I am staying at the Golden Sun Kalamaki in July. Any info about hotel greatly appreciated. Also any recommendations for anything in Kalamaki

Have just returned from 2 weeks at the Golden Sun Hotel. Hotel and pool very clean, maid service daily, Aircraft noise varied from 5am some mornings to nothing till after 7am other mornings. Lack of nightly entertainment, but not a problem as we tended to walk into Kalamaki in the evenings. Continental breakfast and buffet style dinner. Mary behind the bar was very friendly as were the girls behind the reception. Restaurant staff were a bit formal.

Found the Oasis Bar on the second week of our hols.Run by two brothers. Enjoyed the atmosphere and cocktails. My young son Sam loved the free Playstation. Nice terrace bar with overhanging plants. Happy hour till 2200 but at the end of the night our bill still seemed to be happy hour prices, which was a pleasant surprise.

Excellent location. Lovely cooling breeze from the sea. Had lunch here a couple of times. Friendly service, reasonable prices.

Visited Zepos a couple of times and I can only endorse the previous comments. Excellent

Its well worth a visit. Watching the waiters is entertainment in itself. Service was excellent, prices very reasonable. Can reccomend the Kokkinisto (Zante Beef).
