Just returned back from Zante today and this was our 5th visit to the Amaryllis Apts. This has to the best place we have ever stayed at. The staff are now like family to us and always remeber us every time we go back. Everything is so clean and I cannot fault the Amaryllis on anything. The staff they have are excellent, from the girls who work in the snack bar to Panos who is the barman. The weather was fantastic up in the 90's every day. I took along my parents and sister who had never been to Greece before and they are now wanting to book up to go back next year. I just want to say hi to Lola who works behind the snack bar and wish her good luck for the new baby that she will be having in September. Also hello to George who's brother owns the Amaryllis, hope you have a safe filght back to Finland and hopefully see you next year. I highly recomend the Amaryllis to anyone who is thinking of going to Kalamaki I am missing it already. ![]()

Yes, there is definately a kettle in the apartments. Sadly no toaster though. However, the shop do absolutely DELICIOUS fresh bread/loaves which is delivered a few times a day.
A bread roll & jam or cereals with a mug of coffee starts the day very nicely thank you very much. Don't cook breakfasts on holiday, get someone else to do it for us!!

| Am due to visit Amaryllis Aparthotel in June, can anyone tell me what the "kitchenette" facility in the apartment consists of, i.e kettle, toaster, electric rings etc. Will eat out at Lunch and Dinner but would like to know if breakfast facilities are available??? The family are not early risers!!!! | |

the one bed apartments are a good size and your son should be comfy in the living room, my two children have a sofa each in there. the washing/drying is handed in at reception and usually back the same day. can't remember the price but not too much I'm sure. you'll have a great time there, i can't wait till we go for our fourth time in august!!

We have been to Zante several times and have stayed in different accommodation each time. I can say with all honesty that the Amaryllis was the best accommodation by far. To have your sheets changed at least three times a week, was a joy. Usually you will get a change of bedding every seven days, and to have clean towels every two days exceeded our expectations. The rooms were clean and spacious and the cleaners managed to manouver around our daughters clothes etc. If I were to have a criticism then it would be that we would have liked a toaster in the room and it would have been helfpful to have access to a safety deposit box in the room rather than in the main foyer of the hotel.
If you are considering going to Kalamaki then try to stay at the Amaryllis.

Just come back from a week at Amaryllis. This is my 4th visit to Amaryllis as it is just sooo relaxing!
We have a ground floor two bed family room which is really big with loads of room for the kids mess! The air con was brill as it was 48 during the day due to heatwave and still hot at night. During our stay the island had a powercut I was so pleased as this hotel had a backup generator. (not things you usually check!) The hotel is always clean, the bedding is changed everyday. The pool and all the grounds are clean, would always recommend this hotel as friends have visted and enjoyed it and gone back too.

Just arrived home after staying at the Amaryllis for a week (June 12th -19th).Had a brilliant time. The hotel is beautiful set amongst lovely gardens and everyting is kept in tip top condition. Beds and towels changed every other day and even though we made the beds they were re made to perfection! Pool is beautiful and so warm. Plenty of sun beds around the pool also and a good kids pool too.Nothing is too much trouble for anyone here. You can hire a hairdryer for 10 e deposit, safe deposit boxes in reception, also games and a tv with comfy seating area, mini market on site which is cheaper than some of the others and a good bar with Panos working full speed. Showed us pics of his family...lovely man. Our kettle didnt work one morning, we reported it and by the time we came back in the afternoon it had been replaced.Would definately come back here.
Highly recommended. You will have a lovely time here. The only gripe is the Bizarro grand hotel next door which can be a bit noisy at times but that is no fault of this wonderful hotel. ENJOY
