apartments were basic but clean. maid service was excellent, they even did a bit of washing up we had left. the walk up the hill is not too bad for anyone who is not disabled. just outside the main commercial area so it is reasonably quiet, unless you are unlucky enough to get a room near the pool. pool is quite small and does get crowded. the pool bars near the beach are a better bet. try Remezzo really friendly people.this is basic greek accommodation don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed.we were there last 2 weeks in may 03
if you have read your brochure you know what to expect. the beach is narrow but it is sandy and safe for the kids.our 5yr old could go 30 yards out and the water still only reached his stomach.we hired sunbeds right next to the beach at remezzo pool bar and the kids had the choice of beach, sea or pool.don't think i would like it high season, it would be too crowded.
this place surprised me, we knew it was owned by locals but staffed by
brits and the main reason we went there was because the kids wanted to eat out on the roof terrace.i was sceptical, but i have to say the food was as good as any we ate in the 2 weeks we were there.potato salad and pate for starters, lamb and seafood souvlaki main course, all were excellent. the downside is that although the staff were friendly they were crap at their jobs, messed up both the kids meals.
if you want something that approaches an authentic greek dining experience, this is one of the few places in argassi that fits the bill. lamb kleftiko and village chicken both excellent, try the house red well worth 3euro/ltr.laid back service but who wants to rush when on holiday.
we must be the exceptions, food was very average, service was to be polite just about polite, and a limited menu
