My friend Elena with the "hottiest" boys in apartments! Too far away from everything! First super market you can find in about 3 km!

We are shocked that other people said that the Blue Bay Hotel was quiet! Kosmar described it as quiet and we hoped to be staying somewhere quiet to catch up on some sleep and rest after 2 years of hard work. Instead we felt like we were sleeping in a disco which was belting out music from 9am to midnight every night. This was then followed by people sitting by the pool from midnight to 1pm/2pm every night talking and laughing so loudly that unless you were an exceptionally deep sleeper, you got woken up. As Blue bay did not respect siesta's, you couldn't even catch up on your sleep in the afternoon! If we had wanted a party holiday, we would have gone to a party resort. We can't believe that everyone says it is so quiet when in our experience, it is so not quiet. Perhaps we were just very unlucky. As for calling Paddy a gentleman, when we complained (and we complained politely at 2am) he was very rude and basically told us it was our problem, his hotel and he didn't give a damn. Some gentleman! Needless to say, we moved out the next morning as after 5 nights of staying in the blue bay hotel, we looked more tired than when we'd arrived.
The last straw was on the 5th night when we not only got woken up by loud talking, screaming and laughing, but also by loud music and noticed that drinks were being served until 2am. Interestingly, Paddy said that he couldnt' stop people sitting outside and when we said they were providing them with drinks and that this would encourage them, he denied they had been provided with drinks and also said no music had been played! We didn't realise we were so tired we were hallucinating.
To sum up, if you like a party atmosphere and don't mind having your bedtime dictated to you, then the blue bay would be a good choice. If you are after a quiet restful holiday (as per the brochure on the blue bay apartments) then forget it, look elsewhere. Be warned, if you go to the blue bay and complain, then no matter how polite you are, their true colours will show!
ps The beds were not comfortable but the location was it's best asset.

Hi, we stayed at the Blue Bay Hotel the last 2 weeks in May this year. It was fantastic!!!! We had a great laugh and are going again next year. Paddy and Spiros are perfect gentlemen and really make your holiday. Angie is game for a laugh and always enjoys being thrown in the pool!!!!! The apartments are top class, very clean, very spacious and very classy. We gave Paddy his name as we struggled to say Panagiotis! Glad to hear he's kept it. Spiros makes great frappe's you must try them. The pool is the cleanest in Alykanas thanks to Spiros!! Can't wait till next year. The Connells

We stayed at Blue Bay studio's from 5th June 2005 to 12th June . It was the best holiday we have ever had. From when we stepped off the coach, Spiros and his gang could not do enough for us. The apartments are not too far from the airport, more or less on the beach, close to the town....what more can I say. It's the first holiday where on the last day we had still not been into all of the shops!! Everyone who stayed there while we were there were planning to re book for next year. The apartments were first class....furnishings were lovely, no expense spared. We experienced no noise at all, in fact we slept like logs for the whole of the holiday. Many good restaurants...we enjoyed the Greek night at Danny's bar..very cheap and an excellant night out. Can't wait to go back!!!![]()

We had a brilliant time in these apartments. Everything was so clean and Paddy, Angie and spiros could not do enough to make us feel welcome. The sea is so close by and the pool is great fun for the kids. The Mill Bar is well worth a visit for the Greek Night and Angies quiz is a must!!! if we go back to Zante we weill definetly be booking here again! The apartments all look on to the sea and the beds are really comfy!!!

| Although we have not stayed in the blue bay apartments in alikanas, we did stumble accross them last year, and looked around for future holidays. At this time the owner was advertising of his own steam, but I am aware he is going through kosmar at the moment. They were new when we saw them, and I can say we were very impressed. It was very clean, beautiful, modern, spacious and a nice kitchen area and lovely showers. The pool looked gorgeous. If anyone has been there this year I would like to hear your comments. As we have booked for next July. As I said we have not actually stayed there, so maybe there are some things I am not aware of! | ||||||||||
