Admiral Hotel - (Accommodation in Argassi)

Nikki K

We arrived back from Zante on Sunday having stayed for 2 weeks. Appartments were small and basic but very clean. Staff were friendly and Paul is a complete nutter!(but fantastic). Its a great place for people to stay with young families as they are constantly entertained. The location of the appartments is ideal as to access anywhere is just a short walk, no need for taxi's. Have to mention the Pheonix and the Big Plate, both very good places to eat out, also the Factory, which is like a club pub, very lively and good fun.
Word of advice, don't buy any sun lotion before you go or most toiletries, its cheaper out there. I would also like to mention our rep from Olympic Holidays, Jason, he was great, full of information, very helpful.
All in all a brilliant place to stay, clean, friendly and good fun.

September - (Best Time to Visit)

September is a great time to go. Lovely hot days and nice cool evenings. On a couple of evenings it was a bit windy but overall perfect weather.

Blue Caves and Shipwreck Cruise - (Zante Excursions)

We went on the island trip on the Delfini - no way is that boat 2 years old!!! more like 20! If we had taken the trip on the Alexandra - or fast boat, the trip would have been much better. Our boat was filthy, the toilet is disgusting and the food is just minging. The trip cost us 13 euro's each, which for what you saw on the tour (had we seen it all) would have been value for money. However we did not stop to see turtles at turtle island and did not stop at the shipwreck as tide was out and too dangerous to stop! we did stop for 3 swims, and stopped on 1 of these on a beach - you need feet of steel! lots of pebbles!!
So book the trip - Alexandra or Fast Boat - avoid the Delfini.
