Accommodation in Tsilivi

Lesley P

We have booked again for next year. We are going at exactly the same time as we did last year but it has cost us about £3oo quid more. Dont know why but we love the Admirals so much, we think its worth it.

Hi George. Keep up the good work

click to enlargeCame back from Admirals on the 11th August ( 2 adults, 2 kids ) and found it to be great. We have been to tsilivi a few times but first time at the Admirals. Plenty to do with the great entertainment provided and George was great. Rooms Bit on the small side but well kept by the cleaning staff. about 20 minute walk to the main tsilivi centre but loads of restaurants and bars about. Read plenty of bad reports before hand but would go back again with no worries! Only trouble is after coming back and looking to book up next year the same hotel at the same time is £350 dearer!! bit of a price hike so we are going to try another resort.

G A

not the best holiday weve been on. To much chlorine in the pool and not enough young kids around its more a teenagers hotel. couldnt fault the cleanliness new sheets and towels everyday! Its too far to walk into the centre of tsilivi if uve got small kids cos its all up hill. met some wicked ppl tho especially D & A  hope to c u again cos u made our holiday!!

Kirstie F

my family and i just got back from 2 weeks in the tsivili admiral and it was excellant.

the pools are a nice size ideal for kids and families and you are allowed allt eh inflatables in there as well. there is a bar that sells snacks etc at a good price.
location of it is nice and not far from the beach which is lovely.
lots of nice bars and restaurants, especially (pubs) two brothers and the kaliva pub which do nice cocktails. for restaurants try galinis which is just down the road from the hotel and calypso which were both lovely.
as for the entertainment there was different things every night a good one is men vs women and lots of activities to keep the kids busy and involved.
i would like to say a huge thanks to george who made us feel welcome and was a laugh and will miss him loads. cant wait to see him next year and have some drinks with him lol.
wont ever forget u getting gunged and dressing up as a women though george.
will post a pic sn when i have worked out how to.

Carrie C

we have just got back from 2weeks at the admirals, and we will definately go back.

having stayed at planos bay aptmts the previous 2years we were not sure what to expect, but it is every bit the same.
maid service was first class, with only 2days out the fortnight we didnt get clean linen etc.
pool, pool bar etc also very good.
if you are looking for a fun night at the karaoke, try Roscos Bar across the road just up from planos bay. (big red indian sign outside ) it is great and the staff are brilliant.

a huge thanks to Liz from Helensburgh for the help you gave me when my hubby was ill.it was much appreciated. Glad u were there.

Nick & Linda

Hi All,

Nice to hear from you Gill and you girls, Shaz and Claire. Wish we had spent more time with you too....we would have had a laugh!  Will post final pics when I figure out how.  Biggest surprise of the fortnight was Gill and Scott turning up who we met at Planos last year.....amazing!!  Hello to Craig and Shaun

Finally, a big thank you to the usual suspects....George, John Boy and Davey.  Interesting nights entertainment THAT night George.  You know.....when Sarah sold all the bingo tickets for you.  Enough said!!!

Only downside was the 3 hour delay at the third world toilet that passes as a departure lounge.  6 hours in total at the mercy of the rip-off sandwich seller who charged 11 euros for an inedible roll and a bottle of warm water!!

Not the Admirals fault though and I'd go back in a heartbeat

Sharon

Sorry for last message, not average, everything was top class!!

Just back from a great week at the Admirals excellent place to stay if you're up for a bit of a laugh, varied entertainment at night, got a bit crazy at one point (anyone there will know what I mean), but that's all part of the holiday, Kaliva bar behind apartments handy for a quick drink and a bit of shade, meals brill, staff really friendly.  Nick, still can't get over the stunned look when we turned up, worth every penny, ha ha!!!  Love to Linda and Sarah, missing you already, also hi to Sharon and Claire, and of course George, John-Boy and Dave, you lucky people still out there in the sun.  Hopefully see you soon love from Gill, Scott, Shaun and Craig (Dundee) xxx

Miss you lots George .  See you soon.  Loads of Love Sharon xoxoxoxox

Hi Margaret

I'm not sure how much it costs to get to Laganas. I think it could be around 12 euro. However if you ask at reception they will tell you and book your taxi. There is also a bus service but again ask at reception for times etc. Remember that most places (especially Zante town) have a siesta between about 2.30 to 6ish.
Have a great holiday.

Reece

You crack me up.  You are obviously obsessed with the Admirals and this website. You are consistent, I'll give you that but why oh why if you prefer a week with the red coats do you keep airing your views about this particular hotel? I totally agree that everyone should have their opinion and i don't understand why your first comment was erased but surely your weekly (sometimes daily) repetoir must be starting to bore even you.  I have visited the Admirals twice with my family and both times have been comfortable, fun and all in all a decent family package holiday which is what we paid for and expected.  We are now personal friends of the entertainment staff but I still feel I needn't be false with my opinions. Some nights were great, other nights we went elsewhere. You can't please all the people all of the time and most people accept that.
I can't be bothered to insert a million emoticons but if i did they would be happy, smiley and clapping.
Reece, enjoy your time at Butlins. Have you heard they are doing 'time share' now? You could go and stay in your own appartment every year for the next 30 years! Bliss!

Take care. Hello to everyone going to Admirals this year.
Love Vanessa xxx

the comments on here make me laugh so unreal

Not everyone likes the same but whilst we were staying at the Admirals, we ate at Perivoli. This is a restaurant that is set back on a lane only a five minute walk if that from the Admirals. There is an Indian man called Abraham who takes customers over. He stands on the pavement near to some go carts. The food was always fab and so was the service. There were 2 staff members in particular called Stella nd Philip who always made us welcome. We never had a bad meal there, it is a traditional greek taverna. We also had a couple of meals at the Golden Fish chip restaurant and again we never had a bad meal. It does depend on the individual though. We highly recommend the Admirals but it does get negative comments so take this into account as you cannot please everyone.

Have a great holiday

Martin W

We loved it too and cannot wait to go back in june. We cannot fault the apartments and the kids loved it. The entertainment was fantastic thanks to George who puts a great lot of time and effort into his job.

Debbie M

The Amirals is the most amazin hotel in Tsilivi!

I agree i loved it too

Helena W

We have been to tsilivi as late as the end of october, and although some restaurants and bars are starting to close down, there are still ample places to eat and drink. I know a lot of people who go there in october and most places are open. You usually find that the ones that start to close down are the ones that remain quiet even in peak season, such as those that are in quiet and secluded places, The ones on the main roads are certain to be open, so no worries there.

