Costas Hotel - (Accommodation in Kalamaki)

We stayed at the costas apartments this last week and have been really happy with the accommodation and facilities. The location is brilliant for easy access to the main road and many restaurants. The owners have dogs, horses, deer, chickens and many other animals for the kids to be entertained, as well as bouncy castles. Both pools are really clean and pleasant to use, the bar staff are friendly and helpful. We are planning to come back in 2013. Kalamaki itself is brilliant for families and older couples, younger couples might prefer the bright lights of Laganas being as Kalamaki resort is quiet. The beach is a short level walk from the apartments. Crazy golf is right across the way and expertly run by Bob and Dan, food here is good value for money, freshly made by the family their coleslaw is the best! Anyway back to Costas! Clean and tidy and kept so by unobtrusive staff. Nightly entertainment can be anything from bingo to free pizza n chips and karaoke. Gary is highly entertaining and gets everyone involved, hopefully he will be back in 2013 :)

Olive Tree Restaurant - (Restaurants in Kalamaki)

Been here tonight and came away with a stomach bug :( hubby and daughter ok but had different food. Not the best food we had in Kalamaki which is a shame as the service and ambiance was excellent, restaurant was busy with holidaymakers and also locals which is always a good sign, I think I was maybe just unlucky. They have excellent early bird offers too. We had starters, main and drinks for 3 coming to 37 euros.

We had probably the best meal of our stay here, excellent value for money, attentive staff without being overbearing or pushy. Will defo come back here again.
