Just returned from ten days at this fabulous hotel. Hotel very clean and modern with excellent staff who will hwlp you with any requests you may have. The resort of vassilikos is very peaceful if you want lots of nightlife then this is not the place for you. If you want total relaxation then this is the place for you.The hotel offers excellent facilities that include kids club, spa, jacuzzi etc and also has a mini market on site. If you come out of the hotel and turn left and follow the road you will come to a supermarket and a taverna run by Yiota and Nikos who are very friendly and make you feel very welcome. There are a few restaurants nearby. We visited one of the best restaurants that we have ever been to in Vassilikos called Simply Greek amazing food and excellent service at reasonable prices and the owner is a professional chef and he will also drop you off back at the hotel when you have finished your meal. If you want to recharge your batteries and discover unspoilt Zante then you will have a great time here. | |

Have just returned from a week in Zante sataying at the Bay Hotel and Suites. Hotel very minimilistic, uncomfy seating, very hard beds. Our room was in seperate building to Hotel as we had requested
Sea View, up over forty steps, which we had to carry our cases at one am in the morning. Very short on crockery and cutlery at meal times. Pool area and bar very nice but bar very expensive five euros for a glass of orange juice. As this Hotel has just been done up and is under new owners (daughter of previous owner) I think it may take a couple of seasons for them to get it right. Not much entertainment in evenings although the girl who organised it was very nice and enthusiastic.Long way out from anywhere wouldn't think this was particulary a good Hotel for youngsters. We are middle aged and found the quiteness quite nice but as we didn't really like Zante overall (found it very dirty and run down and we hired a car and did most of the Island) think that the Island has probably had its day, we went to look at a few Hotels and rated The Bay as one of the best.