Margaret L

Please could anyone tell me if it is true that the shops and clubs close in October, we are going to Tsilvi in early October and not sure what to expect. we have been to Laganas in July and was so hot we thought we would try October please can anyone help, and if you know how far Tsilvi is from Laganas. Thank you

Debbie

do you not think that people may have actually liked it their and that its not just a fan club maybe its just not for you. i went in june and had a great time i liked it that much im going again next year.

Nick & Linda

I think the Admirals gets a lot of bad press from some on here.  If you want total peace and quiet....go elsewhere.  If you want fun and to keep kids entertained, then it's for you.  Time of year will play a part but so does attitude....if you set people up to have a bad time, they will.......end of.  See you all at the best hotel on the island in 10 sleeps..............eeekk.....dead excited!!

Lesley P

Helena, i think that you have hit the nail on the head with everything that you have said. We went to the Admirals on june 5th for 2 weeks and had exactly the same time there last year. We found it busier this year but still had a great time so i do think that alot depends on what time of year that you go. Have a great time when you go back. We are going again next year and it cannot come soon enough for us.

Hi George. Hope you are feeling better, Keep in touch, speak soon, Wayne, Les and kids x x

Helena W

Going back to the admirals on 7th September. It will be our 4th time staying at this hotel and our 8th time in Tsilivi. I personally really like this hotel. We have always been happy with the rooms we have had (ground floor facing pool), and the staff are great.

I do think that Cas is right in what she says - i too have experienced people leaving their litter all over the place, expecting the staff and other people to clean up after them, and it is very unfair that these people should be so inconsiderate. But on the other hand i have experienced this in other hotels in other places too. We went on an all inclusive to Rhodes last September and people were even worse there, because food and drink were on hand for most of the day and evening.

What a ''good holiday/hotel'' etc is for one person may not be good for another, because we all have different tastes and opinions etc, so i think it is important that people should be allowed to go to a place and judge for themselves. Also i think we must also take into account the fact that a lot depends on when you go on holiday. For example, June, July and August may be a lot busier than say September/october time when i go - hence the reason why i have never had a bad experience at the admirals.

Siani P

Im afraid Cas's comment was very uncalled for - whichever hotel you go you are gonna get some noisy neighbours - if you want a silent holiday with no one shouting and having a good time - save some money and spend a week in the library - im sorry but this hotel was an excellent place to go!! I read all the comments before i went and to be honest was a little bit sceptical but i can honestly say it was fab!! We had no noisy neighbours and the pool side was generally clean and tidy - the rooms were fine - if you want a five star room - go and stay in a five star hotel - this is a 3 star hotel and thats exaclty what the rooms are - they are clean and tidy and the maids were brilliant!

George is the best, most funniest and lovliest entertainer on the island and if you go to one of the other "civil" hotels with no "noisy neighbours" then yes you may get a good 10 hours sleep but you'll miss out on the most fantastic entertainment on the island with the best entertainer!
It was a brilliant holiday and the Admirals is a top place to stay - if it wasnt i wouldnt be on my way back in september!!

Well where do i start ,what a fantastic holiday we had.The entertainment staff were excellent lots to do day and night time ,everybody was catered for, you was included if you wanted to take part in anything they did if you didnt you wasnt bothered not like some holidays ive been on.

George and demetri and john was great, freindly ,and would go out of their way to make sure that you had a good holiday. This was my ist time to greece and i thought it was fantastic
we are going back next year and we hope that all the staff are going to be there.
The kids reps were brill even though my son wouldnt go to kids world he would rather stay with George and help him with the entertainment he even got his own t-shirt with entertainer on .
We met some nice people there so hi to denise and pete cause i know you read this and well see them next year as they are going back again.
I will finish with the rooms are kept clean and tidy, there is lots of trips with thomas cook and lots of nice places to eat and the people are very freindly .
This is to george you might be winning volley ball at the mo but wait till i get there next year then you will have competion  love to you all take care Mandy & Nige &Rob  xxxx ps you do a great job keep it up bfn xxx

Lesley P

We have been to the Admirals for 2 years running and had a great time on both occassions. What we noticed this year was peoples total disrigard for tidying up after themselves. We went this june and could not believe the amount of people who spend all day around the pool and not clean up after themselves. There were empty beer bottles, plates with half eaten food left from the pool bar and generally rubbish. People were even leaving dirty fag ends underneath the sunloungers when there were CLEAN, EMPTY ashtrays on every table around the pool. This is when it gets unclean and dangerous for the children. The man who cleans the pool and pool area did a fantastic job each evening, making sure that it was lovely and clean ready for the next day. So yes, the pool area did get untidy towards the end of the day, but i feel that this is down to individuals who cannot clean up after themselves.

Sharon D

A hotel is only somewere u sleep in i will give a honest view of it i liked it it was not the nicest  hotel i stayed in it had some problems but it was not that bad the rooms were cleaned everyday but i still had antsThe pool was clean enough bit noisey but it is a family hotel. The entertainment was the best (george) my daughter caitlin whom she loves and still talks about but overall a holiday is what u make it if you want a better hotel then go to a 4star one not a 2/3star hotel and pay a lot more for your holiday but overall enyone who goes to this hotel will either like it or hate it me i loved it but u make your mind up hopw you all have a good time here i did

Lesley P

When we booked for the Admirals, the travel agents told us that there was only Thomas cook/jmc that did the Admirals apartments, hope this helps

Hi to George

Stefan S

Had a really great time at the Admirals The rooms although a bit basic where kept exceptionaly clean by the friendly and hardworking cleaners. The entertainment team where really good aswell George and johnboy thanksfor all the Orangey drinks Rangers 4eva Will deffo return sometime Stef and Jacqui from Derby

Nick & Linda

Hi

We're returning on the 20th July for our third holiday at the Admirals.  Get the drinks ready George....we're getting a thirst on!  Sarah will be with us and she's dead excited.  Recommend this hotel highly...you will not be disappointed.

See you soon Tsilivi

Sharon D

The admiral apartment are ok not the biggest but u would be better taking extra nappies as they are very expensive over there about 12euros for 32 pampers but it up to you hope it helps wipes are 6euros for 2packs and i was there in may this yr    sharon

Stefan M

Tongue Myself and my family have just returned from the Admirals after a 2 week holiday and we had NO PROBLEMS. The apartments were cleaned every day and we had clean towels and sheets every 2nd day and the pools and pool areas were cleaned every night There is entertainment but we tend to do our on thing. PissedThe only problem is the airport it is a nightmare you have to queue for about 1 and half hours to get in and then you have stand and wait on your flight as they have taken out all the seats. This is not the fault of the tour operators but however runs the airport.Apart from that we had a great time

Lesley P

We have returned from our 2 week stay at the Admirals and yet again we had a fantastic time. The cleaning staff did another fantastic job and so did the man who cleans around the pool. The complex was very clean again, the only let down was some of the people who spent their time around the pool and left all of their rubbish and empty beer bottles and glasses there when they had finished. There is really no need for this as there are bins on every corner of the complex around the pool. The entertainment was fantastic again, thanks to George who does an excellent job and works hard to keep everyone happy. The weather got hotter and hotter in the second week so i would recommend the air conditioning as this was fab. It is 5 euro a day but is well worth it. We met some great people there, Hi to T.Js mum if you read this. We hope you got home safely. Also, Hi to Scruff and family. We are looking at returning next year as we could not fault the holiday. We are missing the place already.

