Zante Star Hotel - (Accommodation in Tsilivi)

Does the Zante Star have Air Conditioning? Never been to Zante and going in September. Friend told me that it was nice but his accomodation had no A/C and it was really uncomfortable sometimes.

Zante Star Hotel - (Accommodation in Tsilivi)

We were at the Zante Star between 4th and 18th September.  Thoroughly recommend the place.  Accommodation is spotlessly clean and tidy.  The rooms are very nice (recommend balcony view as the inland views can be a bit too close to the cockerels in the morning).  The bar and lounge areas are spacious and well kept.  Special mention for the pool area though, the water was incredibly clean and always inviting.

Although S/C, food is served right up until 5.30pm and it’s all excellent, we should know, we tried damn near everything on the menu!

Evening entertainment was a cracking laugh, especially the Greek night.  The quiz and race night was excellent too.  There are plenty of communal books and magazines (left by departing holidaymakers) for those that really want to chill out.

Having seen other accomodation in passing whilst out and about, and seeing many more on our coach transfer to return home, it merely confirmed what this site had told us before we departed - that we’d booked by far the best accommodation in Tsilivi.

All in all, it’s a really clean, nicely designed, laid back and friendly place to stay.  Many thanks to Jannis and his hard-working daughters/staff (especially Irene and Irina), you made our stay one to remember for all the right reasons.

Must mention the dog Mikkee too, what a character.
