Well just got back from the Perkes and there is just one word i have to say is "excellent"!!! A big hi to Sam & Cheesy - hope you guys are both well - Cheese you & the boys need to come to Brum for a night out - make sure you don't fall over though!!! Would recommend the place to anyone! Rachel, Nick, Alan & Bianca make you feel so welcome & nothing is too much trouble! Wish i was still there now! Make sure you pack your suntan lotion it is hot hot hot!! Sophie xxx

Hi Rik, I'm afraid to say that the Perkes don't hire out fridges - the pool side bar is open all day & very reasonably priced though with cold beer flowing all day long!!! When in June you out there?

Ceri, I wouldn't advise walking in & out of town at night-time - taxi's hardly cost a thing - and it's better to be safe than sorry - been to Laganas 4 times now & every year hear something bad about re young girls & the Greek men - don't let this put you off just stick together & get cabs!

The Hotel is one of the best i have ever stayed in & have stayed there 5 times to date & have booked already for next year. The staff there are so helpful & the owners Rachel & Nick are second to none. Taxi in to the main town is 5 Euros or a 20 minute walk - it's a great location set out of the hustle & bustle of the main strip. Yes it's basic but from experiences of visiting all the Greek Islands it's the same everywhere. Breakfast is continental bread, cheese jam tea or coffee but you can have cooked at a very reasonable price - all the food here is excellent & highly recommended. This is a friendly family run hotel that the locals & workers all use for food & swimming etc - now that speaks for itself - it's reputation in Laganans is the best. Can't wait til July next year when i'll be there for my 6th time.

OK - just want to put people straight about the Perkes & the staff there. I have been going there for 7 years now sometime 3 times a year - Nick & Rachel are fabulous people & their children beautiful - this is a family hotel & they are cared for exceptionally well so Gemma there is no need to say this is not a place to bring kids up in. At the end of the day it is all about respect not just for the owners but for other guets too - would you behave the way you do on holiday at home................when i was there in July groups of girls & lads got thrown out for being disrespectful/being abusive/damaging property & it was deserved - they are also stict that it is there business & do not allow people to bring drink & food into the pool bar area - but this is a rule at most hotels so don't see a problem - as for the pool bar food menu - all the food is home made & can highly recommend. The hotel is basic, air con is available at a cost. This hotel is family ran & a fun place - the owners only get strict when you take the piss. I would highly recommend this hotel.