Sharon D

hi george my friend hope you still enjoy it out there caitlin misses you so do we all hope to come out nxt yr

George A

Thanks for all the comments, positive and negative. we do try to take heed of what people say and not just the good things. Only thing that disappoints me is that I thought this web page was for commenting on your holiday and the accomodation etc... Not for making comments about individuals that are, at the very best, ambiguous.

Siani P

Came back from the Admirals last week and we had such a mega mega time - we loved it!! George was brill and hopefully will keep in touch!! Everyone is very very friendly!Rooms were cleaned daily - the entertainment was brill!! I would defo go back and we are thinkingof going back in september! We met loads of friends! The weather was hottish but we didnt care as the poolside entertainment kept us busy!! If you read this George - i have emailed you on the address you gave me so mail me back as soon as you can!! We have some cracking photos to show you!! Hope Steve, Paul and family are still having fun and say hi from us!! We really really enjoyed the hol!! Please please please please do not listen to any bad comments about this apartment - it was brilliant - top marks to Admirals!!!!!!!!!!!

Great for a family holiday and we are hoping to return again this year Aug 2006. Went there last year Aug 2005 with Annette my wife and two children Sophie and Callum aged 12 and 10.My sister and her family also came with us and they will be going back again with us this year. Always something to do in the hotel  every  night and day. Lots of good value for money restaurants within 5 mins walk. Local sandy beach to the rear of hotel about 5 mins walk with a couple of swimming pools and bistro's if you needed them. Hotel has two nice pools one shallow one for smaller children. Entertainment staff (particularly Mike ) were a scream. Hotel staff friendly and helpful particularly the cleaners. Rooms were a bit small but fine for our needs. Air con would be of benefit but that would hike the cost up.Could get a bit noisy in the night as there was always something on but nothing that prevented us from getting to sleep. Centre of Tsilivi about 15 mins walk and plenty to do up there once you have done all the restaurants and bars around the hotel.

Debi C

Annette

My son is 13 and he was kept entertained in the day with water volley ball, killer pool and lilo racing.
We've been to the Admirals for 3 years on the run now and he's loved it ! There is also a kids club for the younger ones so maybe your 5 year old would enjoy it there. In the evening the children don't get left out, the staff try to do something for everyone, i hope your children enjoy dancing ! I hope that helps

Andrew

We went to the admirals between 7th and 21st May. The rooms are very basic but since they are only a base it was all we needed. The staff were helpful but very relaxed the idea of jumping to fix something must have seemed alien to them! we waited 2 weeks for them to fix the safe in the room for us to put or stuff in (it wasnt fixed when we left!). A heated pool would have been nice! It was bloody freezing! We had a fantasic time the kids loved it the people are so friendly the Kalivas bar around the back and the Caravel hotel bar were fanbtastic plenty for the kids to do in both bars! I would recommend this hotel and definaty go back! have fun!!! P.s. DONT take the public bus to Zante town there were about 200 people crammed on it when we went (people fell of when the doors were opened!), and our kids were squashed and very frightened!the only bad experience on our hol!

Sharon D

HI REESE sorry that u didnt enjoy ur holiday but not everyone sayed posstive things i had ants in my room out toilet kept getting blocked and we did complain about the noise and george did turn it down  we did eventualy get the toilet fixed and the hole in the floor but i also think that a holiday is  wat u make of it im so sorry you didnt enjoy it maybe you will go somewere better nxt time.

Sharon D

Hi Angela, I liked the admirals  i think it should be ok but u do have to walk for about 20.30 min to get to the main town we took our son during school holidays in may and there was a lot of kids for him to play with and the have a good kids club with crazy kay and amazing emma so i hope you have a good holiday and say hi to george the entertainer for me and tell him caitlin his little chicken misses himthat my 2yr old daughter

Lesley P

Hi Reece. I was wondering what time of the year it was when you went to the Admirals as it sounded dreadful. We went last year in the first 2 weeks of june and it was nothing like that. We have done the Butlins thing and did not like it at all and had a fantastic time at the Admirals. There were no dirty pool or broken glasses and there were plenty of sun loungers and lots of room in the pool. We cant wait to go back.

Vanessa S

Go to www.bbc.co.uk/weather and put in Zante. The weather is going to be fabulous.

Hi George will e-mail soon with pics of our bowling alley! Dean's coming to see you in September.
Vanessa

Vicky A

We got back from Tsilivi Admirals yesterday and none of us wanted to leave.  My Mum, Dad, brother, myself, my husband and my three children all loved it .

The hotel was much better than we expected and the staff are all fantastic, George is great with the kids and the adults.

We will definately go back, hopefully very soon, it was the best holiday my family and I have had in a very long time.

I hope everybody that is going there this year has as fantastic a time there as we did.

Sharon D

hi lesley its new 1s at kids club but they are very good its kay and emma my son loved it with them

Lesley P

Siani, i dont think that you have anything to worry about. Yes, they do bingo and battle of the sexes and stuff but if you dont want to take part, there is definetely no pressure, we didnt. Last year, they did water volley and lilo races that everyone appaered to love taking part in. It was very good entertainment for the kids and if you dont mind children, you should be fine. There were people there last year that had obviously gone as a couple to have a quiet time and disliked children being there. However we never saw any badly behaved children, just children having a wonderful holiday. We have been to Butlins in the past and did not like it but this holiday we loved. Hope this helps

Lesley P

we are going back to the Admirals on the 5th of june and cant wait. Does anyone know if happy hazel and jolie jodie are running the kids club again this year?. Also, is the weather due to stay hot? We are so looking forward to going back.

Annemarie

Thanks for that sue.

Sue S

. We stayed at the Admirals from the 4/5/06 and apart from our extremely noisy neighbours we had absolutely no complaints at all, the entertainment (Hi George "ooh Betty that's nice") was second to none and bar service(Hi John, Sponge Bob, ) was absolutely fab, the staff were so friendly and we made loads of new friends, as 2 girls going away for a relaxing week we were not in any way disappointed and we hope to go out again later in the year, this hotel offers clean functional rooms , with a fantastic maid service who were always happy to help, but for myself and Jen it was the bar and entertainment staff that made our holiday, Pool volley Ball anyone!!!!!!!

