Maria Hotel

I'm going on the 26/8/14 there will be 3 mums and two kids cant wait

I have just booked 2 weeks holiday with you for my husband and I 26/08/14 can we please have a middle floor room that is far away from the bar......thankyou

We stayed at the Maria Studios for a week in July 2011 and found the accommodation to be typical of Greece – basic but adequate, the pool was a good size and never busy with plenty of sunbeds, but why oh why do they think that all us Brits want to listen to karaoke and do quizzes for our evening entertainment, we went on holiday to get away from that kind of rubbish !!

We decided to hire a quad bike for 4 days and were recommended by the staff to go to Dennis Rentals as he was a friend of theirs and would do us a good deal – what a mistake that turned out to be !! We enjoyed getting around the island for the first 2 days and had plans for the next 2, however on the 3^rd morning we woke up to find the quad had been stolen from under our balcony. Dennis was informed and he told us that we had better look for it or pay him 3000 Euros to buy a new one. We informed the police and were told to go to see them in the next village at 2pm, after a lot of Greek conversation we were no wiser as to what was happening other than the police said they would be in touch if they needed us. The next day we were dragged off to the police station to make a statement, this involved the assistance of our tour operator, the British Consulate and a translator and took 3 hours to sort out. In the end we were told that the police had dismissed the issue as Dennis had not put on the contract paperwork that we would be liable if the bike was stolen, little wonder he had tried in vain to get the contract from us on the pretence of wanting a photocopy.

The general consensus of opinion was that the bike was either lifted onto a trailer or driven away with a key, we had one key and guess who had the other  ??? I leave you to draw your own conclusion as to what happened to the quad with the registration number ZAX 799.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES HIRE ANYTHING FROM THIS MAN !!    

If you don't like Karaoke or quizzes with questions relating to happenings on Eastenders or staying up until 4am then stay away from Maria Studios.

Zante is a beautiful island and we would like to have seen more of it than we did – Thanks for spoiling our holiday Dennis !!

 For anyone thinking of staying at the Maria you cannot get better, The rooms are immaculate,and kept to a very good standard. This was our first trip to Zante and the welcome we got from Theo,Billy,and Alex was just fantastic, they made you feel so relaxed and nothing was too much trouble.We had some good nights playing pool especially "killer"with Stan.Carol. Jammie and Liza which made for some good laughs.We was sad when we had to leave 2 weeks goes so fast. just about to set off again after a brilliant holiday last year in the Maria in ALYKEZ ZANTE had a wicked time there and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is quite a walk from the beach but never found it a problem as it was out of the noise of the village where all the bars were. The boys there were wonderful and made you so welcome, they never seemed to be put out with any request you had, they made the evenings fun and got everyone to mix in and join the fun. The accommodation was very comfortable and the maid service was very good, We met some wonderful friends there and felt quite sad to leave. Have been going to this fantastic place for years ,its a place you can just chill or get stuck in and have totally brilliant holiday, i have made so many good friends there and still keep in touch with last year when my son and  i  left the whole place came to see us off as we knew everbody there sowhat are ya waiting for  GET YASELF TO MARIA AND START ENJOYING LONG LIVE KING BILLY THEO ALEX AND PHILL IF HE IS BACK your best mates Tony & Dale (little brother) see ya soon back in 2010 YAMMASSSSSSSSS

Hi Vicky, I think the air con is roughly 40 euros per week, and the safe I think is just a deposit that you get back... We had a safe but I can't remember exactly how much it was, i'd say about 10 euros per week!! Hope you have a great time!!! x x x

Just come back from Hotel Maria Alykes, had a fantastic time, it was our second year there, Alex, Billy, & Theo were perfect hosts yet again.

Met some nice people Linda, Geoff, & Danny, enjoyed there company, can't wait to go back again.

If you want a good night out go to the Iris Bar, the best places we ate at were, Relax, Asteria, and Fantasia, all of which were very good, and reasonably priced.

If you want a relaxing holiday, this is the place for you 10/10

Hi everyone! just returned from a fantasic 2 weeks from the Maria Hotel. I liked to Thank; Theo, Billy and Alex, for a great time, Nothing was to much trouble for them. The Hotel although basic, is clean and the maids service was excellent. This is the second year we have been although the town i feel i quiter because of the recession, We have met some fabulous people, and have swapped email addresses to keep in touch. If your looking for a a relaxing, family or couple holiday then the Maria Hotel is for you.

Just returned from Hotel Maria, what can I say apart from, we had a one of the best holidays ever, Theo, Billy, Dennis, and the one and only Alex, were perfect hosts, always friendly, polite, and a good laugh, also the cleaning Staff were hard working and also very freindly, and they all worked very long hours.

We met loads of people there, such as Keith, Shelia, Charlie, Yvonne, Les, Diana, and Tom, to name a few, we enjoyed ourselves that much, we are going to go back, the same time next year, and hopefully meet up with some of you yet again.

It was our first time anywhere in Greece, and it won't be our last.

Just returned from a weeks holiday in the Maria Apartments. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday this is NOT the place for you. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, but music plays all day around the pool, and not just at background  level, which would have been fine. If you find yourself in either room 38,39,40 or 41 sleep is impossible, as they are above the bar, guess who was in one of these. The noise is horrendous and goes on till two, three and four o'clock in the morning. Saturday night was really bad as it felt as if the whole building was vibrating with the noise. Glad to be back to peace and quiet,.  But the weather was great.

hi  just home from 2weeks at the maria apartments what a great time we had on our first time in zante,  theo,alex, dennis,&  billy make you feel very welcome  the apartments themselves are well laid out, lovely swimming pool,and nice eating area if you go hungry,the apartments are always clean and tidy we had a nice big balcony to

 the boys were all helpful even the cleaning staff aswell and always very pleasant lovely fresh towels and bed linen hope to see you all again

We have just returned from our second visit to the Maria Studios, 13 of us made up of 4 generations aged 74yrs to 4yrs and all had a wonderful time. The bar was lively (and late) enough to keep the 20 year olds happy without disturbing the oldies and also pleasant and welcoming enough to keep the oldies happy without annoying the youngsters.  The pool bar offers great snacks at good prices.
