Plagos Beach Hotel(Hotels in Tsilivi) |

Just ot back from our Honeymoon! Two weeks at the Plagos beach just wasn't enough, we could have stayed there forever! Had read some bad stuff on the net about it but found nothing to worry about. Staff were fantastic. Nikos, Leftris & Alex in the bar, Nikos at reception, Sakis in the dining room and Martin & Sam on the "Animation Team". Weather was beautiful apart from two bouts of very heavy rain. Sea was fantastic for swimming and snorkling with fish everywhere. The private jetty was great to just laze on and catch the sun. Entertainment was varied and fun with lots of Ouzo which I have aquired a taste for now ( Thanks Martin & Sam
) and if you're prepared to get involved will make the evenings very memberable. Reps were superb! Mel at the airport and on the transfer coach both ways filled us with info about where to go and what to do and Cat at the hotel who always had time to chat and catch up, making sure our honeymoon went smoothly. We have to admit the Cat seemed a little bit strange at first but that was just the way she is and we wouldn't change her for the world. She helped make our stay wonderful
. All in all a great place if you want a quiet, relaxing time but also loads of stuff to do if you want, The best of both worlds. We would definately go here again if we get the chance.

I got married here September 2004 and my husband and I are going back May 07. Hotel very clean and the food was wonderful. Staff very very helpful couldn't do enough for my family and I. Bus stop only at the end of the road which you can catch to go to Zante Town or anywhere else on the island and very cheap!! Well worth the money!! Cheers Adelle

| hiyaaaaaaaa!i stayed in Plagos Beach last week (24th oct-1st nov) and had a great time, the hotel is in a really nice place- not too far from tsilivi or the quiet beach nearby! The island was beautiful & i really fancied the lad who was always doin sports! So you know if anyone knows the lad who always does sport, pass it on lol. The only bad thing about it was we went the last week of the season and there weren't many people there at all, but I guess it's better than it being heaving! Kirsten xx | ||||||||||

| Wow- What can I say!! Arrived back in the UK today and I'm missing it already! All nine of us thouroughly enjoyed the holiday and the animation team- Andrea, Bas, Rocco and Eveljyn made it that extra bit special! The group of us had ages ranging from 10- 68 and we found ourselves not bored during the day when the team was around!! However, Tragaki is a quiet and small resort and it costs 6 euros to get a taxi to the lively resort of Tsilivi which is just down the road! At the bottom of the road are two freindly beach bars and Ampula beach bar did a great Greek night on friday! There were numerous beach parties on the island during our stay and we attended our local one and it was an amazing night. The holiday was very relaxing and the food superb! The waitors were a laugh and the atmosphere was pretty cool. However, the place could've done with a happy hour as cocktails were 5+ euros each and a little more music could've been played! The bar at the top of the driveway was very reasonable and we enjoyed the happy hours there!! I am 15 and found my self not bored but totaly the opposite! However, if you want to stay in the centre of all the happenings I suggest Tsilivi or Laganas ( which is like Faliraki!) The pool is fairly deep and there are plenty of sunbeds to go around! The local beach is 3 minutes walk and the hotel has it's own jetty into the sea and private sea/ rock area. The locals are freindly and the beach party was class! We met a lot of people who were 14-18 who were staying around the hotel even though there was a lot of younger children there. The animation team did some pretty good shows however, I think it might be quiet if you visit the hotel in September/October time as there will be less people. The rooms were kept clean and the sheets were changed daily! The louge area is a good size. We had a room with a sea view and it was a good size. The reception was immensly sufficent and stayed open 24 hours- when we got back from the beach party at 3 o'clock (am) there was still a guy there! The top 2 beaches were Tsilivi beach and St. Nicholas bay but the local beach was just as good! If you want to relax, have a game of water volley or just a talk with the bar staff and Andrea, Bas, Rocco or Evelyjn, this is the place to be! | ||||||||||

| We stayed here wk comm 22 May, room was a bit dodgy at first, we had upgraded or so we thought to a sea view room but ended up ground floor, by the pool toilets and under day restaurant! Upgraded again to superior room which was the kind of room we expected in the first place! Food was good but after a week got bored and ventured into Tsilivi town for a change of scenery! Rooms were cleaned every day so couldn't fault the cleaners. Entertainment by the pool and on the evening was good (if not a little annoying "hello!!!!!!!!" but the taxi didn't cost much into the town so that broke it up a bit. The hotel was basically ok but wouldn't have give it **** , possibly ***. | ||||||||||