Jules P

Been to Tsilivi before and stayed at the Planos Apartments which were great. This year have booked to go with my sister and we're due to stay at the Admirals.

Heard mixed reviews and wondering if anyone can help.

Annemarie

Hello, stopping at Admirals in September can anyone advise me of the bathroom situation? Is there a bath or is it showers? My 2 year old never had a shower before so I will let her practice if there are no baths. many thanks in advance.

Lesley P

Hi Katrina. We booked last year for the Admirals and i went onto the review sights and was that apalled with what i read, i very nearly cancelled. The only reason that i didnt was because it would have cost too much. Anyway, we got there and it was fab. The best holiday that we have ever had and i was gutted when we had to leave. My 2 boys were 8 and 11 at the time and they had the time of their lives. There were no broken bottles or dead mice. There were plenty of sun loungers (we went in the first 2 weeks in june) and the reps and staff were brill. We enjoyed it so much that i booked again on the same day that we got back. We are going again soon and cannot wait.Hope this will help to put your mind at rest.

Vanessa S

Hi

We've been to the Admirals twice now with our 9 yr old son and both times have been fantastic. The room are cleaned daily with fresh towels/bedding every other day. The reception staff are freindly, the reps are great and the entertainment staff are superb (Hi, George, John and the gang!). Yes it can get noisy but hey it's full of families. The pool is kept clean and the food at the poolside bar is wicked (Nikos the chef looks a bit scary but give him a smile and he softens up!!). You'll have a great time I'm sure. There's family entertainment in the evenings - Kareoke/bingo/quiz/disco and kids clubs through the day.
Have a great holiday.
Vanessa

Helena W

Hi John,

Some of the rooms do have air con, but some don't. You could always hire a fan from reception though, and they do have plenty of supply. We only had to hire one from 3 nights, and was charged a couple of euro's per night. it wasn't much, i know that.

Lol the zante star and the admirals are at opposite ends of the resort. To walk from one hotel to the other would take about 45 minutes. Someone else left a message on the zante forum, asking the same question - don't know if that person was connected to you or not? The person who posted on the other site had family or friends who were going to be staying at the admiral, whilst they themselves were staying at the zante star.
The good thing is that between the two hotels, lie an ample amount of bars and restaurants, so if you were hoping to meet up with people from the other hotel, then you could always meet in town. That way there is less walking distance for both parties. Just for future reference - a taxi would cost you around 6 or 7 euro's.

hope this helps.

Mark G

we havent been to admirals before but we are going this summer in August and my daughters friend has been and said it was amazing if anyone could give me more detail then please email me. Thanks

Michael G

Jack,

You've got it right. Same place, just called different names by different people. I've worked at this hotel for two years and without being bias, i can't fault it. Unfortunately I can't make it back this year but if the staffing is as good as the last few years you'll have a great time. If you would like a more detailed description then forward me your email address to hotelentertainer@yahoo.co.uk and I'll send you some more details.

A big sorry to all those who were expecting to see me, hopefully I'll be able to holiday in the Admiral Hotel myself sometime this summer.

Jack W

Hi all. I've just booked to go here - or I think it's here. Does anyone know if this is the same place as the Tsilivi Admirals apartments? I'd be grateful to know. If it's not the same place does anyone have any views on the apartments? There seem to be an array of Admirals on Zakynthos.

Thanks a lot.
Jack

Back once again in May! Can't wait, yaaaaay

Michele C

Well Hi all, Just a short note about the Tsilivi Admirals. I was there in May last  year.  I work for Thomas Cook, and since you can only book through JMC I decided to go. We always had mixed reviews about it.  I read all the comments on holidays uncovered, and thought oh my god what have I done. I have a 6 yr old daughter and obviously my holidays are not just about partying its about entertaining her. My mum and my daughter both came with me and we were there from the 01 May - 16 May 2005. My god did we have a great time or what. All the entertainment staff were amazing. George John Michael Ben Darren and Daniel and also the JMC reps we had a wicked time. The Kaliva Bar should be nominated the best bar in Tsilivi. The day we came back I went into work and booked again for Sept for 1 week. Thats how great it was. Also couldnt believe just how many of the Locals actually recognised us when we wnt back in Sept.  When we went round to the Kaliva Bar they automatically sent drinks over for us free of charge, then never charged for our meal.  Even the shop owners remembered us.  Greek people have to be the nicest in the world.

So Im begging all you who are going this summer and you are reading all the negative comments about this accommodation, please do not take it to heart. If your looking for a holiday thats not just about lying on the beach, or going out and getting pissed, and you want entertained then this is the place for you.  Anytime anyone comes into my shop asking for a holiday in Zante but they dont want to go to Laganas then I would always recommend Tsilivi after that.

Michael if you read then I hope you know that when I come out in Sept 06 I aint getting involved in any of the battle of the sexes comps then going through to Laganas and then running into the sea in the buff....(but that was one helluva night) lol

Lesley

Hi cheryl. we stayed at the admirals last year . there were 4 of us (2adults and 2 boys aged 8 and 12) and it was the best holiday that we have ever had. The day that we returned to england, we booked again for the same time this year. We went in june and it was lovely. There was a 2 ring cooker in our apartment and the apartments were spotless. There has been quite a bit of negative feedback about the Admirals, i dont know if the people complaining went there at peak times, so it may have been more rowdy then. We went in june and it was great. there were plenty of sunbeds to go around and there was no trouble with anything. i must admit though, a few days before we left, there were quite a few young groups arriving and it did become alittle noisier. Perhaps if we had gone a few weeks later it may have been different. The kids absolutely loved it and the reps at the kids club were great. I am sure you will have a great holiday. A holiday is what you make it.

Gill M

wellda best ma hols were brill loved da hotel and da staff (john micheal george) u were all brill would love  2 cm bck best holiday place eva

Luke D

Tsilivi is by far the best place we have ever been to we really, really enjoyed it. It was so clean and wasn't very loud there was sports you could take part it in the pool it was absoloutly brilliant. If you ever go to Tsilivi i think everyone must go on one of the boats that take you around the island and to the shipwreck. The Admirals Appartments were also brilliant the first night we got there they said the first 10 people into the pool win a free drink and i was one of them i had all my clothes on and the free drink was a drink of the pool water But everyone was having a wicked time so nobody was really bothered.

