I have just returned from a two week stay at the Sirene apartments 31st July – 14th August 2008 Frankly, the party I was with were very disappointed with the basic apartments and the lack of business acumen. The kitchen consisted of a two ringed cooking facility a fridge some cutlery, plates glasses and cups and that's your lot. There wasn't a kettle or a toaster. Hence we ate out every night. However, The Greek night and food generally within the facility was good and reasonable. Air conditioning should you want it is 42 Euros per week The rooms were cleaned every other day and a clean towel ( of differing sizes) provided. The apartments are situated on a main road with a 20 min walk to Kalamaki. The road is very busy and if you have a family, I would suggest taking a taxi into the town should you go at night (5 Euros) The music within the pool bar was at times inappropriate and too loud .Greg this is not good for business. This and the arrival of one family in particular marked the exodus of the majority of the guests to other establishments (we went to the Rainbow nearby, again a family run business, nice clean pool, good food ,appropriate level of music with adult supervision behind the bar at all times.) The children of this one particular revisiting family were behind the bar at every given opportunity, Whilst the adults on at least one occasion that I know of, after drinking all day slated and mocked all the other residents of the apartments loud enough so everyone could hear. Should they read this, this behaviour is NOT big and its is NOT clever you will Not make friends and influence people like this –not that you care. I can only assume that Social Services are glad of the rest for three weeks every year. In Summary: All told we did have a wonderful time in Kalamaki, ,the weather was beautiful, we made some great friends and we have some brilliant memories. In regard to the Sirene , I like you Greg, you are a lovely person you and the ladies work very hard, but some words of advice from one business person to another, you potentially have a goldmine with the Sirene, refurb, cut the deadwood and take control of YOUR business. Good Luck for the future.

Heyup Sue & Brad just browsing through this page and spotted you here. Its Tony (ex sirene barman & karaoke host and general gofer) glad to hear your still going to gregs, we went out in may this year but couldnt stay at gregs as it was full so stayed at cavo d'ora but spent most time at gregs.off to bulgaria next month but already booked gregs for next may. still loads of people returning time after time dont understand what half of these complaints about sirene are about? suppose some people have nothing better to do. i definately agree with the comments from that alex person though. Top Place. ( bit better than yorkshire eh? haha) maybe see you soon
