Fiorentino - (Restaurants in Tsilivi)

Shaun W  (31 July 2006)

We where a little let down by this restaurant, maybe  we expected to much due to this website. The food was good but was not the best meal we had during our stay. However for a value meal it is to be recommended.

This restaurant is a little gem, we wanted traditional Greek food, and eating here was like having a Greek mate and being invited round for Sunday dinner. The food was spot on the two occasions we visited, try anything on the menu it oozes quality and value. My partner says that the Baklava is the best she has ever tasted. The setting is perfect to enjoy your meal unhurried and relaxed. The host and hostess where two of the nicest people we met on an island full of nice people. Artemis and Joanna good luck for yourselves and the baby, see you next year, Shaun and Lynn

We visited this establishment with an open mind due to some comments on this website. We visited the restaurant next door and being nosey noticed all the plates where empty going back to the kitchen empty( a good sign). We both had a nice starter but where really impressed with main course mousakka, also if I remember correctly we had a nice wine as well. again the value was top notch, some of the Mexican grill meals seemed massive, but when in Greece.........

Benikos - (Restaurants in Tsilivi)

Fell into the restaurant more or less from the plane on our first night, I had the octopus starter which was good and prawns wrapped in bacon for a main which again was not bad. The thing that really struck us was the value compared to the UK, a trend which continued throughout the holiday. The service was good and friendly.

If you like a drop of vino, brandy or a martini etc etc, then this is a bar for you, fine list of wines by the bottle or glass (45 the week we where there).
Ideal place to relax and chill after a meal and forget about the UK and your job.
If you dont want the 'hard work' of choosing your own wine, tell Trevor what you like, and let him do the leg work for you.
Trevor or Alan are always on hand to serve, advise or just have a chat at this unique bar, unlike any other on the resort.
See you next year.

The people at this bar are mad.
We only went in to ask directions, they dressed us in funny hats and forced us to drink delicious cocktails, refusing to let us leave, they even made me make my own cocktail. Some of the slammers where so potent they made my girlfriends ears go funny.

The reception staff and porter guy where professional, polite and friendly.

The hotel was spotless and the maid who serviced our room did a fantastic job daily, we also used the laundry service and this was  quick.

We did not use the hotel restaurant, but we did use the Deck bar for lunchtime snacks everyday, the menu was varied enough and quality good, the chap and young girl who served us everyday where nice and attentive.

We missed all the entertainment being out on the resort at night, but we did use the bar for early evening drinks, the bar staff where a fun crowd.

For the first time ever we plan to revisit a resort and hotel the following year.
