Not Our first visit to Alykes, but our first visit to the Roulla Studios. What can I say it isn't one of the best but the BEST place we've ever stayed in Greece by far. It's family friendly and family orientated, with a well-stocked book exchange. The Clio bar/hotel next door supplies the refreshments and food. The rooms perfect, excellently kept and maintained with daily visits from the cleaner. Eleni, what a host, treated us like one of the family. Coffee, Frappe's, Tea by the urn. Home cooked food and cakes. Nothing was too much for her. It was tough too leave and return to the UK and It's lovely!! Weather. | This is the best place to stay in Alykes (in fact Zakynthos). This will be our 5th year with Eleni, Sakis, Efi and Roulla. Our 12th in Alykes. Could not ask more for friendly family service and being made to feel part of the family. It is like staying in your own private villa with pool but with a few friends old and new. Definately the place to book if you have youngsters (ours are 6 & 9). Can be booked via Alikes.com web site at very good value for money. Have become great friends with Eleni and Sakis over the years. Mr Silva at the Clio opposite also provides a warm welcome and can often be seen sitting with Eleni and Sakis having an Oozo into the wee small hours.
Quiet, friendly, clean and comfortable. About 10 minutes walk to the beach and village. Several pool bars near by but all with a low volume after 11pm (just right for those with little ones).
You really wont get better.
Look forward to seeing you all in August 2008.

Once again we have had a really great time there with you and your family at the number 1 place to stay on Zante. Thankyou so much for organising sam and terry at the panorama,they also said they would come back again soon.As we dont have to say but i will the rooms are excellent and the pool is the best. We really felt part of the family with you and loved our meal at the poolside with your family,and the beer family it was the best we had all holiday......yummy. Hi Eleni this is jackie an rob do you remeber us? we didnt stay at your apts but so wished we had we just called to see you and to check out where our daughter (Marissa an husband Chris boys Otis an Theo) were comming to stay, you made us so welcome we want to come too!!! shame ,we had a few lovely visits with you your husband and the lovely american/greek relative/friend.
Anyway i firstly want to thank you for being so geniune and welcoming, and reasuring us as parents our daughter and family will be in suberb hands, your message board reflects you 10/10 person. also i gave you the wrong dates for my daughter, i think i told you the 19th july when its actually the 15th july she will be one of your horrid early morning arrivals. Hope you are coping with the heat wave, wish i was there.

| Just returned from our third visit to Roulla and Efi apartments. Already booked twice for next year. Eleni is definitely the 'STAR' of the Ionian Islands. Each visit has just got better and better. The hospitality shown to us is second to none. The worst part of each holiday has been saying goodbye to Eleni, Sakis, Roulla, Efie and Soulla. Can't wait for next year.