Louise K

just want to let everyone know that if you want to have a good time plz stay here it is fantasic and the people are graet thanks for letting me make cocktails and making my holiday the best time of my life it lou and karl hope you remember us all our love always xxxx

Louise K

Annemarie L

Thank you to those who replied to my plea! I am sure we will have a great time, I will post a message here when we come back with hopefully some good comments. We have been to Tsilivi before and stayed at the Filoxenia which was fantastic. Really looking forward to going back and seeing whats new and seeing all at the family rest. Thanks again, hia louise!

Vicky W

Anne Marie. you will love Tsilivi and I think you will like the Admirals too, but each to their own. I have been to Tsilivi 3 times and am due to return in May with my boyfriend. In the past I have holidayed in Tsilivi with my mum, dad and two young brothers. The children loved The Admirals, and so did we. There is a kids club in the day, who are brilliant with the children and the childrens evening entertainment was good too. however, we did go out of the hotel in the evening to other venues, as  afterall, we wanted to explore Tsilivi, not just stay in the holtel every night. We found the pool to be clean, the apartments are clean too, and the maids are brilliant. There are expected to be teenagers around, as it is a family hotel. in-terms of noise, we stayed in the third and fourth rooms next to the pool area on the groung floor and didn't hear a sound, sleeping perfectly well.

As for Tsilivi itself, there are lots of restaurants to choose from which provide a range of delicious food, english and greek. lots of bars to choose from too, from quiet to lively disco bars and also those who entertain children with a play area and videos. The trips in Tsilivi are great too, i would reccomend the boat trip around the island.

I really do hope that you enjoy your trip to Tsilivi and your stay at the Admirals!

Caroline B

Hi Annmaria you will have a great time, don't worry. You are going in September which is a great month. Iv had a moan on here but we paid a lot for our hol as it was in the height of the season, if it had been a budget deal I could not have complained. We still enjoyed the holiday and the island is fab, so much to see and do, the trips were brill. . The enterainment in the evening and around the pool side is ok, but watch your little one as the some of the teenagers get rather excited, but as you are going in September it should be ok. Also wear ear plugs in the pool and sea, my hubbie got an ear infection from swimming which ruined 3 days of his holiday, poor thing. The doctor adviced us we should all wear ear plugs to avoid infections and expense. The fee and medication was over 150 euros, so take some money for emergency just in case and have a good holiday insurence, the unexpected can happen.  You will get some sleep, the noise usually stops at about two am or before, we were in the back of the hotel, not near the pool so it was quieter. The apartments are small but really clean, the maids are brill at changing your towels and sheets, and so friendly. Have a great hol

Caroline B

Yes, I totally agree with your comments, lets not get to personal about other people's negative comments either, freedom of speech and all that, which was my point in the first place Other people have a right to add their views even if they have not enjoyed Admirals and should not get crap messages back about their reviews, if you read the past messages you'll read there is alot of personal comments going on, mostly from people who go back year after year. This message board is really great because it reflects true comments, which keeps it interesting. If you read a message board with all great comments you would be rather suspicious anyway, because no hotel can ever get it 100% right.

Anyhow point taken, lol hope you have a great hol at Admirals this year, and if they continue to improve their service maybe I will go back sometime, for another lilo race which was great fun.

Annemarie L

Staying at the admirals from the middle of September and was looking forward to a really nice, relaxing break with my husband and 2 girls aged 10 and 2. I have read all reviews here and on holidays undercover and it sounds terrible! Can anyone tell me the good points of the admirals? I don't like cross dressing, bingo nights, sounds like blackpool! But these can be avoided easily by going out for the evening, what I want to know is am I likely to get any sleep at all? I have read reports of people screaming and carrying on till 5am, and thats just the kids! Please tell me its not soooooooo bad? Please!

Beth

Caroline, i'll be honest with you. i don't particularly like negative comments, as i have visited the Admirals many times and have always had a great holiday. I do like to read people's opinions, but not comments made about other messageboard members. Let's not get too personal, eh? And as for the ignorant teenage visitors comments, the Hotel can't choose who stays and who doesn't, as they don't know any of them personally if you get what i mean. Not the hotel's fault if irresponsible parents can't discipline their kids.

Ruth, completely see where you comin from. All the staff do their best. It's quite a responsibility to look after such a large accomodation.

Does anyone think this is more like a forum, not a messageboard?lol

Caroline B

Hi Ruth, your the lady that doe's not like negitive comments about Admirals, not sure why you continue to keep logging onto the site, because you will always have negitive feedback even 5 star hotels don't always get it right. 'Yes' the pool was dirty late afternoon in August and thats to be expected with so many people using it. My husband did get an ear infection from the pool which the Doctor who visits Admirals on a regular basis put down on his medical form. As regards to the sun beds....there are not enough, Im afraid thats a 'fact', but there never is anywhere unless your going 5 star, so you can't expect it. Lets just hope the Reps and hotel manager read thegood comments and the negative ones to improve the hotel in general, so everyone can have a better service, not only the chosen few. Thats what the comments are all about , its not a fan club site after all, but a service we have all paid for.

Ruth W

dirty pool? never found that to be a problem. Sure there's some people let their kids run wild. I've got 2 kids and I let them run. Wouldn't like to think they were in the "wild" category and as far as shortage of sunbeds is concerned, if you know the towel owners aren't going to be there til 12 noon, then move the towels. I did The reps and staff do their best to please us but we all know you can't please everybody. We all look for different things in a holiday so if you find that a particular resort does't suit then you learn from your mistakes and not return.

Caroline B

In reply to Leslie, ''I think you're spot on'', we went in the Summer hols, (middle of August), and maybe it would have been better if we had choosen another month less busy. The hotel itself was extremely clean, and Zante a beautiful island . Hope you have a great holiday when you go back, it will bet great to read your new comments. when you get back.

Lesley

my family and i stayed at the hotel in the first 2 weeks of june last year. We have been to numerous places abroad before but found the Admirals to be the best holiday yet which is why we are going back this year. we found the entertainment very good, and the entertainers where not at all pushy for you to join in. The rooms were clean and we thought ideal as really they are only to sleep in. At the time that we went, there were not too many children. My children were 8 and 11 and i have to say that we watched them at all times as we would anywhere else. I dont like to see parents on holiday who allow their children to run wild as it spoils it for other people and you can never be too carefull. I do have to say though that a few days before we left, there were people and families coming into the hotel who were very loud so i was glad that we were leaving as i think that maybe they would have spoiled it alittle. Maybe the people who complained about parents letting their children run wild went at the wrong time, i dont know. I hope that we enjoy our holiday there this year as much as we did last year. Hello to george and the entertainment team, hope you are still there in june.

