Macedonia Hotel - (Accommodation in Kalamaki)

I booked a holiday to Zante in Sept 04 and First Choice have advised me today 16/06/05 that my appartment choice has been changed due to an overlook in the brochure. what i would like to know is the location of macedonia Hotel with regards to cavo d'oro Hotel as myself and my wife picked the cavo d'oro due to its central location for our holiday needs ? had a 25 euro all in meal,no taste at all to it,there were a three couples in the place kissing and touching and the staff just let them carry on and did nothing,bad lanuage swearing etc just ignored,no control and not at all ejoyable,in fact a waste of an hour

booked a holiday in september 2004 paid �1200 pound for 2 weeks in cavo doro hotel,two weeks before departure i was told that the apartment has changed due to not hitting sales targets,on arrival the rep tells me its due to over booking then other couples in the same postion tell me another number of reasons they have been told,my wife is 18 weeks pregnant and we were 4 miles approx away from the cavo doro which we booked in september on location mostly.

i hurt my back and had to have emergency treatment from the doctor on the day before our departure just to get me on the flight,ie lots of drugs injected into my back,i advised air tours and i had a medical report and a letter of authorisation to fly,i was told to see the rep when the coach came to collect me (who could not hardly walk and my 18 month pregnant wife) the rep could not care a less and said the following "do you expect me to put you to the front of the que,im not dng that because people will not like it)

i am currently in the process of a major complaint and will never use these people again,i have to claim on my insurance for my injury that i paid cash for,

the worst thing is the fact that there were many couples in the same hotel who paid under half what we paid for a nightmare holiday

ref my comments on airtours / my travel

told lies and had a nightmare,booked through first choice and flew via air tours

booked sept 04 to fly 7th july and hotel changed two weeks before

all they want is your money and they dont care at all about the customers

sorry to be the only person that had a bad meal here but im afraid its true

the man at the front could sell yellow snow to an eskimo its a shame he didnt cook or serve as there was nothing i enjoyed at all about the meal,

Its a shame,this must have been the largest menu i have ever come across,so much variety and if only there was a restaurant like this in england

however service was bad,twenty minutes for a bottle of water "first drink"

to be honest the rea

son i think the service was poor for me was simply because there were so many people at the place,people were waiting for seats,so no doubt that proves they have a lot to offer.

maybe mermaids should look into more staff at peak hours ?

its a dam shame that i didnt enjoy my time there.

went here twice in two weeks,very nice

the bread rolls at the start were so soft and fluffy just right to get you up for a large meal

and such a lovely building

the best value for drinks and quality i found on holiday,

and i have never come across toilets as clean and tidy "ever" in a pub/club it was a pleasure to go in them

Doctors Surgery - (Doctors/Chemists in Zante)

hurt my back on day before departure,wife 18 months pregnant went to see if the doctor was there,he was and said he would come to hotel,

he gave me 4 injections after visitng me three times,on the morning of departure he made sure i would be able to fly and gave me authorisation in writing,very proffesional man

i paid 220 euros which i will claim on insurance,

i really thought i would not get back to england however this man did the trick,its a shame the air operator and tour operator would not give me the same assistance
