Macedonia Hotel - (Accommodation in Kalamaki)

Ruby W          10/10

We visited this hotel from 10 July 2011 until 17 July 2013 and we loved every minute we were there. We were a family of 7 aged 66, 60, 36, 36,31, 8 and 6 so we were not looking for a clubbing loud noisy holiday and the Macedonia was perfect for us all.

They were very friendly from the moment we checked in to the moment we left. The apartments were very comfortable and clean and plenty big enough for us all.The pool was very good and there was always plenty of sunbeds available throughout the day.
They served drinks, meals and snacks all times of the day and evenings and they were of very good quality and very reasonably priced (cheaper than you would pay in the UK). ALL THE STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL.
The hotel is a very short walk to the mile long strip of restaurants, bars and cocktail bars and a bit further from the old town which again had a good choice of restaurants and bars.
They had entertainment on in the evening but these were generally turned off at midnight.

Ambrosia - (Restaurants in Kalamaki)

Ruby W          10/10

We visited Kalamaki between 10 July 2013 and 17 July 2013 and have to agree with all the positive comments made on this website. It really is a wonderful place to eat and we ate there twice during the week. It would have been more but we wanted to visit some others too.

The staff are wonderful, they made a big fuss over the grandchildren (they are still talking about it now we are back home). The food and service was brilliant too. We all loved the Greek dancing with the fire and the plate smashing.
The service was very good and they took their time in helping you to choose what to eat and when it arrived it was perfect.

A great restaurant and thanks for helping to make our holiday so special.

Olive Tree Restaurant - (Restaurants in Kalamaki)

Ruby W          10/10

Just back from Kalamaki and had to write a review of the Olive Tree as we enjoyed it so much.

We were a family of 7 ranging from 66 to 6 and we all loved it. We were well looked after and not rushed to order or eat and we all agreed we had some fabulous meals there. We went twice during our stay.

Its a nice restaurant which is usually busy but not too hectic. The staff were very attentive and helpful in choosing meals.

It was good value and not expensive for the food and drinks

Well done, if we come back to Kalamaki we will be there again for a couple of meals

Dias - (Restaurants in Kalamaki)

Ruby W          10/10

Just back from Kalamaki and wanted to say how much we enjoyed eating at Dias.

The night we were in (Monday 15 July) was quite busy and some may say the service was slow but we were on holiday and in no rush so we had a drink and let them take their time in cooking our orders. When it arrived it was perfect. Each person really enjoyed their meal.

The staff were friendly and attentive without being too intrusive -- just as we like it. But its all about the food and this was first class.

It must be a good place to eat as we are all sure that Richard Branson was also eating there that night. Did anyone else see him with his wife?

Well done Dias, see you again sometime -- we hope