Caroline B

In reply to Mick B......Yes I totally agree with you, we could not believe how many young kids were running around without parental control, I saw a couple of near misses with little kids falling into the dirty pool due to pushey teenagers. The people who go back time after time hate the negative comments on this site, but they can't all be wrong can they. Also, if these people never go anywhere else they have nothing but Admirals to judge their holiday by. My holiday was not to bad, but it was not good either, and neither was it cheap like everyone keeps saying.   I just wish the REPS would read all the comments and try to improve the place so that everyone could enjoy it. The really good thing about this place is that its really clean, the rooms are small but very clean which is more important.

Lets hope we ALL have a great holiday this year where ever we go, and take care of the kids  because accidents can happen anywhere 'even on holiday.'

Emma J

i think the admiral is a nice hotel and the entertainment was great i stayed thier for a week in june. its a shame so people just go on holiday to moan about everything! the staff do a great job!.

Mick B

We stayed here 2 years ago and we had a crap two weeks, it was only the fact that one of our friends knew people that lived and out in Zante, and gave us their addresses, two owned restaurants and one owned a small appt block with a nice pool where we spent most of the day and night. There was NO Parental control what so ever and kids as young as six running around the main pool at two in the morning and could easily have slipped into the deep end. The reps had no idea what so ever we had to complain about the music next door which went on untill 5.30 most mornings she did nothing untill i said if she didn't then i would.

There were no sun beds, (220) unless you got down by the pool by 7.30 in the morning as most of the people there put their towels on the sunbeds, but didn't come out untill 12.00 totaly inconsiderate, and we bang on about the Germans. We just used the Admirals it to sleep. We like to have a party and a laugh, but this place was a total waste of space, with parents who couldn't give a stuff about what their kids got up to.

Ruth W

Hi Michael, just want to say that the entertainments team do a great job and it's impossible to keep everyone happy We stayed at the Admirals 2 years ago and then we stayed at the Planos Appts last October. This year we're returning in may to the Admirals and can't wait so we'll see you then and keep up the good work

Caroline B

Inaddition, HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone who visited Admirals, whether they enjoyed it or not. Lets hope 2006 will be even better .

Caroline B

In reply to Michael's comment, Im glad you read the bad comments, please take note of them and you might just improve your service for everyone to enjoy. Our holiday was ok but ruined by the few kids who were rude and pusing all the little kids over at the pool side. Your comment about old people enjoying themself at Admirals....it would be the holiday from hell for them. I take it by old you mean anyone over 80. They would hate all the loud voice by the poolside, late at night, and the hotel is to far from the shops and beach for them. Admirals Im sure is visited again by the few who really enjoyed themself here. The hotel is really clean and some of the entertainment great fun....just try and take note of all the bad comments to build on and you will have a really good hotel for EVERYONE to enjoy.

Michael G

Hello is all old guests who are to return and an even bigger hello to all guests who are yet to arrive. My name is Michael and I have been the barman / entertainer at this hotel for the past two years. I have read good comments about the hotel and I was also read bad comments about the hotel. In brief the Admiral Hotel is a family complex which can offer a range of activities for both young and old people. It has a seven day entertainment schedule that includes water volleyball, lilo races and games by day and the classic bingo, karaoke and quizzes by night. Although we do have a set schedule this can be changed due to weather, popularity and of course what you the GUEST would like to do.

We do try to cater for everybody's needs and some complaints are made. However we try to deal with each problem there and then and I urge you to listen to the good comments. We have had guests who return each year because of the experience they have had.  I promise you'll have a great time here and a holiday to remember. If you would like more details about this hotel then email me on hotelentertainer@yahoo.co.uk I look forward to your emails and maybe seeing you this summer at the Admiral Hotel

Good Luck

Michael

Laura B

i didn't stay at the admirals but i did stay at the planos bay across the road. however i did visit the admiral and i can honestly say that both hotels are gerat but planos bay beats admiral any day. it's fun, clean and the entertainment team are great. at planos there is loads for young children to do and the entertainment people are always looking for ways to entertain them. i suggest to anyone that if you are planning on going to tsilivi than go to planos bay. u will have a great time. we did!!

ps: lesley. i also know george. iv spoken to him recently and he should either be workn at planos next year or him and the bar man lee from planos are opening a bar. if you see him plaes tell him i sed hi. thanx!!!!

Caroline B

In reply to Dave's message. Quiet people do know how to have fun but not in other people's faces. Admirals is o.k for teenagers but not really for young children. There was no respect shown to some of these poor mites who were often pushed out of the way by teenagers running wild around the pool side when I went in August. The hotel is clean and the cleaning staff fantastic. I felt sorry for them having to clean up vomit left from teenagers who had got drunk and left their mess for everyone else to clean up. I am not anti teenagers and went to Admirals with my two teenagers but they respected that not everyone wants screaming kids in your face all day. When you work  hard all week its nice to go on holiday torelax and chill as well. And to save the screaming to the evening when you can club, dance and sing until your hearts content.

Dave S

I stayed at the Admirals in July 2005 with two friends and it was the best holiday I have ever been on. I don't know why all these people continue to call the admirals as is it a great place. These people that want quietness on holiday don't deserve to go on holiday, as a holiday is about letting yourself go and having fun. Everything at this place was great. We never stayed around for the entertainment, but the bar across the road, Roscos coctail bar, was a great place to start a night out. Fortes, the owner, was a legend. The night club in Tsilivi, Enigma, was ok but if you want night life you are better off in Laganas and do the bar crawl with Admirals if they still do it.

Does anyone know what has happened to the two greatest reps that Amirals has ever had, Dave and Laura. These guys were great. Dave was the funniest guy i have ever met. I will be going back to the Amirals in the near future

Julie L

Stayed at Admirals in October 2004, hated every minute of the 7 days we were there but really liked Tsvili, returned this October 2005 and stayed to 2 weeks at the Alamis.  Visted the Admirals to see if anything had changed! Yuk! even worse.

Our time there was full of children running around causing havoc! bad language and behaviour!  The room was reasonable but very dirty and balcony unsafe!  Pool area very small considering the volume of people, the entertainment had no respect for people with young children, just a few crummy videos.

The only plus was that we discovered Buka Beach which was great for young children to snorkel, fish and it was kept very clean.

I have travelled for 20 years and can honestly say even if it was free wouldnt return to the Admirals.

we had a realy massive time the whole place was great but the staff even better.
this was the third time we went to zante and was the best time yet

Will R

The hotel was in a great location next to buka beach with juicy lucie fruit salad and his fan club back home in England, however it makes up for the rude staff and rubbish Greek nights and the dicey accommodation. The cleaning lady was lovely, but the shower room was a disgrace. The showers leaked, it was the size of a brick, spraying all over the place. Also only got 13 nights, but paid for 14. Nobody at Thomas Cook cared about this rip off. If you ask me the accommodation was preposterous, but the beautiful views and lovely local people made this holiday worth while.

