Aspassia Studios - (Accommodation in Tsilivi)

Ylona S

Urgent!
I called Thompson about these studios and they gave me a good price and a little picture however that is it, for some reason they cannot give me more details other than its got a pool, and fans for hire.
Now anyone who has been there could you please answer this for me.
On their one webpage it says there is satellite tv - does each unit got a tv set?
What does the studios consist of? Are there twin beds, bath or shower etc?
Does it get cleaned regularly, how much does the fan hire cost per day?
Is it very noisy late at night(we are going mid sept)

Please reply asap as i have to confirm the booking tomorrow or decline their offer.

I cannot understand why they cannot give me more info??

Benikos - (Restaurants in Tsilivi)

Ylona S

We just got back from Tsilivi and Benikos is our fav restaurant. The food were fantastic and great atmosphere too. The owner is a Greek Version of Gordon Ramsey in the sense that he wants everything to be perfect so is on top of his staff 24/7, they made us feel so welcome. I had the Beef Youvetsi and it was absolutely amazing.

You did have to wait a while but they do say that on their menue as they prepare meals when they are ordered and none beforehand.

Ark Bar - (Bars in Tsilivi)

Ylona S

We LOVED this bar and was so surprised by it, thought Nicholas and George where the best bartenders in the world so so so so funny. Cocktails were only Eur 3.50 - 4.00 and they gave all the people sitting around the bar free shooter at least twice in two hours not to mention they set the bar on fire literally using sambuca etc. Wild place!! Agree on the DJ playing smutty music doesn't suit the place.
It is worthwile to go just to see George and Nico (who is gorgeous)

Anetis Hotel - (Accommodation in Tsilivi)

Ylona S

Also just got back from staying in the Anetis, also booked ourselves only EUR 27.00 per night.
Loved it but...we would change a few things if we could...

It is so so so close to the beach which is fantastic, the building is a tad run down or perhaps just look empty as there were not many guests and also it says there is a restaurand and fishbar or something but the only action we saw foodwise was the Lifetime Beachbar which is theirs also.

We were a bit disappointed as we were told breakfast is included, only to find out it is at the bar and it consists of a coffee and two pieces of toast for EUR3, not too worry we just went next door to the Iakinthos restaurant and got brekkie for EUR3 which includes a fry up - lovely.

The rooms are great and clean with a fridge etc. I would suggest people take a travel kettle for coffee or tea in the room at least other that that the location just makes it.

The owners were friendly but not very informative, they didn't book us in, just handed a key and when we left overcharged us by one day cos we left at 6pm. Maybe if the hotel was fuller we wouldn't feel so isolated.
Anyway I would tell people to go there definitely, great little place but don't expect any 5 star luxury, this hotel is family run and is basic but you would love it.
