Can any one tell me how far the Hotel Alexander is away from the night life in walking distance/time? Is it suitable for young couples also. Thanks Lisa

Can you tell me if the Plaza II has a safe facility? Travelling 21st august for 2 weeks

My boyfiend and I stayed at the Plaza II last year Sept 02, we are returning there again 21st August 03 this year for 2 weeks. We had a lovely ground floor apartment with a ceiling fax, the staff were very fiendly if you make an effort to be friendly with them. The food was great, the pool got a bit busy, but with the beach 2 mins walk away you can't complain. The earthquake and the thunderstorms were out of their control, but were risking it again this year see you there : ) Enjoy!

My boyfield and I have just returned from Laganas, we ventured up the hill to the Akropolis on a number of ocassions during our 2 weeks stay. Yes it was a bit further than the signs said but only 5 mins from the main high street near the cosy corner cross roads, up the hill past the Dallas restaurant also nice. We tried a few of the Greek dishes including the Kleftiko (superb), Hawian chicken, chicken Zanta all lovely. The Baileys Coffee's were a nice end to the Meal also.

My boyfriend and I ate at the Dallas 3 times in our 2 weeks stay all times the food was very nice, the first time they were very busy at 10pm so we did have to wait for about 35 mins for our food, after that it was ok.

My boyfiend and i ate at this restaurant our first night there, the food was really nice but 1 of the waiters about 35yrs was really miserable and arrogant, the older chaps were nice though. worth a visit.

My boyfiend & I ate here this year in sept and last year both times it was very nice but not as busy this year. The Chrispy Duck with pancakes wasn't like in England a bit poor but the spare Ribs, Lemon chicken, s & s chicken, beef & bamboo shoots and the chicken satay skewers were all lovely as was their medium dry house wine served in most of the restaurants in Laganas.

My boyfriend and I returned to the Plaza II in sept this year, for the 2nd year running we had a ground floor apartment again all though the 3rd floor was finished, we were offered a top floor app but they had no ceiling fan as of yet as they are only recently finished.

It was a lot busier this year due to the extra floor, the pool was a bit packed but the beach is so near you can take your pick.

There was some noise around the pool during the day due to a lot of kids those weeks and up until 4am some mornings due to a lot of teenagers who were staying there, but then who goes on holiday for peace and quiet.

It wouldn't put us off returning again and the weather was great.

Comment for people travelling this year we have travelled 3 times so far with Manos Holidays mytravel.co.uk website which was good. Stayed at Plaza 11 twice, very friendly people, George and family. There is a nice chinese restaurant called Dragon Garden & the Akropolis at the top of a hill, only 10 mins walk well signposted, near cosy corner well worth it food was lovely expecially the kleftiko. Didn't have a bad meal in and restaurant though! Laganas is only 10 Euro's taxi fare and 15 mins from the airport so if you don't want to wait for the long winded coach ride, jump in a cab well worth it and saving 2 hours for.

Can anyone tell me what George at the Plaza 11 email address or phone number is as my boyfriend and me have been twice but would like to book direct with them next year and our flights seperately. If any one has any good tips it would be great to hear!! Lisa Brown
