lets get down to the nitty gritty FOOD i would just like to say i have been to tsilivi 9 times and trust me on this i have been to many of the restarants and this one is by far the most enjoyable, ok its not the biggest but it makes up for that with quality an quantity so please if you do have to wait (which is no more than 10 mins) it will be worth it.

First time to Tsilivi and ate at Fiorentions 8 nights out of 11, it should have been 11 out of 11 as the food and service were superb.  Looks like I missed out though by not eating the sea bass and pougi

Don't know what Frank and Roxani are planning on doing when they leave but the best of luck to them, and what will Dimitri do?

P.S.  Frank/Roxani  -  We really need you to write a Greek recipe book and get it published in the uk.  Is that what you plan to do?

click to enlargeMy partner and myself visited Tsilivi in May. Fiorentino was excellant as usual. We visited 3 times during our stay . I had the seabass and meatballs to name a few. In the 4 times we have visited Tsilivi, Fiorentino is easily the best place to eat and will be sadly missed Tsilivi won't be the same without you. Good luck with the future. Andrea & Paul, Yorkshire.

Florence G  (15 June 2008)        10/10

We have just returned from two weeks in Tsilivi and we are glad we found this restaurant as it is the very best, varied menu excellent food and service. We are sorry to hear it is there last season.

Paula C  (15 June 2008)        10/10

Well, what can we say?

10/10 just doesn't do this restaurant justice!

The food here is the best we had in Tsilivi.
Fiorentino is in the centre of Tsilivi next to the Joker bar, run by Frank and Roxani for the last 13 seasons, although this year is their last.

Roxani still does all the cooking, it's our favourite restaurant and we ate here about 6 or 7 times early June 2008.

We tried moussaka, stamna, lamb in the oven, stifado, kleftico, meatballs in a to-die-for tomato sauce which you can have as a starter or main course (I WANT THE RECIPE, Roxani!), swordfish steak in tomato sauce which was so big that the Greek potatoes came on a separate plate!, lamb pougi which is tender lamb, tomatoes and lots of other stuff in a filo pastry case. I don't think I've seen this dish on any other menu.
Everything we had was just delicious.

They serve PROPER chips, and as much as I love greek potatoes I just HAVE to have to have these.

The fried courgettes and aubergines which are in a very light batter and come with a little tzatziki are delicious as a starter.

The service is good and the prices very reasonable.

Maureen B  (08 June 2008)        10/10

Returned last week from our usual 2 week May stay in the lovely Tsilivi and was saddended to hear this is Fiorentino's last season.  We will miss you all.  Over the past 5 years Frank and Dimitri have always made us so welcome and Roxanni's food....what can we say other than perfection itself!  Cannot possibly recommend one particular item as it's all so wonderful, although I shall probably miss my calamari starter and Jimmy will miss the 'stuffed mushrooms'! We hope that whatever the future holds for you all, it will be bright and successful.
Thanks for many happy memories (and full tummies!!!)
Maureen & Jimmy Brett - Manchester

Paula C (03 May 2008)

I'm really pleased to read all the positive comments about Fiorentino.

We first stayed in Tsilivi at the beginning of May 1996 and were one of Frank & Roxani's first ever customers, we ate there for most of the 3 weeks and Roxani tried lots of dishes out on us.
We really enjoyed the food and returned again in September 2001 - it was much busier, but just as good.

Had a postcard from Frank & Roxani a couple of weeks ago telling us that this will be their last season so we've decided to go later this month to say 'Hi' and taste their delicious food once again.

Laura W (15 April 2008)

My self and my boyfriend Kev have visited Tsilivi 5 times now and have visited this resturant everytime its food is excellant  as is the service ,we are very sad its closing this year.

Chris B  (14 April 2008)        10/10

Hi Frank, Roxani and the crew.

Absolutely gutted to here you are closing at the end of this season , the last time we were there was June last year when my wife was heavily pregnant, we've since had a beautiful little girl and though we would love to come and see you in your last year in Tsilivi I think it may be too soon to go abroad with her.

I will miss the Lamb Pougi tremendously, if you can ship some over to Birmingham or at least give the recipe when you close that would be great !

Wishing you all the best in the future.

Chris, Caz and Hannah

Paul F  (03 April 2008)        10/10

We are visiting Tsilivi at the end of September early October for the 6th time, Fiorentino's is probably our favourite place to eat, we are so sorry to hear they are closing. We also can highly reccomend Sweet Revenge and the The Old Vine Yard. which is a bit off the beaten track but worth finding.

Can Frank or Dimitri or anyone who visits early this summer ask / confirm if they are seeing the complete season out? We would hate to miss out! Dimitri might know me as the Manchester United supporter!

Many thanks Paul & Linda but  the are closing after this year!

Frank W  (04 February 2008)        10/10

Anne R  (24 September 2007)        10/10

If you want great food, great service then don't go anywhere else. This restaurant is the best. The pougi is fantastic. We tried it on our last night when we were there last year but went in nearly every night this time. The sea bass is fantastic and the steaks the best I have had.

The best time to get there is about 7.00 to 7.30 pm if you want a table otherwise because it is so popular you will have to queue but worth the wait.

Have a great meal then visit the Utopia bar for a drink and great people

Tsivili is the beat place everything you need is there.

Elaine B  (23 September 2007)        10/10

just got back from a fab week in tsilivi. who cares if the airport is rubbish, this resort is the best. we ate at franks several times over the week and the food just gets better and better.

the pougi is sensational and i am loathe to try other dishes but did try lamb in the oven and lamb shank, both were melt in the mouth and the bifteki was also gorgeous.

this is a star of a restaurant and Frank Roxani and dmitri are the most amiable hosts you could wish for.

roll on 2008!

Neil R  (18 September 2007)        10/10

just returned from Zante after a three year gap and delighted to find the food at Fiorentino was as delicious as the last time we were there. Got there early every night to avoid the queues - if you enjoy good food and attentive service don`t go anywhere else. Highly recommended.
