We loved this place....really authentic greek food and friendly waiter. We tried a few dishes over the fortnight and can recommend the swordfish and mixed kebab and chicken souvlaki. The kebab comes with all the trimmings....tzatziki, salad, potatoes, veg and a smile. Well done and good luck with the business.

The food was good at Erly’s, and we all had a good time,  the waiter was really young and friendly and was trying to keep everyone amused, he was a bit like a young Michael Jackson. Come to think of it (Shimon!) with his high pitched voice

Starters of Tzatiki, meat balls, saganaki and village sausage were good, but the village sausage was not the best we’d had.

Our youngest had the kid’s special plate from the Children’s menu, which was good, and he ate it all.

My wife and eldest had souvlaki, which they said was really nice.

I had moussaka which was good, but not baked individually, and from a larger pie split into portions, which was nice, but I have had better.

Afters were good, ice cream for kids, yogurt, honey and nuts for wife and baklava & ice cream for me!

We were well stuffed!

me and my boyfriend eventually agreed to go here after getting pestered everynight by the guy who stands outside this restaurant!  i felt the food was ok, but my boyfriend really enjoyed it. the service was pretty poor, everyone was waiting for a while and we all got our food at the same time, after about an hour, but it was quite nice. We had a bit of a laugh with the young lad waiter how sounded a little like a greek michael jackson!

With out a doubt this is the best restaurant in Tsilivi, the only problem we had was that we didnt find it until our last night.  The atmosphere, playing greek music was excellent, the politeness and service from staff tremendous and the food to die for. We (2 of us) had a starter, main course and 2 drinks all for £20. With a vast amount of choice on the menu, next year I will be eating at this restaurant every single night. 10/10!!!

The food and service at Erlys was exellent, we can recomend the lamb keleftico as our favorite dish, infact everything else we ate there was very good. Angelo was amusing and  polite as were all the staff.

Thanks for a great time Andrew + Katrina

Went in here on our last night and wished we'd gone in earlier.  Starters were good and the main course was fantastic.  If they have sea bass on the Specials board then get it.  I had it and it was the best fish i've ever had at a restaurant.  He even brought it out before it was cooked to show how fresh it was - it had been caught at 9 in the morning!

It was one of the best meals I had in Zante, the only bad point was the service as we had to wait ages for our bill to arrive.  Apart from that i'd highly recommend it.Tongue

Alan B  (19 September 2005)

If you want great food and very good service, then visit Erlys. We visited most restaurants throughout Zante, and this in our opinion the very best.

Hello Erly and Angelo we promised you we would tell the world how good you are.

Tries very hard to get people in restaurant. Lovely man - got a sense of humour! Food was good - Lamb Klefitico, Beef Stifaldo, Lamb Zante - Lovely waiter who talks to you.  Only downfall is that it is on the main road opposite the night club, which can be a distraction due to the noise, but worth a visit because of the food.

Mike S  (28 July 2005)

As I understand it is a family run business. The son waits the tables, mother cooks and father brings them in. Good idea but everything suffers because of it. I couldn't recommend it to anyone. STAY AWAY go for some real Greek food.

Steve H  (19 July 2005)

we ate at erlys most nights on our 2nd week because we found that the staff were great-very friendly and im sure they were trying too get us drunk!the lamb klefniko excuse the spelling! was by far the best in the resort.you even have free melon after your meal which always goes down well. the only downfall is its opposite enigma nightclub so you can hear music from over the round however dont let this put you off cus its well worth the money.

Full points to Erlys for excellent service, fantastic food and great hospitality. Erlys and Angelo made us very welcome and were very friendly. The food was so tasty we kept returning during our holiday. Definately the best we had during our two week stay. The fruit at the end of the meal was a really nice gesture and "mama" had a touch of magic about her cooking....especially the lamb pomodoro....delicious. We will definately recommend Erlys to anyone going to Tsilivi and only wish we had found it earlier on in our stay.

Very good taverna, very friendly staff and good food. The only thing that spoils it is the disco across the road being to noisy. When I have my meal I like to hear Greek Music but this was drowned by the music from across the road

A Word of warning to anyone visiting Tsilivi AVOID ERLYS.

Myself,Family and two friends decided to try our Erlys one night and found it to be an absoulute shambles,

We decided to order on separate bills from our friends as we have children and it makes life easier,We waited a while for our starters to arrive and when they finally did the order was wrong and we had finished our friends were just reciving their starters.
Things went from bad to worse my soup was packet soup and I was assured it was homemade(being a chef I can till the difference) then the main courses didnt arrive together and we had stated we wanted everthing out together. My wife order lamb with roast potatoes and it came with chips. The whole meal was a mess.I would have been more sympathetic had it been busy however we were the only people in the restuarant, We complained and were offered a discount of a pathetic 1 euro we told him to keep it.
Unbelivably the night after they asked us if we would like to eat their again to which I replied"Once is enough thank you".
Maybe they should change their name to Lateys.

A great resturant to go to, this was one of our best meals thoughout our stay.  The waiter was very friendly and efficient, the food was fab and good value for money.Smile

Sarah +  (13 August 2004)

Excellent restaurant!! Served by a young lad who was very friendly and polite. Had a prawn dish with tomatoes and cheese which was probably the tastiest thing i've eaten in a long time! delicious! Really cheap too, but everywhere is! Spot On!!! ENJOY!

David, J  (05 August 2004)

Excellent food. We called many times for evening meals, also drinks/snacks plus a couple of breakfasts! Good choice on the menu. Erly, the waiter, speaks very good English and always answered our questions about the island. His Mum is a very good chef!
Well worth a visit (or two)!

Kate&sal   (31 May 2004)

Food and drink very cheap, Mythos 1.60 euros for 0.5ltr and Amstel 1.80 euros for 0.5ltr. Food excellent and once again cheapest we could find, between 2-5 euros less for any dish compared to other restaurants we went to. I had chicken souvlaki, souvlaki sauce very tasty and the meat was fillet not processed rubbish! Mixed grill was pork steak, sausage, chicken fillet and lamb on the bone, both meals good sized portions. On the whole this restaurant is a must visit if in Tsilivi!!
