Pandesia - (Restaurants in Kalamaki)

Absolutely loved this place!  Came last September and couldnt wait to get back.  Was there only last week.  The prices are a steal and the Spaghetti Caruso is to die for!!  Have never had a bad meal in this restaurant, always found the staff polite, looking forward to going again as soon as I can!  Would not recommend the caraf of wine (white or red), stick to bottled.  Apart from that cannot fault it.

Caretta Beach Holiday Village - (Accommodation in Kalamaki)

Recently back from our third visit to Kalamaki and the Caretta Beach Hotel.  Very friendly staff who made us feel very welcome when we arrived (minus a suitcase that had remained in Manchester!).  It was really nice to be remembered.  We stayed on the quiet pool side where it really is great.  The rooms are fabulous, very well kept and contain everything you need with a lovely balcony to enjoy the evening sun.  Would fully recommend this place to anybody wishing to holiday on Zante.  We like it soooo much, cant wait to get back!!

Had two very enjoyable meals here.  My boyfriend likes Indian, hot vindaloo and they made the dish for him exactly as he likes it!  Me, I prefer Chinese, thoroughly enjoyed my spring rolls and sweet and sour chicken.  The service was very friendly and the food excellent.  The best I found for Chinese out of the three on the main road.

This is our favourite restaurant in Kalamaki, always our first and last of our visit and usually a few times in between!  You will not beat it for value for money and the food is excellent.  Was nice to see and talk to the staff again, keep up the good work everyone, hope to see you very soon!

Blue Caves and Shipwreck Cruise - (Zante Excursions)

Kate F

Was a lovely trip.  We took ages to decide who to book with after reading other people comments!!  We booked with Smile Tours on the Kalamki road just past the Mermaid n Soda Bar.  The English girl was very helpful and not at all pushy, the bus picked us up on time from the office and off we went.  As mentioned by others, the beach at the Ship Wreck is stones, it really hurts your feet!  Make sure you have some kind of swim shoes, you will need to paddle slightly to get off the boat!  The colour of the sea will take your breath away.  A very enjoyable day.  We booked the half day trip at for 15 euros, this was from 9 til 4, and was long enough, was hoping to see some dolphins but unfortunately did not

A very good grip.

An all round great place!  Very friendly with very hard working staff.  A nice place to laze and have an afternoon beer or two, then pop back later for a snack and a cocktail!  Would recommend the omlettes and cheeseburgers.... mmmmmm!!  See you soon!
