Diana Palace Hotel - (Accommodation in Argassi)

Bill D

Was not the 3 / 4 star as advertised...we stayed in room S2, it was okay, but it was supposed to be a two bedroom apartment. It was more like one bedroom with a another room with a sofa bed with pull out camp bed. Balcony was very small. But we didn't go on holiday to stay in a room. The kitchen could have been cleaned ,more often as we had a dirty tablecloth for over a week.

The rest of the hotel was great, with STAFOS the waiter by the poolbar looking after your every need including the choice of music. A very hard working waiter, but very freindly.
The girls on reception were also very nice, but look out for the miserable bast*** on reception during the nightshift. Greece's answer to Victor Meldrew.
The pool was great, and it helped with a great crowd of people there during our stay.
Hotel Entertainment could be a lot better...but just go over to the factory and see Jani the fire-starter.

THE ROOF, THE ROOF, THE ROOF IS ON FIRE!!!!!!!

Will be back.

Ionio Beach - (Beaches in Zante)

Bill D

Spent a day on this beach. Thought it was great.

Taxi from Argassi was 14 euros three sunbeds and a table / chair brolly was only 5 euros for the day.
Thanks for the hospitality at The Scorpion Beach Bar.

Great view.

Blue Caves and Shipwreck Cruise - (Zante Excursions)

Bill D

Loved this trip, Shipwreck has to be seen. I swam in the sea then had lunch sitting next to the wreck. This was the reason for booking Zante and did not let me down.

Booked through Direct Holidays, but no rep was on the trip.
But hey the sail up the coast was great...Blue Caves did not look that exciting though.

Excellent meals here...ate here three times during stay. We had Steaks on my wifes birthday here and was lovely. Washed down with Rose wine...mmm

Kids loved the food here as well.

Green Frog - (Restaurants in Argassi)

Bill D

Green Frog was freindly and the food was great.

The cute, small Aussie/ NZ waitress had a crush on my wee boy.
She was very freindly.
The food here was great, but on the first night they missed our starters with the Sunday lunch.
Great value though...
