If you liked Butlins then this will be just up your street. Complete with an English DJ no one has ever heard of playing hits such as YMCA and the Pet Shop Boys you generally feel very embarassed to be there. The average age of one of their "clubbers" is approximately 15 and will be drinking their favourite alcopop until they throw up! The barmen think they are gods gift to women but I have a suspision that they are gay. The Greek men love this club as they can prey on young innocents who they hope to spend the night with or if they are lucky marry. The fact that even the PR has admitted to me as having problems with this disco demonstrates the exact reasons as to why it is important to stay away!

This place has a lot of potential, however it is unfortunate that there has to be so many children running about the place! This completey runined the ambience.

Again this bar has a lot of potential. However the PR man - Rick - has even lot all enthusisiam for his job hints that this place may not be the best bar in Argassi. There is a nice spacous dancefloor - shame there is no one dancing on it though! The drinks are very expensive and the bar staff boring and miserable.

Dear Ms Butt If you have finished criticising my opinion and are over the age of consent then I am sure that you will be able to appeciate my comments more. The resort/clubs were dreadful, if you have a life I am sure you would have felt the same.

How can anyone say the factory was great - do you not have eyes? standards? taste? Did you dare leave Argassi and go to Laganas where there were REAL clubs. I doubt the vast majority of the Factory punters did for fear of getting asked for id or for being away from their parents for too long. As for the owners of the accommodation only speaking Greek - if you are in the business for catering for a high commodity of English customers it may be a wise business move to learn the language. If you had paid as much as I had for a holiday that did not provide suitable sleeping conditons then I feel that it is within my rights, as a full-paying customer to conplain -after all it was falling short of many EU laws.

Hi Nad, Sorry for mistaking you for a girl earlier. I have been to several resorts in the Greek islands and have been very disappointed with this one. I simply look for more excitment from a holiday than what Argassi could provide, I however did not complain about the portions of chips - please stop mis-quoting me! As I have experienced more and more of life my expectations of a resort - particluary one that cost me the best part of £700 to visit - should be matched. Argassi was described to me a lively island - later I discovered it is a very family and couply orientated area which really should be emphasised when people book the holiday. At the time it was not, not until I arrived I could see this. As a 20 year old student I felt I was visiting my worst nightmare and was not a place I would visit again. I agree that Greece is a very basic island - not disputed as previously stated I have visited other Greek islands and I am very familiar with this. HOWEVER when your apartment is missing a third bed when stated it would have it I am sure some of you can appeciate the frustration and disappointment we experienced. If you liked Argassi - fine, brilliant. However I can only emphasis the fact that it is extremely tame when you are used to the likes of Ibiza, Rhodes and Corfu in comparsion. Alternatively Argassi had some of the best restaurants I have ever eaten in for very reasonable prices too. The only Greeks I have complained about are the owners of our apartments and the Greek men - these thoughts have been echoed by several others on this site. People take my opinions and are twisting them - I am sorry you do not agree with them but there we are.
