Alkyonis Hotel

Just arrived back from the Alkyonis yesterday! This hotel was amazing. We stayed on a B&B basis and even though we didn't make it down for breakfast every morning it was well worth it! The hotel is family run, which makes it extremely cosy! Defo make sure you hire out a safety deposit box (10 euros) and a MUST is air conditioning for your room (15 euros).

Apartments are fine. Breakfast is toast, peaches, boiled eggs, cereals and biscuits if ur up for it. Sakis the barman is class, Tom is shy. Tommy the rep is funny as out but his pal Nathan who was repping the hotel while we were there is the best. There is a pool in the hotel even though ur told there isn't. Rooms are clean. Go to toad in the hole just doors away for any meal and u'll be happy. mmm chicken wraps....

Hey about 15 lads are heading from newcastle on julu the 16th just wondered what the beach is like and what the other guests in the hotel are like ? x

Well Ashleigh everyone was talking bout u and ur 'chick' saying how easy u both were! u need to grow up nd have some respect love, we were there to have a good time but as we were unable to get any sleep we didnt enjoy it at all! The only downfall of our holiday was introducing ourself to the scottish slags!

Hey Everybody! Well Zante is gr8 would recommend it too young n lively its fab, girls go "SINGO" bois go "SINGO". Hotel Alkyonis is fantastic its a family run hotel. Tom and Dennis are hot although Toms abit full of it me n my chick were pissed one nyte n he flashed at us, hes not all that down there . The only problem we had with the hotel was we neva got clean towels for about a week but wen i went an asked i got them so it was kool really. There is a pool on site which we neva knew we had so it was really nice. Wen we ate out we either joost stayed in the hotel "Chicken Nugats" were delish or either Blue Waves for breakfast . Everyone was very friendly apart frm a group of 4 english girls moanin face bitches eh jade? that was us that was playin the music nxt too you ur there on holz not in a funeral.Met 7 really nice guys frm London missin them all so much they were such a laugh dnt eva hink we were sleeping b4 7 in the mornin . The location of the hotel was gr8 its not 2far frm the strip or the beach. Also nuffin went missin frm our room either n we left our key in every nyte we went out. Me n My Chick hired out quads if u go u really need to get one there fast as n Zante is lovely we went all round it on them. I just wanna go back n i only got home yday, the weathers gr8, the ppl are gr8 its just Brill!!!!!

OMG! What a Fantastic time we had!! Me and my 3 mates went (14-28th July) Got back yesterday and now me and another mate r going bk end of August!

Ok The hotel was ab fab! its a family run hotel, They are lovely! so sweet! Especially Tom!!  oh and of course Dennis  Lol! Anyway! The Cleaners "Speaka no English" But manage to write a Perfectly spelt Note at the end of your stay saying "Tips for cleaners, Have a nice flight!"

Went 26th June - 3rd July, Loved laganas itself, great place to go and have a laugh!!  The beach was 2 mins up the road and we had a pool which the brochure said we didnt have!!  there was a lovely cafe up the road which made lush english breakfasts and sarnies!!! def recommend!!

It was OK but someone tried to batter our door down in the middle of the night, while we were asleep in bed. When we went down for breakfast the next morning, the owner told us we must pay 350 euro for the damage. The Thomson Rep was no help what so ever and told us if we didnt pay the police would have to be involved. We would have been better involving the police as we could have claimed this back on the insurance as it was an attempt break- in.  This made quite a big whole in our spends and as this happened the second night we were there, put a bit of a damper on the holiday for me and my mate who had to pay the bill.  The rooms are very basic and the owners give out the master key to your room very freely, so anyone can ask for the key to your room at any time and get it. However we did end up having a great holiday apart from the incident, but anyone reading this who is thinking of going with a family, I wouldn’t,bother while I was there the guests were all aged between 18 and 21 years. Its not a hotel for families. There are plenty of bars and restaurants around the hotel close to the beach. Just returned after 1 week.