Nikki S

The apartments were ok not very clean and the bathroom best not to say anything i think, but the Reps  Laura and Colin were great i got bit by a mosquito and got blood poisoning and needed to see a doc which they sorted very quickly and also advised us on places to visit on the island as Tsilivi was very quite and boring at this time of year.

Michelle C

hi to everyone we love it we have been to the admirals 5 years running..
hello to everyone who are working at the admirals.see you next year.

Wendi S

Hi everyone!

I have been reading peoples comments on the Admirals aparthotel on various websites and message boards etc. There seems to be a lot of negative things being said.
My partner and i have booked a week break along with our little boy on the 22nd sept 05 (this thurs) to zante to stay at the admirals. After all i have read, i am still really looking forward to our holiday. We have not been abroad for 3 years now and have saved for months to go. I can honestly say i wouldnt care if i stayed for a week in a cardboard box, as long as the weather is nice and there are some things to do in the evening. I have paid £343 for all of us to go which is very good, including flights transfers etc. I think as long as you dont spend the week picking holes in things which are wrong with the hotel and just enjoy the week you have in another country then you cant go very wrong. I will MAKE it enjoyable and i will post a comment on here when i get back just to let others know what sort of time we had!
Im off to pack - cant wait now - 4 days to go!!!

Thanks everyone x

ok, firstly whats with the chavs? the hotel very noisy the appartment-average, the bathroom uhh shabby, the shower-? theres about enogh space for a rabbit. Buka beach is very nice particularly the juicy lucie fruit salad man and sonic (one of bar men at alexandra beach bar) the swimming pool too crouded and the receptionists grumpy monotonus ....people. if you want a nice relaxing holiday away from chavs do not go here!

Kelly

this holiday park was so good, the maids are brilliant and freindly.there is really good entertainment.and  i met lots of nice people i  would definetly go here again

In addition regarding Ruth's comment about having fun, the other people and myself who have put negative feedback on here do know how to have a good time  WE just don't do it at the expence of others. Try not to be so sensitive to the views of others and you may see some truth in what you read. Other peoples views are what makes life interesting  and fun.

Caroline B

Hi just to add to Ruth's comment. We have a right to freedom of speech and if you don't like the bad reviews then don't keep going onto the web page. You will always have good and bad reviews which is only fair. Different people seek different things out of a holiday and it would be a shame if we were all the same. If someone is planning on going to Admirals they have a right to review the good and bad comments it might help them to decide if its the right place for them. I read the bad reviews before we went and actually they were spot on. Admirals might be great for you but not so for everyone. This web page gives a good all round view of peoples experiences which is fair and true, not all good but not all bad either.

Ruth W

Will someone please set up a special complaints site for the Admirals so people can post their views on there instead of here? I'm fed up listening to people who don't know how to have a good time and can't concentrate on agreeing with the other people who obviously like to enjoy themselves!

Caroline B

Just got back from a week at the Admirals. We booked the holiday over the phone back in november of last year. We told the guy on the phone we were travelling as a couple, without our children, and would like a lively place to stay, that reflected this.  Well, Admirals is definatley lively, but not quite what we had in mind having left our 6 at home!!  If your travelling with children between ages, say 8 - 15 then i reckon that they will have the time of their lives, if like us youre going as a couple, to get a break then its a BIG BIG no no!!   The entertainment bloke, Michael was good. he got the kids and their parents up and moving but the evening entertainment was poor. Yes, i know its great if you were there with your kids, but remember we werent, its just not what we expected.
Apartments themselves were crap, one room with double and two singles squashed in, a kitchen (hahaha) well, a microwave, fridge sink, and a bathroom with a curtainless shower.  NO AIRCONDITIONING, so you need to hire a fan, except i didnt, i nicked one. Gave it back tho. In fairness if its a family holiday you want, you will have a ball, but dont go for a week of long lie ins, relaxing round pool and lotsa sex (rooms walls so thin you darent do too much!!) if you want a couples holidays.

Would I go back? to Admirals, obviously not, to Tsivili, probably not either.

My third attempt of writting my comments on this web site, does not appear to like what Iv wtitten.

So a short comment I will write.
If you like Butlins your love Admirals, if you hate it stay away.
lots of safety issues around the pool side regarding infections and risk of drowing, we're surpised nobody got more hurt than we saw due to amount of lios in the very small pools. Ear infections  here we come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
where are all the sun loungers do peple take them home in their suit cases???.  Shame on Admirals for having too few for such a large hotel.Who wants to get up at 8.30 am every morning just to get a lounger!!!!!!!!!!!!.
Kids clubs a shamble and  disabled children not allowed!!!!!!!!! Reps get some training and be more professional in your approach please to enable you to have some control over the few teenagers who wanted to ruin it for others.
Cleaning staff were brill, we were in block F and out cleaner was the greatest. Shame the reception staff were so moody, a smile costs nothing!!!!!!We met some lovely guests at Admirals which was a bonus but we will not go back Im afraid unless the Reps make some radical changes.
Zante is beautiful and the beaches lovely but the trips expensive if you have a large party. Our thanks to Sue the Karoke entertainer in the pub near the hotel who made our holiday fab. She is great with the kids letting them have fun but also keeping them under control so the adults can have some fun as well.

Kelly S

If anyone has any recent photos from the Admirals of the bar staff and reps and the normal photos you take arond the hotel I would apreciate it if you could send them to kellysm1th@yahoo.co.uk as I made common mistake of putting film in suitcase and they havent come out. Thank you

Kelly S

I got back from the Admirals yesterday were i went with my 8 year old daughter and my mum. We stayed in 1 of the studios were yes the rooms are a bit small but for the amount of time you spend in them it really isnt a problem though we did find taking a shower a bit difficult without flooding the bathroom but it was easily cleaned up. The rooms were cleaned every day and there were people walking around constantly tidying up arond the pool and snack bar area. My daughter prefered to stay in the pool ajoined to the baby pool as it got less crowded.

For a family hotel I found I really did get what I paid for. My daughter enjoyed the kids club's though didnt go all the time as we wanted to do other things and yes you do have to pay for the 3 hr session it will either be a slumber party or a spooky party it is 15 euros but what hasnt been said in everyone elses is that that is to put money towards them having there faces painted and they also supply the children with party food including sandwiches so its not really that bad.

Entertainment wise there is stuff going on by the pool after lunch which Michael really did try and get people involved in and there is a list by reception saying what is happening everyday. The evening entertainment is there for both adults and children but yes it is mostly aimed at the adults the games area doesnt hold much but my daughter made friends quick enough and they are able to play or get up and dance. Michael, John and Jenna really do try to keep everyone happy every night but as they say you cant please everyone. The 3 of them are very out going people willing to make as much fools of themselves as everyone else and make you feel very welcome.

