St Denis Apartments - (Accommodation in Tsilivi)

I am going to St dennis next Aug and was wondering where the apartments are located, Is it in a fairly quiet part of the resort? Is it overlooked by any major roads? That sort of thing. Any help anyone can offer would be gratfully recieved. Many thanks in advance!!

Hi Colin Thanks so much for your comments. I was getting really worried, had a really negative report regarding the whole area and apartments on holiday truths so was releved to hear your comments. We have booked a two bed appt on an upper floor, and made a request for pool view, would you recommend we ask for any specific part of the accomodation to avoid the music? again many thanks in advance

I arrived back from St Dennis (5/8/06)  I would have to say i saw no detritus at all in the pool and did see the pool man cleaning and testing the water, yes he has a dog but i heared no barking from him. The apartments are a little basic but if you have been to greece before this is expected and yes there were ants but again you are in a hot climate and i always expect them!! They have(as do all greek island) small lizards buy they never get into the appartments. I saw no evidence of rats. The apartments have no aircon and fans are 2.00 Euros a day. The apartments were cleaned daily, the drains do smell sometimes but again we are visiting Greece and again because of there Sewage system you are bound to get some smells!!   The reception staff are quite sweet but i have to agree Demitrius is a little immature but not offensive at all.We allways arrived home by about 1AM and heared no noise at all.  If you hire a car go to sandra at theo's rentals and she will give you a great map that she will mark with all the places to visit, she was really helpfull and very sweet. You must visit the Paradise bar even if it is only  once(You must never leave) The resort itself is really nice. the people are genuine and kind. My favorite beach is Zorro if you can find it. The shipwreck is a bit nothingy!! Do not go for the day it is too hot. the sand is like razor blades and the sea is too strong to swim, i think the fouty minute drop off is plenty. The Village of Bochall is lovely with the best views of Zante town & port you will ever see.I love Greece and i really liked Zante. i would go again after i have visited the rest of the greek islands!!!

We hired the can from sandra at Theo's rentals, The car was nearly new, immaculate and sandra provided us with a great map which she had marked to makesure we got to see everything worth seeing on the island. I have to say it was a good little car but it struggled up a few of the hills with all four of our family in the car but i felt safe driving it. Sandra was a great help and we visited her a few times for advise on directions and she always chatted to us about our day.I would thourougly recommend Theo's Car Rentals and especially recomend you visit Sandra, the car cost 250.Euro's for ten days.

Water Village - (Places to Visit in Zante)

The water park is Ok, Sunday is the best day to visit as it is a big resort change over day so l;ots of people leaving Sundays, There were no queue's the day we went. There are a few slides, a lazy river and a few rides to use rings on. Plenty of free loungers though. I would not go for the whole day again but would just go for half a day. That was plenty.
