We have just returned from 2 glorious weeks in Alikes and have to say the service we got from Aggelos and his wife was second to none!

I arranged all the details over the internet and Aggelos was at the gate to meet us at the airport,as promised the Kia Picanto was brand new with 30 Kms. on the clock.

We were unfortunate to meet a gang tarring the road who managed to throw the tar all up one side of our lovely new car. As we were near to Tsivili we called at Euro Alfa to report it and ask if we should have it removed but Maria said not to worry about it and offered to wash the car there and then or return anytime to use the washing facilities.

I also recomended Aggelos to another couple who were taking delivery

of a car from the local car hire firm. The vehicle was an old Suzuki Swift which the same firm had tried to palm off to us in September ,it had a slipping clutch and was in a state of neglect and had turned up half a day late!

On seeing our new car they rejected the Suzuki and I arranged for them to speak Aggelos who promised a new Picanto at 10.30 next morning.True to his word he arrived at 10.25 with a brand new car and his price was 100 euros less with the best insurance deal on the island.Thank you Aggellos for everything ,We can't fault your service. Akis Studios - (Accommodation in Alykes)

We have just returned from 2 lovely weeks at the Akis,this after enjoying our 1 week in September so much.On arrival we found we had the same apartment (6) which we intended to request anyway as the front balcony has a good sea view and looks over the entrance to the complex so you can watch all the comings and goings,it also gets the sun all morning which is lovely as you sit and eat your breakfast.The rear balcony overlooks the pool and bar and is a sun trap after lunchtime.The flat is basic but kept very clean with bedding and towels changed twice a week. The owner Viviene is a gem and can't do enough for you, she is a good cook and her prices are fair.How she can work so many hours beats me,opening at 8am and closes at midnight 7 days a week! She is assisted by her daughter Katerina when she is not at school ( hope you passed your exams o.k.)We can recommend Akis for a quiet relaxing break as there is an 11pm noise curfew inAlikes
