Well worth the short trip away from the main resort.More your typical Greek Taverna.Set on the top road on the way to Zante town, this was one of the more authentic retaraunts that we visited. You sit out under the cover of vines, fig trees & lime trees. The best bits of the eating experience is that the waiter will bring out a BIG tray of starters (hot & cold) for you to choose from.We just chose 6 to 8 starters to make up a meze and did not have a main course at all.You can also watch the chefs preparing your food on the grill to the accompniment of lots of flames and smoke! Meal for 2 with a drink approx £12-00.You even get a liquior(?) and some semolina sweet with your bill.

One of the better "in town" establishments with a more genuine Greek feel than some of the others.Seemed very popular on Greek night.

Why Oh why come to Greece and eat English food!!! Don`t you know that the Mediterranean diet is one of the best in the whole world! Go on treat yourself, don`t like spicy? It`s NOT, good Greek food is simple and wholesome.Don`t turn this place into another Blackpool.

Well, my wife and I had a graet 2 weeks in spite of our reservations before coming here. The rooms are typically Greek i.e. BASIC but ours was clean and comfortable. The beds and towels were changed 4 times in 2 weeks, thats more than at home. The set up is a bit funny in that the peole that own the accomodation rent the bar to some English people and if you need something for your room you have to see the rep. This caused us no problems though and worked well in practice. Steve, Claire and Rhonda who work in the bar are great, they will try and help in any way that they can, just ask! A tip: Have your cocktails in the bar thaey are about 1000 drx (£2) and they are stronger than you`ll get in Town! All in all, great budget accomodation. Tip 2: take ear plugs if you want a siesta or go to bed early as the road/pool/bar can be noisy.

If you want a traditional Greek taverna and don`t want to go to the Akrotiri on the coast road then come here. Great at lunchtime for a Greek Salad and the stuffed Aubregines were to die for. In the evening the waiter will come and tell you what`s available (i.e. fresh) and make a recommendation. The food is good and honest and tasty. Very reasonably priced. We saw quite a few Greeks eating here as well, which has got to be a good sign.
