Noula Studios - (Accommodation in Argassi)

Justin B

Just got back from Argassi after two weeks at these studios with my girlfriend. We liked the place and Spiros and Noula (and their daughter who look after the pool bar in the day)make you feel welcome. The pool was lovely although cold at times due to the odd cooler day in Oct but it was really nice and Spiros spends time each night cleaning it out and looks after it well. The rooms themselves are basic but comfortable. Good view of the sea and Olympia on the mainland from the balcony. The shower is powerful but you have to hold the shower head and there is no shower curtain! My only complaints would be that the wardrobe makes your clothes smell after a while and the maid tended to just walk in without knocking (we were still asleep once!) but usually when she came round (about 10am) we were out but if you are going to have a lay in, be prepared or ask her not to do it - although she was Romanian and didn't seem to speak any English or Greek from what I could gather! All in all I would recommend this place, especially if you like a nice quiet pool with bar to relax by.

Oasis Bar (Toucan Bar) - (Bars in Argassi)

Justin B  (17 October 2002)

This bar was ace! - Ken and Jude are two of the nicest people you will ever meet and they make damn good drinks to boot! Try Kens Iced tea....if you can drink more than one without passing out, you're doing well! Also, if you can handle that then you should try some of the chillie vodka and that will definitely blow you away, in more ways than one! I never heard Kens rendition of rubber ball, despite asking, but we had a fab time there and would recommend to anyone. Proper drinks at proper prices and great company to match. Ken/Jude, if you are reading - you have done well there guys and we'll be back if we go back to Zakynthos....thanks for the bottles Ken - they all got home safely and for that I am sparing you the photo I have with the naked woman apron going on the net! Take care....Justin and Dawn.
