Stars Restaurant

WE WAITED OVER AN HOUR FOR THE FOOD, KIDS WERE GETTING RESTLESS. FOOD OK BUT NOT AS GOOD AS SOME OF THE OTHER PLACES LIKE PAPILLION. WE WERE OVERCHARGED ON THE BILL FOR 4 BOTTLES OF WATER THAT WE DID NOT HAVE AND THEY CHARGE YOU FOR EVERY TIME THEY VISIT YOUR TABLE. WE VISITED ONCE AND DID NOT GO BACK.

Didnt rate this restaurant too much. The food was not that well prepared, and the portion was smallish. There are better. Try the Illision, Enigma, or the Green Frog

The food here was lovely, especially the food cooked on the bbq such as Souvlaki. We went here for lunch and the Greek salads were excellent.

We liked the food and the service was fine. Price was also ok. We did not like the setting , on a busy street with lots of traffic and mopeds screeming past.

Service was not that good here. We had to wait over an hour for our food with no apology and we ordered a greek salad which we did not get. So a bit disappointed especially after reading the comments on this website.

We had a lovely meal here with our friends.

I remember the stars in 1982 when Andreas and the brothers were nippers. They They have never changed in their friendly approach to visitors. They are football mad and always have the tele on for big matches. I have visited Argassi many times and this is (along with the Three Brothers) the only local Taverna left in the village.

I agree, Stars is a great place to eat, good food, good prices and good staff. One of the few restaurants who refuse to allow their customers to be hassled by the local flower sellers during a meal. The children in particular are very intrusive, touching and kissing and trying to cajole you into buying the roses. Rather irritating when they won't take no for an answer.. Stars are very considerate to the privacy of their customers... Big thumbs up for Stars.

The Stars was one of the first restaurants in Argassi along with the Three Brothers Fish restaurant. It was great in 1986 and it is even better now, with weather being a hit or a miss in off-season, Andreas has spent a considerable sum of money making the restaurant "weather proof". This is a family run restaurant and the owner have lived and worked in Argassi all there days. The "Greek Nights" are brilliant but because these nights are mobbed, the food on these nights can be failry humdrum.

We as a family of three have been going to Argassi for 7 years now, the stars restaraunt is excellent and the staff caanot do enough for you

Good value for money, friendly staff, suitable for all the family.
