Tony, you said ask you a question so here goes...
We (myself, wife and two girls aged 7 and 10) arrive on Tuesday 17th at 19.55 and are really looking forward to meeting you and staying at the Planos Bay.
I've read some horrors about the airport so wondered if you had any suggestions to make getting through check-in etc as smooth as possible.
Also, can we take a taxi to the apartments rather than coach transfer? as i notice it's alot quicker.
We went on this trip after reading about it on this site and it was absolutely fantastic.
Spyros is an absolute star who has a true passion for what he does, my two daughters aged 10 and 7 even got to steer the boat as we sped along the coastline! The smile on Spyros's face was as big as theirs.
We had the shipwreck to ourselves, drove right into the blue caves (as the bigger boats just looked on from a few hundred yards away) and stopped at a beautiful tiny harbour where we dived off the boat for a snorkle and a swim.
It was 30 euros each for my wife and I and 15 each for the kids, this may sound expensive when you can go in one of the bigger boats for about 17 euros each but this trip really should not be missed.
It was the highlight of our visit to Tsilivi. Thanks Spyros.
Poor food with even worse service. My two kids had eaten their meals before my wife and I received ours.
We returned yesterday from 2 weeks at Planos Bay (formerly planos park) and we had the time of our lives. Everything was perfect, the rooms, the pool area, the entertainment (especially Kate who i'm sure runs on batteries) and Tsilivi in general....all fantastic.
It's close (200 metres) from beach, has a well stocked supermarket and is in easy walking distance (10 minutes) from the main resort centre.
Thanks to all at Planos Bay for a SURPERB fortnight.