Even though I don't intend on going back simply because I prefer to go places I have never been but I would certainly recommend it.

A holiday will always be what you make of it rather than spending the time looking for faults.

Hi
Yes it was supposed to be in with the price. We went to Lanzarote the year before and had to pay for the clib out there which was fine. But this was supposed to be all in and was more expensive as a result.

No we were not informed that she could use the other kids club. So Im not miserable just bitterly disappointed and it was not what you would call a cheap holiday so we could say ah well, you get what you pay for.

So as I said, its not the Admirals that was the problem and we have taken it further with Thomas Cook.

Annamarie

Helena W

Hi, yea i understand  your annoyance about the kids club being cancelled 3 times whilst you were away. The thing is, did Thomas cook tell you that you had already paid for the kids club when you paid for the holiday? The reason i ask is, when we booked the year before last, we were informed that, yes, there is a kids club, but it must be paid for per session, if our kids decided that they wanted to go. Also, did Thomas cook not tell you that you can use the kids club over at the planos bay? It would have been handy to know, seeing as the kids club got cancelled.

Annamarie B

Hi

I am neither igonorant or miserable and paid £1300 for my CHEAP  holiday. I do not have a problem with the Admirals but with the way it is portraid in the brochure by Thomas Cook. I have had many great holidays with them but had they really given a true description I would not have booked the holiday. The kids club was cancelled 3 times whilst we were there, and as I also took my 1 yr old with me, I was obviuosly not looking to GET RID of my kids so I could get p....d. I stand by my origional comments that although the place was immaculate and the maids etc were excellent, the rooms are appalling and I paid for the Kids Club in my holiday which added a fair amount to the price and my daughter was disappointed when it kept being cancelled. It was her holiday as well......

Hi Ryan, if you go to google and type in xenos hotels, it will show up, along with its sister hotels - planos bay, planos appartments and the zante maris. Watch out though that you don't click on the wrong hotel, as there is an admirals in argassi. LOL

Ryan S

Just got back from admirals friday and it was one of the best holidays ever, even despite the room(s). one bedroom and a bathroom. but does anyone have the phone number or email address for the hotel.

Helena W

Long live the best hotel in Tsilivi - the............................ADMIRALS

Ruth W

I would just like to ask the ignorant self centred misreable people out there who are slagging off the Admirals (you know who you are!!!) how much you paid for this supposedly awful holiday and if you all really looked into the details before you booked? Most holidays to this accommodation are cheap and it's impossible to get a rolls royce for the price of a mini. Anyone with an ounce of common sense can find all the details and descriptions in a travel brochure and can see what they're getting, and if thats not enough, any good travel agent can answer all questions if you're still unsure. a wee bit of advice - stay at home in future! Lets face it THE ADMIRALS IS BRILL

Vanessa S

Hi Angela

The airport can be a bit of a nightmare although the time to the resort is only about 20 minutes.

Michelle T

Hi All - getting excited as we are going on holiday on Thursday!!  Depsite the neggy comments from some I am looking forward to it.  I guess different things are important to different people but thanks to the positive responses from many people I feel my mind is at rest that we have chosen a holiday with all the right ingredients for us which are:

Great people who want to have fun and are friendly
Clean rooms/pool etc
Nice beach
Bit of life - day and night
Other kids for my son (aged 7) to make friends with
Good places to eat that are good for children

What more does anyone want?

Angela

We are due to fly out on Sunday, can someone please tell me how far the resort is from the airport?  I keep reading conflicting times.

Vanessa S

Why are there so many complaints from people about the kids club?  Ok, it's nice to get them off your hands for a couple of hours so you can laze by the pool but come on! You're on a family holiday with your family so do family things!  George, Michael and the gang are fantastic with kids and never get bored of entertaining them (good job it seems in some cases 'cause some of you complainers don't sound like you can be bothered).  If you don't want to hire a car, fair enough but the reps do a good job organising trips - the water park is excellent.

I would recommend the Admirals. We've been twice now and had two brilliant holidays!

Lesley

i think that the people who complained where those who do not have children and who wanted a quiet holiday. they should not have booked into a family place. i recommend going to p**violi taverna and caravel land bar. staff in both places are brill with children and adults alike. the kids club was open every day, except tuesday, and some evenings. this was for a couple of ours at a time which is ample when you are on holiday. i dont think the kids need longer than that. club reps were very good and so were the entertainment lads. cant wait for next year.

Lesley

we are a family with 2 boys aged 8 and 11. Best holiday ever. We nearly cancelled due to bad reviews, so glad we didnt. could not fault any of our holiday and have booked for same time next year

Vicky W

I can't begin to understand why people have got negative views of the Tsilivi Admirals. I have been to Tsilivi four times and have just booked to go back in May. Lesley... in my view you have nothing to worry about. The rooms are basic yeah but lets not forget this is Greece afterall. most hotels and apartments in Greece are basic. However, they are clean and I think they are spacious, there was five of us (Three adults and two youngens) and lots of room!!!

The pool area is lovely, the guy, RUSS who complained about the noise from children, well for one its a family hotel so what do you expect and secondly they must have been having fun to be making such 'unruly' noise as he puts it! The reps were great with my little bro's, who are 7 and 9 and every time we come home, they are the first to ask if we can go back again! They loved going off for the childrens club. again someone complained that it was for only X number of hours aday, well hey.. do you wanna get rid of your children for the whole holiday or what? what do these people expect? The Tsilivi admirals has two sister hotels where the reps run the childrens club in these hotels too, I think 3hours a day is sufficiant, we wanted to do other things too as a family, such as trips out, not get rid of the kids all day at kids club and drink all day!

Lesley, I think your girl will love it here, and you for a matter of fact. The people are lovely and have all the time in the world for you. The entertainment is second to none. There is something on everynight but if you do get fed up then there are plenty of great bars in Tsilivi which are brill. Try Level bar, Ark bar, Deano's Bar, two brothers cocktail bar... theres loads more to try too! As for the beach... I dont understand how someone said the beach is small, there is a small beach near the Tsilivi admirals but if you follow it around the corner there is about 3MILES of pure golden sand.. its the best beach I have ever been to in my life!

I hope this helps..... I love Tsilivi and cant wait to go back in May!

Dawn N

Oh god....have I made a BIG mistake??? I will try and make the best of this hol....I will deffo enjoy thanks Steph but will my daughter? I'm really worried about the bad reviews that I'm constantly reading. Annamarie...thanks for the honesty!

Does anone else have an opinion????
