoyed having chinese for a change, but the food wasn't great and neither was it bad. Best part of the meal was the ice cream!

Ate at this restaurant several nights, and each meal was great. The prices were excellent and the quality of food was fantastic. We were given half a litre of wine free, which really reduced the cost of the meal!
Would return here again, because the menu had some many different dishes to try.

Premier - (Restaurants in Argassi)

Ate here for 3 nights and one lunch and generally thought this was a good restaurant. We were a little disappointed on our last visit when the service was dreadful. However, the food was alwasy of good quality, especially the lamb pasta and chciken souvlaki.

Afrodite - (Restaurants in Argassi)

We ate here one evening and found the service to be very efficient, if not a little hurried. The food was ok, although not memorable as we couldn't tell you what we had and we only ate there a week ago.

Poseidon (old) - (Restaurants in Argassi)

We didn't like this restaurant in the slightest. The hassle to go in was annoying and constant over the two weeks we were there, we only ate there once and that was enough.
The food was greasy and that's all that can be said. We found the menu limited and what we thought we're going to be traditional greek meals were slung together slop. Stuffed peppers, with cheese and oil, yuck! Once tried never again.

Double - (Restaurants in Argassi)

Our first meal at Tiffany's was a lunch time. Peter made us very welcome without any sales pitch. The food was fine on this lunchtime, the service was provided by Peter (aka Inspector Clouseau).
We returned one evening, once again with no sales pitch, but found the whole experience entertaining and surreal as Peter and his son(?) desparately tried to get people into the restaurant! Some of the best entertainment we witnessed on the Island!
The food was bland and didn't live up to our expectations from appeared to be a traditionally run greek family restaurant.
On this occassion the service was hurried and not professional. This was the only time plates were cleared before the whole had been finished. Must have wanted us out of there!
Generally seemed that the restuarant targetted larger people and wanted as many people as possible eating there, at the expense of other diners.
