This small apartment complex next to the Cosy Corner and Bonkers Bar was a perfect base for our week away. Kept beautifully clean by the maid's daily visits we were welcomed with bottles of local wine and a message from the management.
I would receommend this to any couples and small families as a lovely holiday location. Just watch out for the mosquitoes as they are particularly hungry this year!

| We have today returned from a wonderful holiday in Alykanas, Zakynthos. We stayed in the Venus Studios which are very basic, but clean and in a great location for a great taverna (Cosy Corner 10ft away) and for the beach (2min walk). If you're after a loud nightlife then you're on the wrong part of the island. If it's peaceful tranquility in the sun with the use of a pool, some great places to eat and drink and the beach within a short walking distance then this is the place to go. We had apprehensions about booking a small cheapie apartment - especially as it was our first real holiday abroad but as basic as it was, it was clean, friendly, and quiet which was perfect for us. We are in our mid 20's and visitors of all ages were staying there. If you're expecting any great luxuries, then you probably misunderstood the brochure! - if you're not fussed about having a tv or a microwave for example, but want somewhere clean, quiet and friendly, you'll not be disappointed. | ||||||||||

| As far as location and views are concerned, this was excellent. Only about 200 yards from the beach and 400yards from centre of village, but quiet. One of the few properties in Alykanas to get a good sea view (if you are on the top floor - room 7 to 12). The main drawback is the bathroom, which needs the plumbing replaced as it looks old and tacky. But it did work OK. We greatly enjoyed our two week stay there. | ||||||||||
