I am going to Zante on 27/9/02 and am staying at the Castelli Hotel. Can anyone advise me what the rooms are like, whether or not you can obtain a fridge for your room and any other useful info. Thanks.

Are there safety deposit boxes at the hotel or nearby

just got back on monday 7th october, the weather was not brilliant we had two thunderstorms and a very rainy day on 6th. As far as the hotel is concerned it is ok, very clean and tidy, sprios and anastasia are very welcoming, this is an ideal hotel for familes and older couples, however if you are looking for a raging time ie coming in late and getting up late it is not for you. spriros closes the doors at 2am and you have to knock him awake to get in, he didnt seem to mind when we did this but you feel guilty. the cleaners start to knock on the doors at 9.30am but do go away for an hour if you are still in bed. the hotel is about a 20 min walk into town which is down the road and along the beach and this brings you at the beginning of the main high street. the staff at the hotel were really friendly and welcoming too.

this was ok just your typical frozen food restaraunt

good food, the only problem is they put the meat dishes at the far end so you fill up your plate with salad, rice and potatoes etc and then there is no room on the plate for the meat, start at this end!!

AB FAB!!! THE BEST FOOD ON THE ISLAND, THE WAITRESSES ARE REALLY FRIENDLY AND ARE SO WELCOMING. EAT THE MUSHROOMS AND THE CARBONARA, THEY ARE EXCELLENT. VERY REASONBLY PRICED FOR TWO OF US WE USUALLY HAD A STARTER EACH, A MAIN COURSE EACH AND 2 LOTS OF GARLIC BREAD ONE WITH THE STARTER AND THEN ONE WITH THE MAIN AND A COUPLE OF DRINKS EACH AND THE COST AVERAGED 34 EUROS

Ok food but it came too quick you more or less sat down, ordered and it was there. Loads a flies were buzzing about whilst we ate they need some repellant on the tables to keep them away. food cheap though

very good nite out, jessie (the karaoke man) is really good and entertaining.

great for bingo and even had a connect four game which is sad but it brings fun to the hol instead of just sitting there watchin the world go by
