Kapsaskis Apartments(Apartments in Laganas) |
|
I was a rep last year and looked after the kapsaskis. The owner Mo is great and nothin is to much so dont hesitate to ask her for anything. the bars are only a short walk away. The accomodation is basic but its clean. I am going back this year to work in a bar. Laganas is a great place to go if you want a lively holiday. | |

It was the best holiday ever had, but thats a different story. The appt was very nice, roomy feel, felt good to be relaxed in there. the rooms were cleaned enough times and the appt was close to all ameanities. it was above a liqour store(like threshers) and once you make yourself known to be staying above, they give you free drinks and stuff like that, so be freindly to them and it will be well worth it.
Mo(the owner) was great, see see's all and knows all, she was very helpfull and has good knowledge of the island. she knows that we are lads on holiday and lads will be lad and allows you to get on with it, no restrictions on you - lets leave it at that.
It a lads holiday, 2 weeks, what more can you ask for except to have the freedom that you need on these holiday!!!
and we got it at the Kapsaskis Apartments.
Thanks MO

| I stayed in these apartments for a week after getting back on Sunday. They are basic but clean. You can hire a Safety Deposit Box for 10 Euros and a Fan for 10 Euros per week. Mo, the owner is quite nice and helpful. Most of the time here hot water is plentiful. The rooms are cleaned on a Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday only. I feel the Bins should be emptied every day and you only get a Bin in the Bathroom which I feel is not enough. The apartments when I stayed here were quite quiet but could sometimes be a bit noisy late on at night. The apartments are well located beside the Restaurants at Kalamaki Road. There are also Supermarkets and Money Exchanges next door. You are 2 mins from the top of the Main Strip where all the Shops, Nightclubs and Restaurants etc. are located. You get an excellent meal in Bolero Restaurant across the road from the apartments. The beach is about a 15 min. walk. You get the use of the Splash Pool which is also very nice. It is quite peaceful and is a short walk from Kapsaskis. These apartments do not have Kettles but the Billy Can does not take long to heat up. They also have a Fridge. Definitely bring your own Towels as you only get a very Small Towel supplied. You can also keep your room on for 25 Euros if you have a late or early morning flight home but ask for that early on in your holiday to make sure she can provide this depending on the flights she is expecting in that day. | ||||||||||

| I am booked in here to stay for a week which I did not request. Long story. Could someone please let me know what these apartments are like e.g. what basics do they exactly have? Are the bins emptied every day? Is there air conditioning? Do you get the use of a room if you have to be out by 12 and do not fly until later in the evening? Hope someone can help!! | |

| Basic accommodation, but clean and convenient. These apartments are on the Kalamaki road, rather than the main clubbing strip. There's a lot of noise from the bars opposite in the evenings, and particularly the penalty shoot-out place, but that all stops bang on midnight and you're just left with the occasional idiot pretending his scooter is a Harley Davidson. There are basic beds (a bit lumpy), no shower curtains and a bin for toilet paper. This is fairly typical for holiday apartments in the area. At least the pedal bin works, and hot water is available all day, which is more than some places. Power cuts are not unheard of - usually due to scheduled maintenance work on the supply - though because the water is pumped into a tank, you lose water at the same time. The rep put up a warning when a power cut was expected. Kitchen equipment is good - a fridge, two electric rings and utensils (including a tin opener). Fine for making breakfast, coffee, pancakes and the occasional packet pasta meal. Probably not enough to cater for a family though. Cleaning was done regularly and not too early. The house keeper wasn't around for a lot of the time I was there (though this may have been exceptional). The cleaner spoke good enough English to help me out though. Just be wary of asking the handyman to replace a bulb, as he got bits of it everywhere. Between the rep and the cleaner I was able to keep the room later than usual, for a fee. This was very helpful given that I wasn't flying until the evening. The rep was able to make sure that the next person coming into the room was someone arriving late. It's a short walk along roads to the beach, and there are small supermarkets nearby. There are better, less overpriced, supermarkets further away if you're willing to walk ('Dia', on the road to Zante town for local brands, or 'Zeus', further down towards Kalamaki, for imported). It's a fair walk to the pool you're recommended at Razis/Erieta, though there's a good snack/drinks bar there. You could always go down to the beach instead. | ||||||||||
