I've just been again to Zakynthos and have eaten in the Pythari every time. The first time I went was 1989 and the service and the food are always excellent! I send my love and best wishes to Nico, Christos and Viv, their families, and of course Nico and all the waiters who were excellent!!! I hope to see you all again soon.

Phil, Just read your query. The Daisy Appartments are set back from the road at what I call the quiet end of Kalamaki. Do you know the small supermarket built like a small castle it's opposite there. It isn't in the hustle n bustle side of Kalamaki but its within easy walking distance (about 20 mins from the beach)

First let me say CONGRATULATIONS to you on winning the Euro Football Cup. I'll bet there were a few hangovers on Monday Morning. BRAVO!!!! I bet Nicos and Athena were up all night on the Racki or the Ouzo. I stayed at the Rainbow last year and really enjoyed it. It's a place where you can go to get away from it all. The family are lovely people and will welcome you with open arms. I've just come back from there again and shall be booking shortly to go again next year. This is a place where you can go to stay and never need to leave as they have Rooms, Taverna, Bar and a Pool so you could spend the whole week or forghtnight at the Rainbow. Hi, There isn't a website for Daisy's that I know of but you get what you see and the Daisy is the Best. Peter and Andrea are fantastic hosts and you won't encounter any problems if you stay here. If you want any further info just ask. I guarantee you will have a great holiday. I always do.

Hi Lisa. Yes the rooms are equiped with all your basics, Hob with 2 rings, cutlery, plates, cups, glasses, even draining board and bread board, but i'm not sure why you want to cook as its so cheap to go to the snack bar or Taverna which are just downstairs. mozzies are not as bad this time of year but take plug-in and repellent just in case. I've just returned after a fortnight's hols (again) and want to say how great it has been. The only problem was it went too fast. I feel like i have only had 2 days not 2 weeks. I'm definately going for 3 weeks at least next year.
