hi peter. we were looking forward to seeing chris and george also. but they have left the grapes now. chris told us last year she would not be there this year as she wanted to stay home with the new baby but she did say george would still be there. must have been a change of plan. anyway dont let this put you off emi and rula are lovely and will look after you. they have run the grapes before with their dad christos a few years ago. we had a brilliant time why we were there and really enjoyed it. oh and bye the way chris had a boy and her and george are over the moon. i hope i have been helpful. anyway have a brilliant holiday. sue. yammas| sue and mick hogan (Friday, June 27, 2008) | View 6 posts by sue and mick hogan | |

 i just dont understand the whingers.we are going back to the grape vines for the third time and have never had a problem there.as for the the person who stated they had to walk miles for food i cant understand where you were going as its only a 5 min walk to all the bars.we have just had a week in skiathos and had to hire a car just to eat but its all part of the experience.if you dont want to explore and sit around eating at the appartments why not just go to butlins. oh and as for the guy complaining because he couldnt watch football get a life.you travel out there for a break and do what you would at home.how sad. | |

 well another year over and back again. had a fantastic 2 weeks at the grapevines emmy and rula really looked after us. and we met some lovely people old and new faces. would like to say hello to mac and gwen and their family who was there for thier daughters wedding. what a lovely bunch of people.and also to martin and michelle and bob and celia.hope you had a great 2nd week. we had a brilliant time and could not have asked for a better holiday. i would like to say hello to andi the owner of the grapes and hope she can get somthing sorted for next year. and to little laura our rep what a lovely young lady. and as for peter street all i can say is he must be a very picky person. we were in room 5 and had no problem. i wish i was in that room now. anyway to all them due going to the grapes have a great holiday. yammas. | |

 Mac and Gwen just back from our visit to Zante 25/5/08-08/06/08, it was our second time at the Grapevines, we had a great time 3 years ago, this time we came for our daughter Donna's wedding, there was 17 of us which included our family and the groom Chris's family and friends and we all had a fantastic time, thanks to the lovely Emi and Rula and their mum Lita and the owners of the Grapevines who all made us very welcome, they were all very friendly and helpful.Thanks again for getting the ironing board for us for the wedding day, it was just what we needed for the wedding dress and a few of the guy's shirts.
Emi and Rula did a great job of running the bar, the food was always great, they certainly made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble, they worked long hours everyday but were always cheerful thanks again for making our stay memorable and enjoyable.
The wedding was on the 4th June and was held at the Shoestring resaurant in old Alakanas, we all had a great day, it was a magnificent setting and the food was amazing, it is definately worth a visit, there is a lovely beach and they do great lunchtime and evening meals. Thanks again to Tassos and Claire for everything they did for us on the special day.
Hi to Mick and Sue, it was nice to see you again and hi to everyone else we met while we were there especialy Chris and Maria.
Don't understand Peter Street's terrible comments, we could not find any fault with the Grapevines. We will definately return. | |

It's all very well to criticise and the like. But surely, like the extract above and having reviewed your lasts, can you not even get your grammar/spelling correct ?
Don't come back to Zante Grapevines, stay at home in bright n bootiful (SIC) Bristol.

This was our second stay at the Grapevines, and again enjoyed the holiday very much, It is true that the Grapevines is not the best 2* your ever likely to stay in, but by Greek standards it is not too bad, a room to sleep in, with basic amenties and clean , quiet and relaxing and friendly, you pay for what you get. Almost all of the people who have travelled around the Greek Islands were not complaining as they know what is really out there. A gap under the door and a breeze coming in and taps on the wrong way around............. really.
Laura (our First Choice rep) was a star for us, that helped my wife who is disabled bypass all the arrivals and departure waiting.

Cant belive all these good reviews of the grapevines (STAYED 13/5/09-27/5/08), would never return to this place ever again. Had many problems with the room, of which we were told would be sorted. Only two of these were fixed and the rest the managment couldnt care less, they just wanted your money. This was meant to be our honeymoon and instead it was a honeymoon from hell, so thank you so much grapevines for a horible time. NEVER AGAIN  | |
