Just spent a lovely 2 weeks at the Louros with my Fiance, in our opinion its one of the nicest hotels we visited in Kalamaki, extreamly well looked after, the gardens are lovely! very romantic we had room 219 which overlooked the hills & sea, bliss, we return to Zante next year to Marry although we arent staying there again most of are guests will be, we personally dont like BB but in all fairness if you can get up before 9:25am brecfast it is very good, bread cakes tea fruit etc, but we tended to buy breccy at pool bar 2.50 ero for Egg & toast etc fairly  priced, We had a fridge in the room be warned they are small!

The cleaners cleaned daily and were friendly, Rita on reception is very welcoming, and bar staff are very helpfull to,.
The air craft noise well yes it is loud but i thik almost everyone would aree it a novelty! they dont fly at night due to the loggerhead turtles, and  most days theres only a few fights, so dont be put off.

My only complaint was the sun beds, not enough available and (Please stop leaving your towls on the bed when your not around all day) The beach is so close and theres a lovley breeze to! so we headed  there if there were no beds, Would have no hessitation reccomeding The Louros.

Just got back from Zante we didnt stay at the garden villas but we called in(Quite a few times) as we were looking for a wedding destination in June next year, My fiance and i fell in love with the place it has such a charm and homely feel all the staff & guests were friendly, so we have booked our wedding and a few studio's and cant wait to share this lovely place with our friends& relatives, its near the main road but this this is a good thing as your close enough to shops etc but far enough away to quiet & relaxing oh i cant wait!!

We just got back from Zante had a lovely two weeks, The olive tree was are favorite beacuse it was consistant a good standard of food and resonable price. The staff are very nice and funny and gave us a warm welcome, we did have some nice meals in other restrants in Kalamaki yet we seemed to retrn here every other night! try there pasta dishes or Lamb lovely! there sweets are very tasty bad for thouse on diets, Ps Large beer comes in a large girlie glass so you wont look very manly if you order a large one!!

Pandesia - (Restaurants in Kalamaki)

Lindsey P

Sorry But it was our worst meal, all 7 of us, my chicken was over cooked & badly  burnt, kids meals well meatballs looked black didnt make them eat it, the fish dish was very tough, more fat on the chips than left in the frier! Now since there are many restrants in Zante to try,  we didnt return, but apparantly it wasnt all bad so it might just be bad luck, up to you

Zakanthi - (Restaurants in Kalamaki)

Its a shame because this was our favorite restrant  in 2003, But when we returned this year it wasnt the same, service is slow but so relaxing you dont always notice the timing, however it is very expensive compared to othwer restrants, the food is nice the staff seemed less friendly, they have one of the best surroundings its a shame, i will try again next year!

Recently returned from Garden village We got Married in the Gardens here with 30 guests we all had an amazing time we will never forget.

Garden Village is a unique Place to stay its so relaxed the Studios & Apartments are so tastefully set out, lovely grounds great large wooden sun Lounge’s, pool snack bar serves really nice food all day and the Owners carol & Nickos are amazing nothing is to much Trouble, Emma & Gemma & all the staff are so friendly it feels a like visiting family here a real home from home, Being a fairly small place you get to know everyone around the pool & Bar, You certainly wont be disappointed if you stay here, Sophia’s supermarket it just 30 seconds up the little lane, 1 minute away from all the shops & bars a great location beach is about a five minute walk, do go to there BBq night its great fun & very reasonably priced, Carol will advise you of places to go & see, Hire a car and explore the island our personal favourite was Zante town, Garden Village will always be special to us and cant wait to go again we Booked though First Choice, a truly amazing place that need to be experienced to appreciate it. Thank you all see you soon xx
