Dinos Hotel - (Accommodation in Tsilivi)

Got back on Sunday 13 July and had a fab time. Apartments are lovely, we had a balcony (some don't) and they have these great mosquito screens so you can leave your door open at night to let some air in without worrying about the mozzys. Pool very clean and quiet, very peaceful and just a short walk into town and to the beach. Only concern was all the rats in Tsilivi town....not very nice as they're right by the restaurants. You might want to take some extra towels with you (you only get 2) as they don't get changed as often as other places I've been (about every 3rd day and that goes for the bin by the toilet as well!)

Tsilivi Resort - (Resorts in Zante)

Got back July 13 went for a week and had brilliant weather, everyone really friendly. Hire a fan and take plenty of immodium with you!

We also had the bug for a day and a half each but didn't affect the holiday too much. Quite a few people we talked to in our complex had suffered with it too.

We stayed at Dinos studios, fabulous brand new apartments with a great pool really peaceful at night and just a few mins walk to the resort.

We have been to Laganas before a few years ago and loved it. One thing that did concern me was the number of rats in the town. I saw one running next to a restaurant, tons down the side of one of the chinese restaurants, one dead in the road and another running along the main road into Tsilivi.....Has anyone else see them?! Think that could have something to do with the bugs that everyone keeps getting?

Don't want to worry anyone as I don't know if this is common in Greece or not...I didn't see any when we went to Laganas but that could just be luck. Think they need to tackle the problem though.
